5 /5 Stephen Bobik: Ive been getting my haircut done by Goldie and her staff for nearly a year now. First off, I respect this wonderful woman--shes had quite the number of tragedies strike her family but she continues to let her light shine and do the best that she can given the circumstances. In regards to her hairdressing skills: shes meticulous, a master of her craft, and she will deliver what you ask of her. Whether its having in-depth conversations with her about the current state of the world, listening to the music she plays while Im getting trimmed, or just enjoying her friendly company on any given day there have been many lovely experiences for me. A word to the wise: if you do end up planning to check out Serenity Touch Unisex Salons new location off of N Main Street in Liberty, please call to set up an appointment in advance. Shes appointment-only due to high demand and tight schedules. She does her best to accommodate clients, but Ive seen many a people turned away or walking out annoyed because of their own unpreparedness and/or shortcomings of not reading her sign beforehand. I do hope you consider supporting Goldie, one of Sullivan Countys most talented hairdressers. But if not, I hope you find another local hairdresser/barber thats the right fit for you.
