HealthAlliance Hospital Emergency Department - Kingston Kat Forge: Came in via ambulance due to severe vomiting and got put into a room , the tech I had came in and she was an angel no complaints about her! However the nurse practitioner basically judged me and assumed I was a drug user just because I wasn’t feeling good enough to do bloodwork IN THAT MOMENT because I pass out every time, in which I stated to her “can I just wait a few minutes and see how I feel”. She said to me “okay so i won’t be doing anything or giving you anything not even fluids without bloodwork” and told me I’ll be refusing my own care and then basically told me to just leave because she won’t be doing anything for me. Honestly I felt stereotyped and I’m even considering suing for medical malpractice. Most definitely will never come back here, I’d rather wait 17 hours at vassar, at least care would be provided at some point.
HealthAlliance Hospital Marys Avenue - Kingston Elizabeth Wilding Murphy: I was treated with kindness and respect by all the staff, and the doctor was extremely thorough with a wonderful caring bedside manner. The nurses were cool and funny and told good stories. I felt so taken care of and was made to be totally comfortable and put at ease throughout the process. Thank you to the wonderful nurses Nicole, Melissa and doctor Wolstein.
