Sara Whaley Super nice staff really lovely people. They unfortunately have zero idea how to cut curly hair and now i have a mushroom cut i need to pay to have fixed. I asked if they knew how to cut curly hair multiple times and they said yes but they do not.

Sharon Mills Debut got me in next day for an Appointment. I went in with black hair and wanted a lighter brown. They did their magic and did a Beautiful job of doing what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this salon. They know what there doing and are very friendly there.

Nathaniel Harrington Danielle did an amazing job making the gals of the wedding party look voluminously fabulous with Updos & blowouts. The stylist who did all their makeup & lashes gave them a shine resistant natural look for photos. I highly recommend this studio for any special occasion!

roberta musci John is an artist. His ability to weave blended colors of highlights is perfection. I have very curly growing out white hair. His technique gave me a modern, fun transition. My deva curl products do the rest.

Cathy Ling LOVE John and how knowledgeable he is! He has always worked to achieve whatever look I want. He will also tell me if something will not work with my hair or face shape. He does a great job of highlighting my hair. It always looks natural and healthy after a visit with John. I have been going to get my hair done with John for over 20 years now! Cant imagine anyone else doing my hair!

Kayleigh Falconio Loved it here so much!!! Shelby was super kind, cut and layered my hair perfectly. Sometimes my wavy/curly hair can be unruly and hard to comb/brush and Im always scared cause some hair dressers will just hack through it, but she was very nice and knew exactly how to treat my hair. Im so very happy with my first time here, I will be back!! She also did my hair quick, blow dried through and straightened it which I havent seen my crazy hair straightened in ages so it was so awesome to see my hair like that again. Definitely felt brand new even if I only got a small cut/layers, everything was perfect. The building Desire Hair Designs sits in I never knew existed before my visit! But inside the Hair Salon is so beautiful and makes you feel like royalty in a way, haha. Thank you again!!

Ginger Studt I had the absolute worst hair color experience of my life just before my sons wedding. I went back a week later for her to "fix" the nightmare color and she only made it worse. I had to go to another salon to have it fixed the day before the wedding it was so horrible. Never again.

Erin Moore The assistant hairdresser did an excellent job on my hair and was very patient. She also wore a mask. However I felt very uncomfortable here because the majority of the people in the space were not wearing masks. I did not feel safe here and will not support this business again, even after the pandemic subsides.

Sue M Update, the owners response to this review is a lie! Her original response was nasty and mean and tried to turn it around on me, that it was my fault she cant cut hair. I can show anyone my credit card statement that I was there. Horrible, horrible, horrible!! Worst haircut Ive ever gotten! Its choppy, uneven, there isnt even any style to it. It looks like she started one style then did another. I have long pieces hanging on the sides below the rest of my hair. It honestly looks like a child cut it. My only hope is it grows out fast enough to have some else fix it. First and last time Ill ever go there.

Ashley Kilbride I absolutely loved how my hair turned out. I was in town visiting a friend and decided to see if there was any salons near by that could take me last min. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. I’m so glad I went! The owner did my hair and she did exactly what I wanted. My highlights came out perfect. We chatted for a while and she’s super fun and nice! The space was open and clean and I loved how she used Olaplex products on my hair since it’s my favorite brand. I will definitely make an effort to come here again when I’m in town.

Joanne Taylor Natalie has been doing my cut and color for over 20 years. She continually trains, with Redken, to make sure shes up-to-date on color and hair cutting techniques, as well as the latest hair styles. She is always pleasant and professional. And funny. Shes very funny. The person who said shes crazy must have done something pretty bad to her.

Dobie Hawks How does any one get an appointment? Their phone currently doesnt work and no one seems to be here when Ive called in the past. I did have someone call me back once a couple of years ago but no one was available for days to do it. Im really surprised this place has any clientele at all based on the hours theyre open and the willingness of the staff to perform work.

Emma Blondin I recently had the pleasure of getting eyelash extensions by Elizabeth Cody, and I must say, the service was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. Libby is incredibly skilled, taking the time to ensure that every lash was perfectly placed. I’ve had my lashes done a few times and they have never stayed on better!! If you’re considering eyelash extensions, I highly recommend Elizabeth Cody. It’s worth every penny for the confidence boost and the beautiful, lashes!

Molly Fitscher The place is adorable and conveniently located. All the girls I have run into there are incredibly nice. Catelyn is the one stop shop for me, she is such a sweet and amazing human being. Ive had my lashes lifted and tinted, and custom facial done by her. She is so meticulous and pays attention to all the details within her services such as using aromatherapy.

