What Clients Are Saying about St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church (on GG)
5 /5 J O: Passed by to see 2 Christmas Trees outside in the rain before going home for lunch.
5 /5 Joan T: Had my moms funeral September 16th. Well organized everything went as scheduled. St Barts my brothers Catholic school and my Son were baptized there. Close to my heart. Parents living in the neighborhood for over 50 years.
5 /5 L: Hospitality welcoming. I enjoy attending Mass in the chapel. The Church is large but allows room for private prayer. Parishioners are respectful and quiet when they see me praying; unlike some other parishes I go to where people start talking loudly with each other when they see me praying. I find that to be annoying!
5 /5 Rosario Guaman: I only go to this church when my family has an event like baptize, first communion and confirmation. Its a small church but has a very good atmosphere and great mass
Vakas Ahmad: An absolutely amazing church for those that have been in the faith for decades, for those who recently rediscovered their faith, for those who are unsure and questioning if this is real, and for those who don’t want to follow Christ right now but want an accepting place to have community. Astoria Community Church is a mixed bag of the most loving people you will ever meet who love and follow Jesus with all their hearts. Look no further, this is a gem in the heart of Astoria!
Theresa Huk-Vallarino: Visit for today’s mass was tops! There is a sense of community together with a great many visitors who connect with each other. The priests are role models who teach us to respect our role as parishioners. Events that coincide with seasons and holidays are taking place. Various trips are announced for us to participate in. These include an upcoming bus trip to the historic
shrines in Philadelphia. Information is available on the website and/or you can refer to the bulletin. Call the parish with questions. You will have a pleasant experience. It is about spiritual awakening and staying committed to your faith.
Tina Toland: Beautiful with an abundance of heritage. We gathered there for Cathy Scherer mass service. We were blessed to have Father Chris there to send an amazing soul to her heavenly afterlife.
Autumn Middleton: Wellspring Church became a home to me from the moment I walked in the door. It feels like the safest place Ive ever walked into to meet with God. And Ive never felt more cared for then I have by the people here. They constantly pray for you and show up for you when you need it. My heart is still adjusting to being loved that well.
Leslie Williams: I love this church and proud to be a member. I love the leadership because you are not just read the word but taught how to apply it to your life. That’s important to me. I don’t want to hear just great singing I want to be edified. To God be All the Glory.
