She even works with the mistakes of my children deciding to cut their own hair! I love Goldie. She does amazing work and always gives her honest opinion about what to use and not to use! Jean Gabriel Love going here. Always get treated like family here. Theres a sense of calm and peace as soon as you walk in. Never had a stylist more in tune with what I want done. Comes out perfect every time. The interior is impeccably designed. Goldie has such a knack for this. I always tell her that if I ever move Im going to have her do my interior design of the house. Wouldnt dream of going anywhere else or have anyone but Goldie work on my hair. Shes definitely the best!

If I wanted to try something different she accommodates my wishes and gives her honest advice. At her new location on Broadway in Monticello she offers several new services and has an ATM on site. The salon is always clean, decorated for the seasons & holidays, and has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. As for her capabilities, she’s able to do women, men, and children haircuts, and they’re all done to a high caliber. Today we decided to give this place a try and omg Goldie was amazing with us and went above and beyond with costumer service our son didn’t complain or gave her a hard time, she did an amazing job today was our first time seeing our soon with a nice (completed) hair cut and it was amazing. Michael Fernando I had a great cut with Bryan. It was my first time going, I explained my normal cut, and he knew exactly how to do it and made it much better than Ive had in a very long time. The barbers are great to talk to too. Lots to talk about, all while give you a great cut. I recommend making an appointment before going since theyre quite popular. Its $20 for a standard haircut - very good price for the quality of what you get. Ill definitely get my hair cut here again!

Robert Rivera I have been using this Barbershop for the past 7 years and to this day the service and quality is always above and beyond. They’re very welcoming, very accommodating, and now even though I recently moved upstate I still travel back down to see my barber. Nothing having to do with a ‘loyalty’ thing but just the fact knowing no one else puts in the time, attention, quality, and detail in my hair every single time and it comes out the way I want it to or more. My hair is very thick and even difficult to cut sometimes but it’s never been a problem with my barber. Regardless of it taking an hour to cut (which really isn’t a long time), I still prefer that over an other barber who’s fast past and just wants you to get in and out. I will continue to use their services and I thank each and everyone of the barbers in the shop that continue to do amazing work.

Jordain Almazan This is the best barbershop! Tin is fantastic both in character and skill. I have been coming consistently every two weeks since he opened. I love that I can book him on Booksy and when I arrive I am ready to be taken either instantly or within 5 mins! The location is clean, well lit and the music is great. Choosing a barber is like choosing your doctor or mechanic, once you find a great one you dont change. Tin is the embodiment of that statement. If you are with another barber I would consider trying him once, you wont regret it. Dont play with your style!

goose is dumber I’ve came here 2 times and Those 2 times I’ve asked for low taper and they never gave me a low taper they gave me some haircut that i don’t even know the name and they always some how manage to mess my hairline and my haircut. Today I asked for a skin low taper and they didn’t even do it to the skin they js cut it and started giving me some other haircut that I never asked for. If those people are gonna cut hair Atleast know what a low taper is and learn how to do good straight hairlines instead of making them crooked and 4x bigger. I’m never coming to this place ever again. I regret even thinking of getting a haircut here.

Mariah Hasbrouck Bato and Abel are gems when it comes to doing my hair. Theyre super sweet, theyre really nice and they always nail the hairstyle each and everytime. I always leave with a massive smile on my face, as for the actual environment and decor, its a very laid back but classy vibe and very mature. They arent blasting loud music or smoking/vaping in the establishment while tending to you and every time i got there, they do not let me leave until they feel theyve done perfect!! After a short quiz, he was quite knowledgable about the laws, and did 30 Jewish haircuts earlier that day! Hes been doing this for 20 years and his craft reflects his experience.

