Louis Semenoro I went to Battisti’s for a haircut after letting my hair grow completely wild over the last year. The staff members were incredibly welcoming. My stylist was also very helpful in our discussion of what hairstyle I wanted, even though I didn’t know how to describe it. I received a fantastic haircut and now I have an amazing new look for the new year. I’m also visiting from out of town and forgot my regular skincare products hundreds of miles away. Oops! The Rochester winter weather was leaving my skin as dried out as a mummy and as rough as sandpaper. I was recommended a bundle of high quality skincare products and now my face feels super fresh and moisturized. Thank you to the incredible staff at Battisti’s for all your help! I will definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town.

Haley Sims A few weeks ago I had my very first and wonderful experience at Battisti’s. I chose a 90 minute massage and dare I say that it was the best one I’ve ever had. So much so that at the end up my appointment I booked every other week for the next 3 months. A few days after that, I booked a facial with Lora. I had my facial yesterday and I am glowing! I also got a last minute massage that opened up!! My skin has never felt so rejuvenated and supple. Lora even wrote me a prescription plan for my skin with products for my needs. My skin felt so good that I had to take Lora’s expert opinion on the products I should use and left with everything she recommended. I highly recommend Battisti’s to anyone looking for services head to toe! The environment is warm, inviting, relaxing, very tidy and cleanly. The staff feels like a team of healers that genuinely care about your well being. Thank you all for taking such good care of me now and in the future ♥️

Ava Magee ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m so thankful I found Yenny! She took me on short notice and went above and beyond my expectations. She did exactly what I wanted, and my hair looks amazing! The salon was spotless, everyone was so friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Also, the hair wash was absolutely amazing—the lady who washed my hair deserves five stars too! I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Highly recommend Yenny and her team—they’re incredible!

rebecca mastro My husband Michael purchase a groupon deal for a haircut and color as a surprise for me. I am very cautious about who does my hair but Im thrilled this experience happened! Erica Hastings did a fantastic job! Looks just like the pictures I showed her. Shes very professional and a stellar stylist! I just booked another appointment with her to do my root touch up & highlights for next week. Highly recommend Erica shes a master colorist and stylist. I would give her 10 stars but the system only allows for 5. She commutes daily to this salon to work her magic from Buffalo/Williamson area. What a dedicated and talented professional. Shes the best! Sara Nicholson I had a great experience this morning with Pure Bliss Salon and Spa. I scheduled a last minute appointment online and felt very welcomed by the staff. I had Julie do a scalp treatment and trim of my hair. Now it feels great and looks good! I will definitely be back for another treatment in the near future!

Gifted and knowledgeable. I flew into town for a business meeting and a conference. She was flexible and adjusted to meet my intense schedule. I received several compliments. She helped me feel fierce and confident during my business meeting. She accentuated my natural beauty. My makeup and curled hair lasted 12 hours. I highly recommend!

Symphony Ross I love beauty castle, I’ve been getting service from Deepa since she was in Namaste grocery store.. my main person is Nabaa, she always does a perfect job (which is impressive because my eyebrows aren’t easy to do).. overall Deepa and Naaba are both amazing, can’t go wrong with neither.

Rachel McMahon I had very little communication with the owner of the salon but Rachael, my hair stylist was quick to assist! Rachael and her other stylist Shannon were awesome! They were so much fun on the morning of the wedding, dancing and laughing with my bridesmaids and I. My hair trial with Rachael went very well and she was quick to accommodate any requests or questions I had! I never doubted her for a minute on the day. Although my hair did fall towards the end of the wedding due to my hair texture and the rain, it was absolutely beautiful for pictures!

K. Adams Clean place. On time, pleasant service, seem to use nice quality products. The downside is that my blowout was not very good - not really even looking amount of wave/curl all around, seemed like little attention given to areas not right next to my face. Based on a comment made, I have the impression stylist ran out of time and while I was her last client did not take an extra 10 minutes to fix things or communicate. The look (which was very uneven looking walking out) totally fell out of my hair by a few hours later, as well, which has not been an issue in any other blowout Ive had before.

