Christine Pascuali Over the past couple of months Riverdale Family Dental took the utmost care of my family of five, ages 3-41. From the front desk staff, to the hygienists, to the dentists, we were treated with care and thoughtfulness. Everyone made sure that we were comfortable throughout our visits and the work and reasonings were thoroughly explained. I’ve never had a more pleasant dental experience in my life.

Jessica Torres Dr. Glick and the hygienist Vicenta were amazing. Good at explaining things and made me feel very comfortable. Lets not forget about the front desk they made me feel welcomed and answered all my questions.

Moises Suero I had high anxiety returning to a dental office after previous Bad experiences at other dental offices. Thank God I found This Office, the office is appealing and clean. The staff is professional and was attentive to my concerns. Vicenta was very professional and took the time to explain the process of my dental needs and corrective measures. Vicenta is very knowledgeable and was gentle and did not rush. Thank you.

Lolita Moore I just had the most horrible experience with two implants at the hands of a guest dentist and her assistant. My heart started beating fast, my chest got tight and I had difficulty breathing after she injected a second anesthesia. I asked for oxygen because this happened before with another guest dentist. They did not want to give it to me because they think the symptoms will go away. After a long wait, they finally gave me oxygen and I felt better. They did not want to give me more anesthesia after that and the rest of the procedure was done on low level anesthesia. They told me not to make pain noises because it made them nervous. At one point, my gums started bleeding profusely so I was rinsing it off. The bleeding did not stop. It took a while for them to notice. The dentist placed a gauze over my gums which eventually stopped the bleeding. Then they blamed me for making my gums bleed saying I broke the clot by rinsing. The assistant is upset that I had spilled blood all over the place. She even mentioned that other patients slept through the entire procedure. She said she was missing a party because she had to work later. The way she handled the instruments were as rough as her attitude. I am on diuretic and they did not want me to go pee because I already went twice. She finally allowed me to go which helped with my anxiety. I endured the rest of the procedure in intense pain. I felt the sharp pain of the needle as she sutured my gum. I could not stop the procedure halfway so I tensed up and took the punishment. I was thinking, what did I do to deserve this. All this time, they were blaming me for everything that happened.

Kalyn Regina I just had my first exam and cleaning with Williamsbridge Dental. Tracy did my cleaning. She was very knowledgeable, had such great bedside manner, wasnt too rough, thorough cleaning each tooth/crevice, gave great recommendations with no pressure feeling and most important she did one of the best cleanings I have ever received! Dr. G was also great and warm compared to most dentist I have seen. All of the staff were sweet, easy to talk to and had superb customer servicing! I dont have insurance but they were extremely helpful and we chose a plan that worked well for me. Ive already recommended them as I was stepping out of the office LOL! My boyfriend will be setting up his next appointment! I cannot wait to come back. :)

Cynthia Castro finally found a wonderful dentist and its right in the neighborhood. I forgot the hygienists name but she did such a great job cleaning every single tooth. Dr. Goldens staff are very friendly and welcoming as well. I love how they double check to see if any thing you need is fully covered by insurance so theres no confusion on the price. everything was explained to me very clearly and Dr.G was very welcoming and helpful. will be coming again!

Brenda Cox I recently visited EZ Dental and while the patient care was good, the wait times were absolutely ridiculous. The staff was friendly and professional, making sure I felt comfortable and well-informed throughout my appointment. However, despite my scheduled time, I ended up waiting for over an hour before being seen. It’s incredibly frustrating to spend so much time in the waiting room when you’ve made an appointment. That said, the quality of care I received once I was seen was pleasant. If they can address the issue with wait times, this experience could be much better.

Monique Arzu Smile Dental care is such a lively dental office. You are greeted with a smile. The hygenist Roberta is very nice and did an awesome job with my cleaning. I recommend this dental office. Only thing is that the wait time may be a bit lengthy if you go on Saturday. But overall it’s a very nice office.

Alexandra Robertson I had a rescheduled appointment at 9am. It’s currently 11:41am and I STILL HAVENT BEEN SEEN ! This is my second time calling out of work to get my cavities done. Last week , the doctor was MIA supposedly in the ER. Okay - understandable , life happens. But even with that situation .. once the receptionist was aware , she should have followed up with every patient booked for that day and let them know before time. Instead , everyone came in to be turned around. Now .. here I am a week later , arrived on time & JUST WASTING MY TIME WAITING 2 HOURS just to get a service done.