Shaniece Trammell I have been going to see Amanda since before she owned her own Salon. I started having her do my hair since 2017. She is truly amazing! I have moved all over and still make the drive to see her. It used to be an hour now it is 4hrs one way to get to my appointment and Im never disappointed she is beyond talented and has created a lovely family atmosphere at her salon with gifted and caring young Ladies and Gentlemen. A Pretty Parlor will never stear you wrong : )

abra lafontaine I would highly recommend going here for colors and mens cuts!!! Nichole(Nikki) was amazing, she really tries her best to make sure you have the best hair color and cut wise. She took her time to perfect the colors I got done (purples) and asked many questions to see how I liked it. I will be going back for sure!!!

Leslie Balch Asked for a pixie cut, but it’s uneven and I’m missing chunks of hair that she buzzed off around my ears. I have to wear a hair band to hide the bald spots around my ears until my hair grows back. I do not recommend coming here and I never will again! I’m glad my hair grows fast! Unprofessional as well. All I wanted was my haircut. I didn’t want to hear about the girl’s life problems.

xocourtrlox I have been going to this hair studio one for a few years now and usually have no issues. However this passed time a stylist Kelly was working and she was rude and kept telling me my long hair was going to make her run behind. I went there for a full color and paid for a full color but only got my roots done. She seemed awfully upset she actually had to work. Thankfully the manager Kati fixed my hair without a hitch. She’s always friendly and really knows hair.

Lisa DeMaria I had my beautiful cascading curly / wavy hair cut here in December. I walked upon this salon while looking at kitchenware- SHOULD HAVE BEEN RED FLAG NUMBER 1. I asked the 2 women at the desk if there was someone there very good with curly hair. They said YES! One girl escorts me to her station takes my hair down and was like oh this is longer than i thought- RED FLAG NUMBER 2!!!!! I SHOULD HAVE RUN AWAY AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. Instead I let her continue because I thought my hair anxiety was making me nervous! She starts cutting and Im explaining how I LOVE my hair and how i ONLY let my Westchester County cousins cut it because they own and work in their salons! I told her Ive got some cuts that were too short and horrible- so you probably know where this is headed. While she was washing my hair, I tried making conversation, and I noticed her mumbling under her breath. This was a little weird and freaked me out but again- This is a difficult thing for me to do so I was TRYING to trust the process. I wasnt very confident when I saw her cuts she was doing- and then I noticed there was a LOT of hair on the floor (even though I specifically said I did not want to lose the length- but do need to clean this up from split ends and damage). she had loaded me up with product after doing the cut and then parted my hair down the middle like she was done. I thought 1- the part was AWFUL and extremely unflattering and I was embarrassed looking at myself in the mirror. I quickly flipped it over and saw how I COULD NOT because its so short now. I unfortunately now DO have a center part- where I NEVER DID BEFORE. I look ridiculous. If you compare my current pics to my past pics- you will see the mess she made. Its all different lengths- very short right in the front, too long in one spot where i blow dryed it out bc i was so embarrassed, and you see a longer section! It poofs out like a freaking BROOM. Its the only way I can describe this BS "chop" she did. Its the worst haircut I ever had- and I waited 5 years for this cut! Ive been self trimming at home- and while not perfect? I had the self esteem, and hair anybody would PAY FOR. Now, I want to smash all my mirrors and glass in the house LITERALLY bc I am DISGUSTED to see myself. They refunded me for the cut- but I am so irate. I WILL NEVER RETURN and have advised my friends, family, and everyone I meet, about my experience there. DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE AND THEN RUIN THEIR IMAGES!!!!! SERIOUSLY! I can not believe this person is doing haircuts and I feel like a fool for having this done there! Honestly, I was better off having NO hair cutting skills trimming my own hair with paper scissors at my house. I suggest you do the same before ever going here. I will post pictures from my phone if Im able to come back to edit this. But I am really depressed over this, and would not like to see people I know until this grows out again. Very Very VERY unprofessional cut. The manager said she had experience and would like to fix it for me- but truth is, unless they can give me the moment before she started cutting back- I will not be satisfied. My goal is to advise people that there are far better salons with trained and passionate professionals, who arent upset that you have "longer hair" or require more care than another client. Get real, or get a different job. I dont think they realize how this is absolutely RUINING my life looking like this.

Melissa Lanfear Went in for a cut and highlight and ended up only getting a highlight because of the amount of time it took. Did a good job on the color No complaints there. Im Giving only a Four star-rating because of the amount of time it took... way longer than it normally does and the price for just a half head of highlights With no cut was extremely high

Steve Moss Not good. Silly haircuts. I have never fixed a haircut myself but I fixed my sons and my hair after. I thought she forgot to blend it in but seems unlikely since we both had the same shaved to full length look. Shaved to the part is fine, but I had about half an inch on top then like two inches on the side right into a 1/8" shave and the same on the back of my sons head. We had a good laugh about it and it was easily fixable at home and looks good enough now to leave the house.

Candee Wall With COVID still going on they are extremely Professional and very very clean they only allow so many people in there at a time they’re very strict with the rules very amazing place to go and get your hair done. And the staff is amazingly friendly
