I am writing to formally report an unpleasant experience I had at your White Plains, NY location (2 Maple Ave). The manager on duty, Trish, was extremely rude and unprofessional during my visit.
I visited the store to return an item that still had the tag attached, although I did not have the receipt. I politely asked whether there was an instance where customer service could verify the purchase. Instead of providing any assistance, Trish responded harshly, saying, “You can do whatever you want to do,” in a dismissive tone.
Throughout our interaction, she continued to interrupt me, raise her voice, and speak over me as I tried to explain myself. When I asked for her name to file a report, she refused to give it. I had to obtain her name from another employee.
This experience left me feeling disrespected and humiliated. I have always associated Neiman Marcus with professionalism and exceptional customer service, which makes this encounter especially disappointing. I hope this matter is reviewed and addressed appropriately to ensure that no other customer has to experience similar treatment.