MOIN SHEIKH Extremely Disappointing Experience – Beware My elderly mother recently visited this dental office for a routine teeth cleaning. Shockingly, the entire “cleaning” was over in less than 5 minutes. When she expressed concern, the staff member became rude and dismissive, even belittling her and telling her that if she didn’t like the service, she could go elsewhere. After she called me, I tried to speak with the staff to understand what had happened. The man I spoke with refused to provide his name and claimed my mother’s teeth were already in good shape, so a longer cleaning wasn’t necessary. I asked to speak to the dentist, and was told the dentist doesn’t speak English and is an “older gentleman.” When I questioned the communication barrier, I was again told we could take our business elsewhere if we weren’t happy. This place used to provide quality care, but it now feels unprofessional and possibly deceptive. It’s deeply concerning that they would bill insurance for a service that was barely performed. I strongly urge others to reconsider before trusting this office with their dental care.

P H When this dental office first open up the staff was great of course, and services were excellent . However, in the past months the services has been unsatisfactory. Forget calling the office no one will barely pick up the phone and most days the dental office is close. I was suppose to get a root canal back in late May but was told they did not have all the correct amount of sticks to do the root canal, and they were waiting on the supplies. Long story short I never received the root canal service although I was told by the receptionist she would call me when supplies came in. In addition, I had to get the tooth pull because I had a tooth infection that slowly spread and had me on antibiotics for weeks.

Aruna Samaroo One of the worst experiences of my life. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The dentist made an appearance literally spoke like a sentence and left. Its clearly just a money grab. The dental hygienist came in and did my cleaning and soaked my clothes and face, I literally couldnt open my eyes. The scratch my gum and rubbed some cleaner and told me to rinse. I have to return to have a crown put in not sure if I want to do that. I wasted 2 hours of my life and still need to schedule a proper cleaning. WASTE OF TIME AND ENERGY!!!! COMPLETE MONEY GRAB!!!

Skylar Alex The bad reviews didn’t lie. The receptionist wasn’t outright rude, but she seemed very distracted—scrolling on her phone as I tried to get her attention. The dentist didn’t look at my x-rays before starting the cleaning, which was rushed and aggressive, even after I told her my teeth and gums were sensitive. She applied a numbing paste, but it felt like that only made her go even harder. The cleaning was so vigorous that water from my mouth kept splashing into my eyes during the cleaning. Then she offered to apply a treatment for $250, saying my insurance wouldn’t cover it. I asked how long it would help with the sensitivity, and she said “2 to 4 hours.” Spending $250 for temporary relief just didn’t make sense, so I declined. After that, she applied the regular toothpaste super quickly and had me out in two minutes. It honestly felt like she was rushing because I didn’t agree to the $250 treatment. When I mentioned I use non-fluoride toothpaste, she told me that’s probably what’s causing my sensitivity. I politely asked, “Do you really think so?” and her response was, “I’m the dentist here. I’ve been doing this for so long.” The tone was belittling but I just laughed it off and said, “You’re right,” because I didn’t want to give her another reason to be rough with my mouth. The office itself is also dark and gloomy—gives off Bates Motel vibes. Safe to say, I won’t be returning

GAIL SCOTT My children and I have been coming here for well over 8 years, and it has been a pleasant experience every time. I wouldn’t go to any other dentist in the Bronx. The receptionist staff at the front are friendly, professional, and always welcoming. Dr.Lee is quick, caring, and thorough. She really cares about our teeth and is not shy about encouraging us to floss!

El Koss I came here just to see if I can use my insurance, and I actually got scheduled an appointment to the very good date for me as I have right schedule. The professionalisn of everyone had me comforted. Although there were many people in the waiting room I was seen in a very quick timely manner which I liked. Also I can highlight a professionalism of my doctor who did amazing job with my case.

Blessing Ibeh The front desk staff Lexi, was very nice, respectful and accommodating. All the staff that came across us were so gentle and nice with patients. My husband and I went there yesterday, he had a bad toothache, no appointment. They figured they had an opening and fit him in. My husband came out dancing with joy and praises to all the staffs especially Dr Merrick & Lexi, because of how nice and gentle they treated him. Thank you so much for helping to put an end to the pain we went through for the past couple of days.

