  • What Clients Are Saying about Warsaw Historical Society (on GG)
5 /5 DoriLynne Collins: My family and I are into the paranormal and supernatural. When we saw the amount of history here, we reached out to see if we could do a bit of paranormal investigating. The president was very enthusiastic about allowing us to. They were very welcoming and shared what theyve experienced themselves as well as told us the history of the building and place. My family and I had so much fun and loved our experience here. They also told us of some places to try and we were happy they did. I would definitely reccomend visiting and enjoy the history here.
5 /5 Patrick Lynch: One of the best historical houses we have been to. Very energetic curator and a comprehensive exhibit detailing the history of Warsaw.
5 /5 Caleb Miller: I volunteered my services at the Gates House for extra credit as apart of my college history class. I was surprised at how much fun I had! This place is rich with the local history and Mrs. Almeter is very friendly and loves sharing the history of the place! They occasionally have speakers, but I spent most my time exploring the displays and plethora of historic artifacts they have there. Thank you, Historical Society and the Gates House!
5 /5 Kathy King: I visited this place in the 60s and 70s when in school. They have worked hard at changing it up to "tell stories" of history instead of the eclectic gathering of artifacts that I remembered. Great place to stop in Warsaw!

Tilly Lo: 20250519 Nice park. I didnt find much to do, but I didnt explore the entire property. There is a boat ramp, children story book garden and playground, and a museum. Looks like they are building a bigger museum.
    Prejean Winery - Penn Yan
    Prejean Winery
    M. Klein: We had not been to Prejean before, but had driven by a half dozen times. The name of the winery is taken from the owners last name. The guy working there was enjoyable to chat with and he knew a lot about the facility, wines, etc. We did enjoy some more than others, noting the dry Riesling was our favorite and grabbed a bottle to go. The facility itself is somewhat dated, primarily because they have been in business for decades. It could use some updates to keep current.

    Finger Lakes Rail Riders
Danita Roberts: Im so glad we did this! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and informative. I enjoyed learning the history of the area. The ride was peaceful and relaxing. We had perfect weather (which I realize they have no control over). The most exciting thing for me was when we saw a little fawn in the grasses next to the tracks. I definitely recommend this for everyone from a couple to a family to a group.
