Andrea Forte I absolutely loved this salon. Very trendy and the shopping was great. Cute boutique inside . Not only was the salon beautiful .My pedicure lady Kim was great. Her and her Co worker Andrea had just invested in a brand new space. Can you believed they worked together for 27yrs at Park ave salon prior. Highly recommend

Remy T This was my first time at Mb Studio and the interior of the salon itself is very bright and has a super cute and inviting atmosphere. Really laid back and friendly, also I didnt feel pressured to buy any products on my way out which is always appreciated. Got my hair cut and highlighted by Brianna, she did an AMAZING job, definitely just found my new hairstylist for life! Ive never had a haircut be exactly what I wanted but she nailed it on my very first visit and I couldnt be happier with my new look. Definitely go see her, Im sure youll be just as happy with the results as I am!!

Bando Ron WORSE PLACE TO EVER BRING A CURLY MIXED CHILD. OR ANYONE WHO WANTS COLOR!! For one my wife booked a color and cut for her and my child (11), she gets there, tells them what she wants and explains that they don’t have enough time.. mind you she called prior explaining what she wanted done for both child and wife. And proceeds to tell them they don’t have enough time because of another client coming, her appointment started at 1, they were running behind, proceeded to text and ask to come 30 minutes later… my wife agrees! & the old lady was nothing but rude and unprofessional. Non accommodating, RUINED MY DAUGHTERS HAIR!!!!! Never going there again. Screams at the top of her lungs when I arrived to pick her up that she’s not a babysitter while she wanted for her mother to get her 30 minutes of a wait just patiently waiting on her tablet polietly & quietly. Screams her salon is closed (but had 5 other clients getting there hair done). Refused to fix the frizz, terrible highlight job, and unevenness. My daughter left in tears!!! Amongst other racial remarks made towards her being half black. -10000/10. WORSE SALON IVE EVERRRRR BEEN TO IN 30 years!!! Disgusting rude staff, unorganized, didn’t ask professional questions prior to their appointments to adequately service and provide enough time for both services. SHE RUINED MY CHILDS HAIR! I’m calling every agency I can to sue for emotional an financial damages Monday morning. Pure trash hair dressers. I will show a before they ruined it and after, the after photos is how they let my baby leave the salon, no gel, no moose no oil, NOTHING!!! Disgusting!!!!

Sarah Ford She did really good and was super friendly and nice. I feel like the price was a bit too high but the quality of the product used was also high so I feel it was worth it. Im not giving it 5 stars because I feel like the hair foils could have been placed in a little bit neater then thay where and I wanted the color to be a bit darker then it was. Overall my hair terned out grate and the service was awesome!!

Sadia Depta Great place. My hair was a mess when I first came in to meet my new stylist. Now my hair feels healthy again for the first time in a very long time! The hair products are of newly released premium brands. See the before, during & after pictures! I came in yellow and left a sexy Hollywood blonde!

Invader Jade This salon is one of the cutest salons around the city! I highly recommend hair stylist Angel for all your specialty coloring needs, she’s super sweet and does a great job! Everyone there is super welcoming and the space is aesthetically pleasing and clean!

Cait Wilmot I can’t say enough good things about getting my hair cut and colored by Brooke here. Every time she’s done my hair, she pays such attention to detail and puts so much care into what she does. She not only takes my requests and executes them flawlessly but improves on anything I could’ve expected. The amount of hard work and the level of service at W Salon, plus the friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, make it such a phenomenal place to come to, not to mention their more than reasonable prices. If you’re looking to get a hair cut, color, or style, cannot recommend highly enough.

Valerie I was in desperate need for color correction, and Ava at W Salon did a phenomenal job coming to my rescue. She gave me jaw-droppingly gorgeous blonde highlights that are so perfect in their color and tone that I cant take my eyes off of them! Ava is very talented, professional and friendly. She also styled my hair super smooth and gave me beautiful beach waves. I walked into the salon wanting to wear a hat, but left the salon feeling like a million dollars. Thank you, Ava! And, a big thank you to Lexi, Salon Coordinator extraordinaire, for connecting me with Ava and fitting me in to see her on such short notice. Such a great salon experience. I look forward to coming back to see Ava again soon!

Sharon Kingdon I’ve been coming to W Salon for about 6 years. I love my hairdresser, Melinda. She always listens to what I want and works with how I style my hair. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I bring my daughter to her as well because she has super curly hair and cuts it well! I highly recommend this salon.