Briana Castillo I’ve been coming to Brandi for over 3 years now and she never disappoints!!! She’s always so welcoming and kind. Brandi takes her time and always leaves my nails looking perfect! The salon is always so cutely decorated and clean. There’s a cute waiting area with coffee/water and other refreshments while you wait as well. Everyone else is always friendly when I am there too! Brandi is the best! Nail tech to BFF! ❤️

Saundra Cole I posted a review previously under Sugarplumpbaby. There was an innocent mix up on the date and time of the appointment. Unfortunately I gave a bad review that was not deserved. The owner reached out to me to reschedule. She was wonderful. I made an appointment for a pedicure and a 90 deep tissue massage. My feet look beautiful and brand new and the massage was heaven. Everything was so good I scheduled another massage for 3 weeks out. For those wondering why I am not posting this from the original email, it is because I have requested for the review to be taken down so I am currently blocked from posting from that account on here.

Brittany Lawrence I love Coldwater Salon & Spa! I have been going there for 10 years now and I get my haircut and color done by Vicki, she is awesome, I love it every time I come home after I just want to got out and flaunt my hair. Never have an issue with her cutting my hair, she knows her stuff. She has styled my hair for my proms as well and I just loved them. I couldnt be happier with anyone else touching my hair. The staff there is just wonderful, sweet and professional. I never have an issue with rescheduling when something comes up. Its just a fun environment to be in. I never a want to go anywhere else!

Lisa I’ve been bringing my young daughter to get her hair done here for the last year and it never disappoints. Ms. Saarai is very gentle with my daughter’s hair and it is always healthy. The people and owner of the salon are so nice and welcoming. I can always count on the clean environment and friendly faces. I even fit my hair done here too since it also services adults and would go back in a heartbeat.

Coach Ebony Nicole Smith I am in total pleasure with the outcome of my new haircut. After I failed to properly care for my color treated hair, I went to Carly, the owner of the salon, and requested a bigchop. I was a bit afraid to do it because the last time I had a short haircut was over 10yrs ago and it was relaxed. Being natural, I wasnt sure how I would fair, but all of my fears went away when I sat in her chair and then she removed my hair wrap. She talked to me about the current status of my hair and how she would fix it. And she did just that. We changed the color to jet black, which pops against my brown skin. She asked me if I wanted lines in it, which I excitedly said, "Yes! Lets do it!" The lines on the side really added a boost of flare to my cut. Since debuting my new cut on March 30th, Ive received sooooo many compliments from family, friends and strangers. And I mention it was done by Carly from Texture Beauty. Listen, I dont know how long I will keep the cut, but I do know that I have fallen in love with my hair all over again. I highly recommend you go see the ladies at Texture Beauty to help change your hair from dull to spectacular! Thank ya, Carly! You freed me with this cut.

Tiffany McClain I went here cause my hair was coming out. I had a consult with Carly. She advised me of my options. Went the next day very nervous and to my surprise she did a great job an reassured me that my hair will be healthy now and grow back. Thank you for making me feel comfortable.

Meghan Murdock I have been looking for the right salon since I moved to Rochester 2 years ago and wasn’t happy so far - but I am SO GLAD I found Nota and Libby!! I had an absolutely amazing experience getting the best cut and color I’ve had in years. She took the time to do a full consult with me as a new client before my appointment and it came out fantastic. The salon is beautiful and relaxing, feels so luxury with great lattes and a tech bar. Look forward to being a regular for my hair!

Molly Hazelton Lib is the best ever! I first went to her for a haircut in October and I’ve been going back to her ever since. It was my first haircut in 3 years and she did SUCH a good job! She’s so easy to talk to and makes you feel so comfortable. Everybody else at the salon is so sweet! And their lattes are an added bonus (they’re delicious)! Highly highly highly recommend!

Megan Davis I have been getting my lashes and brow wax/tint done by Charity for a long time now and she is hands down the best around!! I recommend her to literally everyone and I won’t go anywhere else. I never leave disappointed and I still look fabulous between appointments. She always let me know what she was doing prior to doing it, explained why and also made conversation. angela borrego This salon is my one and only. The shop is very neat, clean, and well maintained with sweet staff. This environment is very positive and welcoming for new clients and regulars. I first met my technician Brittany at their grand opening event and scheduled both a facial and wax with her. She did an amazing job on my facial and customized it to target my trouble areas. From then on out I fell in love with her service. She is the first and only person to ever wax me and she made the experience very comfortable and painless. Brittany also does my lash extensions in which she perfects every time and really puts her all into them. Although, their entire team is great at the services that they provide and collectively they are all what makes this shop so great. Definitely worth the trip and the money!