Stacey Showed up for my 3:00 appointment for a Brazilian, half leg and an underarm at 3:05. Called twice while on my way, no one answered phone. Confirmed with the receptionist that I had a Brazilian, a half leg and an underarm wax. Sat around waiting for 20 minutes for no clear reason. Kept asking if they had my appointment. She kept saying yes with no apparent need to tell me why I made an appointment, if it didnt mean anything. Finally, the technician came around and said lets go. Took me to a room that wasnt prepared at all. I had to pull the paper out myself. She Didnt say anything. Asked if I should get ready, and nothing. She proceeded to do my Brazilian wax which seemed fine although she didnt do it correctly. Skipped one section, but whatever. Then she just left the room. I assumed maybe she had to go to the bathroom or something sat around waiting for 15 minutes. Finally I walked out and she was just sitting there chatting away with the receptionist. I asked if she was going to finish? They both looked at me with the blank stare and I said I scheduled for a half leg and an underarm in addition to the Brazilian. She came back in and finished. Again, Half-hearted job didnt use baby powder to prep the skin and rushed through it. I still have wax all over my legs. After she was done I walked out to the reception to pay and again, sat there for 5 minutes while the girls were talking. I looked at the prices and figured out that I owed $125 plus the automatic 15% tip They include. More on that later. So a total of $143.75 Finally she says you $169. I said how did you come up with that number? She said well you got The Brazilian. I said yes. I got a Brazilian which is $45 plus half leg which is 55 plus underarm which is $25. A total of $125 plus 15% tip is $143.75 so I gave her $160 in cash. Told her to give the rest to the lady in tip and I walked out. Also, the automatic 15% tip is such a joke. Its just so the owner doesnt have to pay the technicians as much and so they can skip out on payroll taxes. As a business owner myself, Im disgusted that someone would be so careless and heartless towards their own employees. Not to mention illegal.

Adriana Cowit My acrylics were done beautifully and were very reasonably priced. The staff however were not the friendliest and displayed a very uncomfortable, unwelcomed attitude. Maybe they were having a bad day? Either way I do not want to have another interaction like that again so Ill probably be going elsewhere next time.

caitlynn grossman I would give this place 0 stars if google would let me. First of all, the costumer service wasn’t the greatest, all the workers seem to be young and not really know what they are doing and had an attitude . Second of all, it took them 3 different workers to do my nails and i was there for quite some time. Third of all, i paid ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS for a full set of gel painted nails. No design, no french, no gems, no long length no additional things, NOTHING. It also didn’t make me happy that they didn’t tell me the total until i saw it on the machine screen and my card was already in the machine. And her response is that tip is included. Very upset that i didn’t stick up for myself and deny to pay that much. I do not recommend this place to anyone and i will be coming back to request a reimbursement.

serena Service was horrible, i had 3 different people do my nails… i was also sat here for 2 and a half hours for dip powder nails. My friend also got a set of acrylics, no design and payed $135. There was absolutely nothing special about these nails. A complete rip off in my opinion. Please save your money and time and go somewhere else.

Chase Beseth I went in for a hair cut and the lady that did my hair was so rude. I tried to tell her what I wanted done to my hair and she said that I don’t need to tell her how to do her job and that she knows how to cut hair, she didn’t even put the sheet thing on me to keep the hair off my clothes, and yanked my head instead of telling me to turn, when it was time to pay she grabbed the card reader and pushed 20% tip after I told her no tip so I ended up paying 39 dollars for my hair cut that usually is only 25, on top if that she cut my hair to short in some places and left others longer. it was completely messed up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE !

Lop Riel I had an extremely disappointing experience and feel compelled to share. I brought my 3-year-old son in for a haircut, and the level of unprofessionalism was shocking. The stylist seemed to have no patience for a child, which is surprising for a kids salon. She abruptly left my son halfway through his haircut, leaving him sitting in the chair without any explanation or apology. Not only did she leave, but none of the other staff stepped in to assist or even acknowledge the situation. I was left feeling confused, frustrated, and frankly, ignored. To make matters worse, I was still required to pay for the unfinished haircut, which is completely unacceptable given the circumstances. A kids salon should prioritize understanding, patience, and a welcoming environment—none of which we experienced here. I would not recommend this place to anyone

Fresh Greens The owners of this place are so rude. I heard them saying rude things about a couple of the stylists and customers there in spanish!! They didnt think anyone would understand them. the woman owner watched my stylist like a hawk and made her really uncomfortable. They have two people without green cards doing hair without a cosmetology license!! Theres dirt caked around their pedi bath and they dont use enough barbicide on the stations! My stylist was new there I dont remember her name but she was so nice I hope she finds a better place to work!! I was a hairdresser so I know. I made sure I took videos so I can send them to the division on licensing!
