Saira Bakshi Got my hair cut and styled here. Sue did a phenomenal job! She was very warm and allowed ample time for my appointment. The staff was also able to accommodate me on short notice.

Mary Lloyd Hair Designs is the BEST. It was my first visit there and both Denyse and Steve were extremely helpfull in getting me set up with a wig. They explained what I needed to do and made the whole experience, nervous as I was, really great. My deepest thanks and appreciation to them.

Stormi Gardner I went to Studio 162 for the first time and left with the worst nails I’ve ever even witnessed. Luckily for me they didn’t even last a whole day. The nails were lumpy, mismatched colors, and came off within less than 24 hours. I reached out to the artist, Riley, about my concern (messaged nicely and even left a tip because she still devoted time to me) just to be met with a rude response. I even sent her these images and was then blocked. Unfortunately I didn’t realize until after the fact that some friends of mine have gone through this same experience.

Megan Thayer For my wedding, all of the ladies (including me) had hair done at the salon. If you want them to come to your venue, they charge per person so we opted to have our hair done at the studio. It actually turned out great. We were allowed to bring food, and champagne and they even had a table set out and offered to pour drinks for us! There were four hair stylists working with my large group and they seemed to move through them relatively quickly. And I didnt hear any complaints from the girls. I had a trial done on my hair a few months prior and on my wedding day she referenced the photo and did my hair accordingly. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. My only small complaint is as the night went on my hair piece became very loose to the point where I just took it out. I have pretty fine hair...so it easily could have been that with the heavy hair piece. Either way, I was pleased with our service at the salon.

Sarah Stone Last time I got my hair done in July they did a great job however today I Had an appointment at 9am. The doors were still locked at 9:03am went back in at 9:10am and waited until 9:30 for someone to come to the front desk. Then was told by the hairdresser she didn’t have time to do my hair. Got a sorry. And left.

Mara Webster I scheduled a hair dye appointment and was paired with Georgia. She was a sweetheart and patient with my request, especially since the job was going to use quite a bit of reds+pink, blues, and purple! Her attentiveness was appreciated as well, since we had to work on brightening my hair too. And it came out gorgeous! The process was long but worth it, and we were both excited at the results. B hair studio is a new favorite to go to, thank you Georgia!

Adam Cumbaa Brittany gave me the best fade haircut I have received in years after having tried numerous self proclaimed professional barbers/stylist all of which insisted on knowing how to do the cut as I had requested yet left me having to spend the same amount of time searching for a hat or something to cover their terrible versions of a fade haircut. I will highly recommend her to anyone who takes pride in the way they carry themselves or simply expects to get what they requested, were promised and paid for.

Marjorie Williams Called for an appointment for my niece. They got us right in, and her stylist did a great job on the haircut.

Stacy Very cozy shop... Sabrina is friendly and makes you feel at home... Im knew to the area and picked her salon because its close to where I live... Was nervous going to a new person... But she did a great job... Very pleased and I will continue to let her cut my hair...

Chelsea Whalen I brought my 7 and 4 year old boys in for a hair cut. One of the women seemed competent enough, but the other required an enormous amount of direction for what I considered to be a rather straight forward task. Price was on the high end, but if I had received good haircuts for my boys, then I wouldnt have minded. Overall, they were friendly enough, and maybe I caught them on an off day. I am willing to give them one more try, but I wouldnt go in with anything overly complicated.

Nicole Knable Gave girl a photo and really didnt follow it at all, seemed to do the least she possibly could to get a me out of the chair, i went back to even get it fixed and still was hot satisfied, she was clearly new to haircutting in general and had little experience so its partially on me for not being more forceful but I feel like if I take the time to find a picture then you should at least reference it or ask what I like about it. Overall i was just disappointed, especially after paying for 2 separate haircuts and getting the bare minimum done. Didnt even wet or brush out my ponytail line before cutting, which is probably why it came out uneven in the front, and I had to get it fixed at least a bit. I use to love this place but walk ins has turned into get them done fast and dont give the full experience which would be fine but I cant even call and schedule a decent apt bc they tell me to just walk in and this is what happens everytime for the last year it seems.

Mark Stocker Found this place by accident, Chelsea is awesome. Best haircut Ive had in years. She was patient and kind, even stayed open past her closing time to accommodate me. Very reasonable prices, super kind professional. I urge anyone that needs a haircut to come here. Her salon is next door to her home, kinda in the country but 2 minutes out of Potsdam. I assure you its worth a little drive!!!!

Natalie Wendig Wow! Amazing job by Danielle with my hair color and cut. I have been trying to achieve this look for several years and each time it has not turned out as I had hoped. Danielle listened to my ideas (and they weren’t very clear because I don’t have a lot of experience with how to ask for what I would like with my hair) and got it spot on. Same with the cut. I had a direction I wanted to go but wasn’t sure what to do. She educated me and gave me a few different options that would meet my needs and it looks amazing. I love my hair. I have never smiled as much and been so “wow-ed” before. She is a very skilled stylist and sweet person. Thank you so much Danielle!

Billy Payne First time getting hair cut in canton..didnt really know where to go was gonna go. Went to walmart potsadam but they were booked..So glad I ended up going to midtown. Extremely nice lady cant remember her name. Got me right in on a walk in. Good conversation and 110% satisfied with the haircut. Defiantly will ve back for the next haircut. Thank you.