L Y They’ve only received 1 star from me because a rate had to be given, in order for me to write this review. I called this morning, for one of the children under my case load, who has public insurance. When I called, a woman picked up. I politely inquired if they take public insurance, she did not respond and within seconds the phone disconnected. Assuming that was innocent, I call back and the same lady answers. I proceed with, hi I just called and was trying to find out if this dental office takes public insurance, the phone disconnected again and I realize it is because she is hanging up on me. I call back to confront this woman and she answered again, pretends that she cannot hear me and places me on hold. I am currently still on hold, 11 mins in total. She does not intend on coming back to the phone or answering my question. Absolutely disgusting! If the answer is no, this office does not see patients with public insurance, then the answer is no and that is fine and I will proceed with calling other offices. The disrespect is not okay.

Rose Blake My experience with Dr Ilyach has been a pleasant one. As a dentist he explained every step of the way and has answered all my questions when I have them without any issues. Overall I would recommend him and his work and the staff is so lovely and overall Ive had a great experience from beginning to end since starting with this office in 2018

Dr. Boutehsaz is the greatest, and the Dental Technicians are very friendly and professional. Dr. Wang is very good and knowledgeable as well. I also go to the Throgs Neck office, Dr. Boutehsaz has opened. YBD is a very professional, friendly, and caring practice. I highly recommend them.

Loving Jesse (jjkoolloving) When I went there at 11:20am i didn’t get seen until an hour later. And 3 ladies (patients)were complaining while I was there. I found that disturbing. I was going to leave. Fortunately my daughter and Grandson arrived to pick me up. And 10 minutes later I was seen. And once they were finished i seemed rushed out and didn’t have enough time recover from the anesthesia. I had the same procedure done last year at half the price they charged me this time and my medical coverage is the same. They may be biting off more than they can chew at this Oral Surgery Clinic. So this being said the experience was really a half star. Maybe next time it will be a better experience. God bless.

Isis Echevarria Enjoyed my experience. The wait times are pretty long. My appointment was at 10:50AM and I showed up at 10 for any paperwork and X-rays that needed to be done. There’s a sign that says the wait can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. I was patient and brought a book to help kill the time. I got taken to a room at 12:23 and got to see the doctor at 12:30 ish. The surgeon was extremely nice, so was the girl who took my X-rays. I got 2 wisdom teeth removed from my right side. The surgeon answered all my questions, was patient, kind and explained why they don’t recommend doing all 4 teeth or why they don’t do only bottom and then only top teeth, however, still offered to all 4 if it is what I wanted. My procedure literally took like 10 minutes, they sedated me (but not fully asleep, more like a twilight zone) and numbed the area. I didn’t feel a thing and dont really remember much of it. Honestly didn’t feel like he took out two teeth at first. After the procedure, I’m happy I only decided to do two. I can still eat with one side of my mouth while following proper recovery guidelines rather than struggling with everything going directly in the middle. I would say I have a moderate pain tolerance and that the surgeon did pretty good in removing my teeth. There has been some swelling and of course pain, but to me it’s tolerable. The receptionist’s at the front was welcoming, understanding and friendly. She gave me my papers quickly, put them in the system quickly. I did have something’s I needed to pay only because of my insurance and some work I got done recently. They explained why and what I needed to pay. They made me pay immediately which wasn’t a problem. I wasn’t sure if I needed to pay anything or not so I always come prepared and they take Apple Pay. Lastly, the office is small and can get packed, sometimes people might be standing waiting but the seats do open up as they go through patients, but be aware you could be standing for a little while. Overall, good experience here and I will be coming back to get my left side wisdom teeth removed

Calef Ragsdale I have been treated by Dental Oral Surgery twice now. The 1st time went so smooth that I chose them again for my 2nd tooth extraction. Took no longer than 30 minutes from arriving to being done. Excellent work. Would recommend to anyone that needs their teeth out

