Stacey: Showed up for my 3:00 appointment for a Brazilian, half leg and an underarm at 3:05. Called twice while on my way, no one answered phone. Confirmed with the receptionist that I had a Brazilian, a half leg and an underarm wax.
Sat around waiting for 20 minutes for no clear reason. Kept asking if they had my appointment. She kept saying yes with no apparent need to tell me why I made an appointment, if it didnt mean anything.
Finally, the technician came around and said lets go.
Took me to a room that wasnt prepared at all. I had to pull the paper out myself. She Didnt say anything. Asked if I should get ready, and nothing.
She proceeded to do my Brazilian wax which seemed fine although she didnt do it correctly. Skipped one section, but whatever.
Then she just left the room. I assumed maybe she had to go to the bathroom or something sat around waiting for 15 minutes. Finally I walked out and she was just sitting there chatting away with the receptionist. I asked if she was going to finish? They both looked at me with the blank stare and I said I scheduled for a half leg and an underarm in addition to the Brazilian.
She came back in and finished. Again, Half-hearted job didnt use baby powder to prep the skin and rushed through it. I still have wax all over my legs.
After she was done I walked out to the reception to pay and again, sat there for 5 minutes while the girls were talking. I looked at the prices and figured out that I owed $125 plus the automatic 15% tip They include. More on that later. So a total of $143.75
Finally she says you $169. I said how did you come up with that number? She said well you got The Brazilian. I said yes. I got a Brazilian which is $45 plus half leg which is 55 plus underarm which is $25. A total of $125 plus 15% tip is $143.75 so I gave her $160 in cash. Told her to give the rest to the lady in tip and I walked out.
Also, the automatic 15% tip is such a joke. Its just so the owner doesnt have to pay the technicians as much and so they can skip out on payroll taxes. As a business owner myself, Im disgusted that someone would be so careless and heartless towards their own employees. Not to mention illegal.

Erica Spatola: Jenna is so informative, smart and detail oriented in her craft. She is incredible at what she does! But perhaps the best part is her electric personality. I love my appointments with Jenna and look forward to them so we can have our chats and laugh. You’ll be so happy to have Jenna for all of your beauty needs!