Shelly Manning I WAS a repeat customer. Same stylist. Had to pay a down payment to HD my appointment. I get there on time. I get 6 braids done and she asks if she can finish another client real quick. I thought..real quick...sure. why not? She proceeded to do a different clients whole head. So instead of taking my deposit for the couple braids she did do or even apologizing, she proceeded to waiste the hair that I bought and cut it out. And say have a good day. NEVER AGAIN DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Elena Minter 3 years ago- The appointment was for my child and she is tender headed and had a lot of issues but came out lovely. However my child said she would not want to return again. She got a relaxer with a silk press.

Leidee 2RizeUp Shelia and Tiffany are amazing. They will take care of you & your hair, without wasting your time. My daughter and I both get our hair done here. Good location for me, enough parking spaces even with the other surrounding businesses.

Zahyia Z Love Anarsha! I have 4 daughters and 0 time. I send all of my girls there. She does everything from braids for my 3 year old twins to twist outs and color highlights for my TWA. I love that she stays up on the latest styling trends and haircare information so she always has great suggestions for me and my daily maintenance routines. The Slay Beauty Bar atmosphere is also very relaxing and classy. I feel like I can escape from life for awhile whenever I get my hair done there. Love it....and so do my 4 daughters.

Tahia Odom Horrible experience, braider didn’t show to the appointment after telling me to purchase the braiding hair. When I called her, she said she forgot about the appointment and would head over. Waited 30 minutes with no sign of her. Then a different braider came out and alerted me that there was an incident in the building and there would be broken glass on the floor, when I go inside. She also mentioned that she hadn’t contacted all of the stylist about this, and the braider I had (Ziare) wasn’t here when this happened and wasn’t aware of the incident and that this was not why she wasn’t there. The appointment had to be canceled, and I was still charged for the deposit, and already paid $80 for the hair she recommended. Be very wary of booking with them.

Melinda Kreter So many wonderful things to say about The Beauty Theory. I’ve been coming for years and regularly see Juli for my facials, Brooke for my eyebrows/lashes and Jackie for my hair. The new location was beautifully redone and always feels welcoming, clean and relaxing. Juli is a master at what she does. I went through a period of hormonal acne and she saved my skin. She came up with a customized plan for me and over the course of half a year (it’s never a quick fix with acne), my skin has almost fully healed. She’s always kind and makes thoughtful recommendations. Brooke has been doing my (and now my daughters) brows and lash lifts for 7 years and always does an amazing job. I will forever recommend her to anyone who is looking for a brow/lashes service. Jackie is a skilled hair stylist. She is always friendly and caring, offers guidance on things after I give her an idea of what I’m looking for and is quick to respond when I need an appointment. Rochester is lucky to have a place like this!

Leigh Ann Borrelli When I wanted to enhance my brows from what I already had, I decided to have a consult with Kim F. I explained what I was looking for and that I wanted an enhanced look but in the most natural way. I left my consult feeling excited and booked my appointment! When it came time for my actual appointment, Kim went through all the steps, explained everything she was doing and what I would be feeling/seeing, etc. I trusted the microblading process (from the moment I left, the aftercare treatment, daily maintenance, etc.) and my brows look amazing! I highly recommend seeing Kim to enhance your brows/look!

Rachael Senecal Absolutely LOVE my eyebrows!! This is my fourth time having them microbladed (first with Kim F) and I will definitely be returning to her. Nothing is better than paying for a service and ending up with a friend. Kim is one of those people who takes the time to truly listen and not judge.

Chyna Odum I spent my money so I’m going to be honest. (First time customer) booking a certain appointment time doesn’t seem to matter. For a hair style that took her two hours and maybe 30 minutes I was there for 5 hours. I stated my scalp was sensitive and as a hair dresser you make recommendations or you move accordingly to that persons information being told. Well my hair in the burnt spots are stuck. Lol or the fact I was told by the assistant not to ask the hair dresser how long will she be after sitting for 2 hours past my appointment time because “she’ll get upset”. Or being the third person there to being the last person to leave after 3 ppl came in after me lol. Never again. She gave me candy though.

Karl Young There are a couple of stylist in the salon. I always make an appointment with the owner. Her work is truly amazing. She does a full detailed consultation before touching your hair. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is great.