Gillian Walker I dont know how Ive never left a review for Mirror Mirror before this, but anyway. The owner, Bianca, is an angel. Truly a treasure on earth. Shes been doing my hair for over 15 years and Ive never considered seeing anyone else. The salon is gorgeous, bright with plants everywhere and it feels just so peaceful. All the stylists are so talented and sweet, which, Bianca hired them so who could expect any less. My daughter sees Angelica, the curly hair expert and loves her every bit as much as I love B. Every visit is a mini rest & recharge and I always leave feeling incredible.

Kristina Bidwell Bianca, the owner, at Mirror Mirror has been my hair stylist for many years now. I started seeing her when she was with another shop and was thrilled when I heard she’d opened up her own studio! For many people, a hair stylist can be such a personal choice, because they are the person that can bring out your confidence and that special something. At Mirror Mirror, not only do I get to visit with my friends, but I walk out of her studio feeling like a million bucks every time. Bianca is skilled in dye and highlighting, whether I’m looking for business chic or something off the wall and fun (currently totally purple!!), and breezes through short or long hair. My wife has short hair, buzzed in places, and nobody can nail the style like Bianca. My hair is usually quite long, thick, and wavy and she thins, trims, and styles it effortlessly. Also, in my time there, I’ve seen the other stylists working and trust their work as well. Everyone is pleasant to be around, no drama, and awesome hair all around. Finally, scheduling with this team is so easy using the website. I love that feature.

Lexie Sun I had my first-ever balayage today, and it was a fantastic experience! Lydia did an incredible job with the styling—she’s amazingly talented, professional, and attentive. She offered great suggestions and really took the time to listen to what I wanted. The entire team at the salon was welcoming and friendly, and the space itself is clean, comfortable, and inviting. I couldn’t be happier with the results! I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Definitely a 10/10 recommendation!

Sarah Alexandra Tydings Rivajeta is seriously the best hair stylist I’ve ever had! She completely transformed my hair after it had been severely destroyed by bleach from a different salon in another state. She was completely honest with me when I asked to balayage my hair again and told me I needed to wait and grow it out. I am so grateful for her honesty— my hair is now the healthiest it’s been in years from regular haircuts with her and taking her advice with styling etc. Rivajeta has such solid technique and is so attentive to detail. She always makes my hair look so elegant and healthy. Hannah, the salon manager, is so incredibly kind as well! I truly love this salon and highly recommend it.

Gifted and knowledgeable. I flew into town for a business meeting and a conference. She was flexible and adjusted to meet my intense schedule. I received several compliments. She helped me feel fierce and confident during my business meeting. She accentuated my natural beauty. My makeup and curled hair lasted 12 hours. I highly recommend!

Symphony Ross I love beauty castle, I’ve been getting service from Deepa since she was in Namaste grocery store.. my main person is Nabaa, she always does a perfect job (which is impressive because my eyebrows aren’t easy to do).. overall Deepa and Naaba are both amazing, can’t go wrong with neither.

He is very detailed, takes his time, and good at both following requests and suggesting new ideas. The space is beautiful, very clean and pleasant. I highly recommend Barbetorium!

Angelina Simmons Maddi have me such an amazing experience at this salon! I wanted partial highlights and knew with having previously box died hair it would be difficult, even taking a couple of sessions but with just one session with her she got me exactly what I wanted! She was so understanding and knew exactly how to go about giving my hair life again, I love this place so much already!

Emily Rowlands Amy and Claire did hair and makeup for my wedding this summer. They did such a great job for everyone in my bridal party and for myself. They are great to work with and I would absolutely go back to them for any event hair/makeup needs.

They were able to add me to their schedule last minute and Heather cut my curls to perfection. I feel bouncy and boing-y. Definitely will be back, I’m so happy!

Elena Viscardi Head Spa Scalp & Hair Treatment Review: This is the only service of its kind in Rochester so it was worth every penny. My hair feels healthier and lighter after one session. My frizzy wavy hair now has a more sleek defined curl due to health restoration. Chi Wah is personable, friendly and happy to share her expertise.

Erika Baker Wow wow wow!! Best service Ive ever had done! I had the scalp treatment head spa service done today with Paige and it beat any massage, shampoo, or pamper service Ive ever had. It was not only great for my scalp and treating my specific needs but was almost 2 hours of non stop scalp and head love!! The stress and tension i carry above my shoulders is a lot and this service was pretty much tailored to relieve and rejuvenate that! Paige was so gentle and never rushed one part of the process. Head massage, scalp brushing, scalp mask, exfoliation, shampoo, steam cap for 40 minutes, brushing and I opted for the blow dry after that. I will 100% be booking again and suggest you do as well! Thank you!!