Ashley Fontanilla So much to say… When I first arrived I did not understand that the location addressed had changed, so I walked into the tax center next door and they clarified the location for me. When you walk in, the place feels like some other private practices, up steep staircases. The office itself is beautiful, bright and glows with cleanliness. At first I was afraid this must be all show. I did arrive a few minutes after my appointment (9am) and filled out an intake form. It wasn’t until 10:20 that I was finally seated and Annmarie came in to assist me a few minutes later. Initially I was displeased with the wait, but Annmarie asked me how I was doing and took the time to get to know my dental situation. I was taken aback and instantly put into a better mood. It shows that they care:) I had my X-rays done a few minutes later and was done by 11am on the dot. In the past I had dental appointments with shorter wait times but the service did not feel as great. This experience was my favorite mostly because of Annmarie and the attentive staff! When I was initially seated the front desk staff checked in on me as well and this all made a difference.

KI 1000 The front staff was nice and the move fast, the I had a few issues. They used X-rays I had from 3 years ago. I thought they were going to give me an X-ray that same day, I mentioned it and the doctor asked where the pain was I told him, but the assistant I had. Her demeanor just rubbed me the wrong way. Short and terse like she was agitated. I take a lot of things into consideration some places really don’t train staff on customer/client services. I expressed how I felt because it made me feel uncomfortable. But everyone else cool, but I’m not feeling this location.

Erica R Had an appt scheduled for 830am. By the time paper work & x-rays were done, I was starting I think a little after 9:30am. I was on my way a little after 10am. Place was clean. Staff was very friendly. I was nervous but they made me feel comfortable and answered all my questions.

denice kelley I showed up for my appointment in April 22 and was barely greeted by the two chatty women at the front. One eventually gave me a clipboard with forms to fill out then I sat and waited a good half hour before being called for X-rays. After the X-rays the dentist Dr. Hosseini came through into the X-ray room to tell me I had one tooth that needed a root canal asap another tooth that was rotted and needed to come out and a possible cavity. He never looked inside my mouth or directly in my face. He then told me to get the root canal and extraction done first and then he will clean my teeth bc it would be a waste of time to clean them now. He the dismissed me to the front with a paper showing a couple of endodontists where I could get the root canal done and sent a prescription for antibiotics and an oral rinse to my pharmacy. I left the office without him or the front door staff saying anything such as have a nice day. I have since found a Dental College with clean, state of the art rooms and every student professor and dentist, tech and receptionist has been 100% customer service approved by me. They of course wanted to see any previous X-rays and I did contact Cohen Dental to try and obtain those X-rays but no response yet. I now know for a fact that those X-rays are only approved by my insurance every three years and any others I will more than likely pay out of pocket for. I believe Cohen dental owed me at least a cleaning and exam before showing me out the door once they submitted a request for guaranteed payment for taking those X-rays. Despite hearing a personal acquaintance’s experience before going there to Gentle Dental, I tried to be open minded and fair. First impressions count and I would never recommend this Medicaid scamming dental office to anyone. Have a good day!

Mayelin De Los Santos This office caused me an anxiety attack due to their lack of care for my time and energy. To start off the doctor for implants was late 1hr. 10min, when I had previously been told I was the first patient. Upon his arrival not even an apology for lateness. Instead telling me to stop roaming around when he caused me to become anxious. Then I was offered nitrogen to calm down, 20 minutes come and go, nobody could get the machine started. It was heart breaking to see a whole bunch of incompetent people trying to turn a machine on without results. You’d think that after having to pay so much money for implants, you’d at least get good service or at least professionals that have the best interest for patients, not here. Spoke to manager who just made excuses for the team. I’ve had a lot of dental experiences this have been the worst of my life. Had to leave with a numb mouth, 2 hrs wasted, $250 consultation wasted, withdraw loan, loss of energy, and cause of emotional distress. Negative stars are deserved !!

AlanaSoDifferent today at dental specialties of New York, I was assisted by Mrs. Heather, for a consultation because four wisdom teeth need to be taken out! And I can honestly say that she has made me confident enough to come back and get all four pulled out without being put to sleep! I will definitely highly recommend this dentist office to anyone!

Karen Martinez Dr. B is my son dental pediatrics he is a great doctor i’ve been coming here since my son was seven years old. He is 10 No complaints. If I can give him more than five stars I would. On the other hand, all the staff here are great, except for the women Dentist I do not like the way she works.
