5 /5 Krystin Grant: Lynda was so nice & got us in right away. Jen did my mother in laws hair for me. They were polite. Both women welcomed us in. They were both in happy, friendly, warm & professional. They invited us to wash our hands then get comfortable. She even got me the remote to watch what I wanted while my mother in law was getting her hair done. The place was warm, comfy &pleasant to be at. My mother in law had a nice time & her hair came out beautiful! Every other customer coming in acted like they just came home. Everyone seems to love Sacandaga style!

Elegant Nails & Spa (Greenwich) - New York Izabella Dziecharska: I’ve come here a handful of times now and it’s become my favorite nail salon in the city! First of all it’s not outrageously expensive like most places AND they do a great job. All the other places I’ve gone that charge the same or less do an absolutely awful job in one way or another. The ladies here know what they’re doing and they work HARD. I definitely recommend Sunny, especially if you’re getting dip powder. She does so so good every time and is so sweet. One word of advice would be to avoid going after work as it can get very busy
M&M studio nyc Nails and Eyelashes - New York Jamie Wernet: A few years ago I decided I wanted to be a nail girlie. When a different salon totally cooked my nails with Gel-X extensions, I thought I could never keep it up. Now you’ll find me at M&M studios every three weeks, happy as a clam and sporting gorgeous nails. I do a gel fill so I don’t have to soak my nails in acetone. It looks perfect and honestly lasts me 3-4 weeks. I only come back in week three because the regrowth bugs me — I’ve never had a chip or a break. Kana does a beautiful job every time. And, they’re dog friendly and so sweet to my dog when she tags along. So glad I found this place!
Golden Glow Spa - New York Emily Groveman: I’ve been going to Ivy and Maggie for more than two years now, and they kill it every time. They have such an eye for detail— show them any picture and they can recreate it perfectly. Get yourself an SNS manicure— my nails last four weeks without chipping every time… even if I’ve gone bowling!!
Golden Tree Nails & Spa - New York Lola Kramer: I’ve been going here for years, and all along, Golden Tree has consistently maintained a clean, welcoming space with friendly manicurists who provide efficient services. I’m surprised the rating seems forever paused at a 3.8, but I suppose this proves these rating systems don’t always reflect a business’s grit or true performance — particularly from the locals who are there regularly and usually not the ones to review. The frequent customer punch card is the way to go and each time I wind up at a different salon, I regret not having waited for Golden Tree. Don’t forget to tip these hardworking women who run the show.
The Gel Bar - New York Audra Phillips: I loooved my gel mani with Rocío. I walked in after a last minute date was planned because I could NOT go with my chipped nails, and they made time to accommodate me. I knew I wanted navy but had trouble picking, and they helped me out (this one is Russian navy). Also, I am a pickyyy girl when it comes to shape, but Rocío was able to get it right with strong attention to detail. Absolutely loved my service!! Couldn’t recommend more.
JN Nail Bar - New York Nancy: Seriously the best manicure I’ve ever had! I got my nails done here SIX weeks ago, and they still look amazing (see photos). Obviously my nails have grown out but the polish has not chipped or peeled one bit. The technicians are super skilled, funny, and friendly. I definitely recommend getting a “Cat Eye Gel Manicure” here. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them. Thank you!

The location is perfect with easy access to public transportation. The salon is clean and comfortable. Ayumi is nothing short of amazing. She takes great care to please her clients and delivers impeccable work. I enjoy the one-on-one service that she provides. Ayumi is the Picasso of nail art!
