I attended my last appointment on 10/30/24. I informed them I was moving to FL. They asked me the best way to stay in contact. I said email or phone, and made sure they had the correct email on file.
4 months pass, no contact received. No email. No call. No voicemail. No request for an updated address. Nothing. Until 3/10/25, when I get this passive aggressive email.
"Your account has a balance of $195.74. Your payment is now overdue. We are assuming that this is the result of an oversight.
Your account is over 60 days past due. We have extended credit to you beyond a reasonable time period. We feel it is now necessary to receive a response from you."
Shortly after, I discovered they sent a piece of physical mail to an address I told them I was moving from. And continued to insist that this was my fault. But again, no call. No voicemail. No contact other than physical mail to the wrong address, and a passive aggressive email blaming me for it.
Im a pretty reasonable person, as I agreed to give them a chance despite the reviews. And with Dr. Rodriguez I had a good experience in the end. But this is disrespectful and bad business. Ithaca really needs better health care. Glad we moved.