Rachel McMahon I had very little communication with the owner of the salon but Rachael, my hair stylist was quick to assist! Rachael and her other stylist Shannon were awesome! They were so much fun on the morning of the wedding, dancing and laughing with my bridesmaids and I. My hair trial with Rachael went very well and she was quick to accommodate any requests or questions I had! I never doubted her for a minute on the day. Although my hair did fall towards the end of the wedding due to my hair texture and the rain, it was absolutely beautiful for pictures!

K. Adams Clean place. On time, pleasant service, seem to use nice quality products. The downside is that my blowout was not very good - not really even looking amount of wave/curl all around, seemed like little attention given to areas not right next to my face. Based on a comment made, I have the impression stylist ran out of time and while I was her last client did not take an extra 10 minutes to fix things or communicate. The look (which was very uneven looking walking out) totally fell out of my hair by a few hours later, as well, which has not been an issue in any other blowout Ive had before.

Briana Castillo I’ve been coming to Brandi for over 3 years now and she never disappoints!!! She’s always so welcoming and kind. Brandi takes her time and always leaves my nails looking perfect! The salon is always so cutely decorated and clean. There’s a cute waiting area with coffee/water and other refreshments while you wait as well. Everyone else is always friendly when I am there too! Brandi is the best! Nail tech to BFF! ❤️

Gina Curtiss I highly recommend this salon. I’ve had trouble finding someone to cut, color, and style my hair to my liking for a long time. I found my one! And even if she isn’t available, I know everyone who works here is capable of the same amount of patience, talent, and excellent skill to do it. Natalie is amazing, have known her for years and I think she is a great person all around. I look forward to going to get my hair done and having a day where I can be pampered and chat with an old friend. She literally made something I thought would be impossible look easy and my hair is exactly what I wanted. Cannot recommend enough!

Sav Kell I got my hair done for the first time in months, I worked with Natalie and she was absolutely amazing! Natalie educated me on my hair and showed me proper techniques when styling my hair. They also offer several other services as well such as brow waxing, lashes and hair extensions!

Amy Jo Cody I was at Fringe and Roots for hair color with Marissa during their first week of operation. The salon was very clean and all the stylist and clients were wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. These girls are following all the CDC guidelines and I felt extremely comfortable in the salon. My hair turned out AMAZING and I receive compliments everywhere I go! Welcome to the neighborhood Fringe and Roots!

Amanda Billotti I had such an amazing experience at Fringe + Roots! The owners make you feel so welcome-- from the time I walked in until the time I left I felt comfortable and relaxed. The establishment is hands down so unique and refreshing its a must try beauty house! My six year old daughter loves to get pampered and have mommy and daughter dates, both owners were wonderful with her. Spoke to her the whole time about her hobbies and school while getting her nails and hair done (I love that they made her feel so important and confident). As a mom its important that I feel safe and my child, it was comforting seeing everyone wearing masks + washing everything down! Highly recommend!

David Mirsky I have been getting my hair cut by Toni for 33 years. I always look forward to our appointments and sharing more stories from our three decade long relationship. When my children come back to Rochester for visits, they set aside time just to see Toni and get their haircut! She does a great job professionally and am very happy that she finally decided to open her own shop. The salon is so very warm, cozy and friendly, not to mention the great availability of a multitude of refreshments at customers’ disposal.

Saundra Cole I posted a review previously under Sugarplumpbaby. There was an innocent mix up on the date and time of the appointment. Unfortunately I gave a bad review that was not deserved. The owner reached out to me to reschedule. She was wonderful. I made an appointment for a pedicure and a 90 deep tissue massage. My feet look beautiful and brand new and the massage was heaven. Everything was so good I scheduled another massage for 3 weeks out. For those wondering why I am not posting this from the original email, it is because I have requested for the review to be taken down so I am currently blocked from posting from that account on here.

Brittany Lawrence I love Coldwater Salon & Spa! I have been going there for 10 years now and I get my haircut and color done by Vicki, she is awesome, I love it every time I come home after I just want to got out and flaunt my hair. Never have an issue with her cutting my hair, she knows her stuff. She has styled my hair for my proms as well and I just loved them. I couldnt be happier with anyone else touching my hair. The staff there is just wonderful, sweet and professional. I never have an issue with rescheduling when something comes up. Its just a fun environment to be in. I never a want to go anywhere else!
