I remember when I first started seeing Dr. de Chavez eight years ago that I was quite ashamed of my teeth because I had had a good deal of work done. He put me at ease by acknowledging that I cared about my teeth and the work had been done timely as an indicator of that, as well as the fact that I was there for a check up. That made me feel better about my teeth which over the years has translated into me taking more pride in the updates that I get each time I visit. I had a cleaning today and was happy that the feedback was to brush a little bit more in one area. We’ve come a long way since the days when I was being reminded that I needed to floss every single day. I always feel incredibly cared for and valued by the dentist, the dental hygienists, and the administrative staff. I love my dentist and his office and you would be so lucky if you could get an appointment.

However he was very pleased with the dentist and the hygienist, and even agreed to go back every three months for more cleanings. He said the cleaning was thorough but didn’t cause any gum bleeding as when done elsewhere.

Bianca Jeanniton Yesterday was my first visit at Bella Smile and it was amazing. The staff were kind and sweet. The office was very clean and updated. I have always been skeptical about going to a new dentist office but they definitely made me feel comfortable and their chairs were amazing. The chairs massage your back which makes you feel relaxed and let’s not forget about the TV. You can watch TV while getting a cleaning!!! The dentist was very informative and patient. She was very gentle I highly recommend her. Overall my experience was great. I’m excited to say I can’t wait till my next appointment!

Erica Nevin Overall great experience. I had my wisdom teeth removed and Dr. Cardo is great at what he does and explains exactly whats happening with your teeth and the procedure. The procedure actually went better than hoped because my bottom wisdom teeth were loose after the crown cutting so they were able to be removed. I healed great, no complications and mild pain whenever I did have some pain but it was more soreness. Ive been there 3 times, initial consultation, procedure, and follow up and the wait time has not been long at all i want to say under 10 minutes. Rest of the staff is very nice and office is clean. Already recommended to a friend who needs the same procedure

Dee The most unprofessional dental office I’ve ever been to. Never got a call to confirm my appointment a day before. I had to call myself. Go to my appointment after waiting a month plus an additional month for an approval from my insurance for then to arrive today, have me sit on the chair and be told I was going to be charged for the pre work before my root canal. Ridiculous. **I got receipt of NO TEXT/CALL/EMAIL confirming the appointment and I also called informing I was arriving late. NOT ONCE was I ever told I was going to pay out of pocket nor written or verbal. Waiting to have someone on the chair isn’t the right time.** As for someone who has been in the medical/dental industry with office experience…go bs someone else.

Jiahao Liu Went in for a basic cleaning/xray as a first time patient as my previous dentist does not accept my new insurance. Pro: accepts my insurance and was able to schedule me the next day for an appointment. Friendly front desk staff. Appreciate the text reminders of my appointment. Cons: I understand their policy of $75 for a missed appointment but it is listed in multiple places in the waiting area and also in the procedural room. Bit of an overkill and in your face to be honest, does not feel welcoming. As it is also reminded to you in text. The cleaning was very basic compared to my experience from my previous dentist office. Seemed rushed and when I went home I flossed my teeth because they did not do so and found some food. Not an expert but I don’t think after a “cleaning” that my teeth are not clean. Interaction with hygienist and dentist after cleaning was plain. Under a minute of conversation, did not review my xray or have much input. Bedside manner lacking for my own personal preference and experience, as their care was already lacking.

Gabi I’ve been going to this office for over 2 years now and they have some of the best service I’ve seen compared to any other dentist office. I needed an emergency tooth repair due to a piece of my tooth breaking off. Doctor Roman was amazing! He made sure to accommodate for my sensitive teeth by giving extra numbing cream. He was very quick with the whole process-I was out within 30 minutes. Highly recommend this place to anyone who lives here locally. I personally drive over 30 minutes to this dentist.

Rj Mula Phenomenal is an understatement. I called in an Hour before the offices closed as an emergency patient. Was having extreme pain and just knew I needed an extraction. Ann at the front desk was very informative on pricing and financial aid as far as payment options and financing . Great environment on the walk in very clean and inviting. As Kim came in the room to assist me she was beyond friendly and very informative did nothing made me feel so comfortable which was a blessing the fact that I was getting ready for an extraction. Dr. Roman went above and beyond the whole staff stayed after hour just to make sure I was okay . As a patient there’s nothing more you can ask for from a dental office .

A Baggely I really thought I finally found the perfect dental office.The dentist here, Dr. Kim, she is amazing. However, in the last few months phones are not being answered. Holds last over 5 minutes. Appointments are scheduled and when you arrive they tell you your new appointment time that they did not discuss with you (but how could they when they arent answering calls and leaving people on hold?) Looks like I am going to have to start searching for a new dental office yet again.....

De La Rua I went for a dental cleaning. The wait was long, and the dentist was a bit rude, as were the people at the front desk. I needed a filling and I have a cavity in one of my teeth. However, the person at the front desk told me they wouldnt have any appointments for the treatment for a long time. She told me If I wanted it, I should find another dental center. I paid for the cleaning with a credit card when I checked in, but they ask me how I wanna pay me again when I when I about to leave. It was a total mess. The first time I went there I love the service,but today Im very disappointed By the way the cleaning they did it today was good.

Shaleza Dezil I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience at Total Dentistry Care in Kew Gardens. I went in today for a simple tooth extraction, but the woman assisting me kept pushing me to get a dental bridge instead—something I never requested. She claimed she needed to “calculate everything to give us a good discount,” but in reality, she was trying to pressure us into getting the bridge today. When we insisted we only wanted the extraction, she refused to proceed unless we agreed to pay for the bridge as well. We were made to feel trapped and manipulated, and she wouldn’t let us leave until we physically got up to walk out. As a result, I still haven’t had the tooth extracted. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable—no one should be denied care because they don’t want to be upsold. I absolutely do not recommend this office. DO NOT COME HERE. They will pressure you to do something you absolutely have no money for when you simply come to do something in an emergency situation and not want anything to do with you after you refuse the service they want for you. I dont care to lie there are multiple reviews that state the same thing once you keep looking at the reviews. This place left me to suffer with a broken tooth because I didnt want to pay or take out a loan for bridges.
