Cheng Zou "Gates Miller" is my ex-husband, who unfortunately has a history of abusive behavior. His negative review stems from personal animosity. Iska is a highly professional lawyer with extensive experience in preparing documents to prevent potential future problems.

Christine Tanner My ex-husband and I worked with Iska in mediation between December 2020 and July 2021. For 7 months my ex showed up to meetings unprepared without the required documents. He spent the scheduled times dominating conversation and evading direct questions. She did nothing to guide the conversation, keep him on track, hold him accountable for not following through, or attempt to move forward. The last session we had he once again showed up without the required financial documents and she was prepared to listen to him talk for an hour and a half. I canceled and left the meeting and moved forward with John Orkin. In the end I discovered that my ex was trying to drag out mediation to bleed me of funds and it almost worked. Iska is very nice, but unless you are in total alignment and just need someone to structure the divorce paperwork I would not use her services.

Shannon Rogers Buying a house and need title insurance. The title insurance attorney sat on my file for 2 weeks and did NOTHING. This has now delayed things where I either have to pay another months rent or try to do a pre-possession. Either way its costing me more money that I wouldnt have had to pay if they didnt sit on things for 2 weeks. Then, to top it off, the attorney emails me to tell me they are charging me extra to do a pre-possession even though its their fault it was delayed!!!

Ashley A Excellent reviews, but unfortunately our experience with Nino at Lama Law left us feeling discouraged and disappointed. A few things to consider: - keep detailed notes of every conversation. Things seem to change over time. - seems to be a lot of staff turnover, resulting in increased charges, “attorney fees” versus “paralegal fees”. - demand a reasonable timeline. Don’t settle for “every case is different and will take time”. Of course, more time means more money. We found his attention to detail, lack of following thru, and sarcasm, extremely unprofessional.
