Clean salon: make sure that she cleans the scissors ,the brush before uses it,the whole salon clean ! Environment :pleasant and great price! $20! I highly recommend it.

This was my second visit to the salon—my first was for a haircut by Gabriel, which I loved. Rosanna, who did my treatment this time, was absolutely fantastic—personable, skilled, friendly, and clearly an expert in her craft. I highly recommend this wonderful place and will definitely be returning without hesitation!

Sophie Lancaster I had a fantastic experience at Numi Salon with Donna! My hair was fuzzy, damaged, and full of greys, and she brought it back to life. Donna did a root touch-up and balayage exactly the way I asked—natural, soft, and perfectly blended. She really listened to what I wanted and delivered amazing results. Bushra Mollick I came from the BRONX to see Sweety! She is by far one of the kindest, most polite, passionate eyebrow specialists Ive ever met. Sweety takes her time understanding your shape, and her threading skills are practically painless. Her light eye massage after will put you to sleep. I highly recommend her!!!

Edgar Machado Freddy and his brother Willie are excellent and experienced and credentialed barbers. Ive been going to them for years and always receive compliments on my haircuts. I tend to change styles often from low cesars to fades to tape ups and during the winter when I grow my hair longer theyre able to give me a more gel styled look. Both are fluent in Spanish and English. Ive found my barbers for life.

Alexandra Castano Love, Will & Freddy (Barbers) which I know them before been at Vilmas, my husband loved they work as Im too because I have very short hair. I really recommend it but I also recommen to make appointment at head of time.

-ZokZok - Not a bad place to get a haircut but the customer service is extremely unprofessional. I am not a new client and I was given an appointment time for the haircut but when I arrived there was another client in the chair. I was told to wait a few minutes. The few minutes turned into 15, 30, 45 and I just left since it looked like the other client was still nowhere close to being done. I wasted an hour of my time, and left with no haircut. In my opinion this is a highly unprofessional way to treat your loyal clients and i will not set my foot in this place again.

Kegel Candy (SweetNurse) I’m so happy to have answered an ad for a promotion that Mia was having on lashes. She’s a true professional and amazing at what she does. I’m a traveling nurse so from now on while I’m in NY I will absolutely come to her for my lashes! Very personable, kind and her lashes have staying power!!! They truly last a long time before falling off with normal everyday care and wear of course. I wish you the best as you expand your business Mia!!

KIMBERLY DUNHAM I love Ashley. Ive been going to her for a year and I love the result. My hair was thin and damaged now its strong and healthy. She takes her time and is always there whenever I have a question. Her braid less sew in is the best. Very natural!!!!

Nnennaya Walker I don’t usually write reviews but I feel as though this is necessary. I went in last weekend for a lift and color correction and left with tears streaming down my face. When Stephanie Vega began working on my hair, I asked if I would have time get a gel manicure and pedicure and the hairstylist said “yes! of course” underestimating the time she would take on my hair. The nail tech began taking off my gel pedicure that was still in very good condition and I was left in slippers for a few hours. Long story short, I did not have any down time to get my gel pedicure done and I was left with unfinished work. As for my hair, the hair stylist began bleaching my hair without doing a test strand first. Once she finished bleaching my hair, she touched up the roots, and washed my hair. Then, proceeded by adding a toner and washing my hair one last time. My hair was ready for styling and the hair stylist said it was absolutely necessary for me to cut my hair so she chopped off 3 inches. She then proceeds to by blowdrying my hair. Once she finishes, she starts adding her finishing touches of hair products and states she is done. I took one look at the mirror and immediately started crying hysterically at how terrible my hair came out. My roots were curly, hair frizzy, hair cut very choppy, and an uneven tone and blotchiness to my hair. In exchange, the hair stylist offered me a shot of alcohol… I ended up doing my own hair at the salon and having to use a brown box dye on my hair the following day. My experience was horrific.. For a hairstylist who went to school for this, you should know your limits. 3 weeks later… I was contacted by the owner and was told in exchange for deleting this post, Michelle would do my hair personally as she has 40 years of experience. Customer satisfaction is not their top priority. There is always good and bad when running a business, the bad shouldn’t be swept under the rug. I hope this post can help those who are looking to go to the best salon. I have since then done my hair elsewhere.

Andrea Sanchez When I came to synergy it was actually my first time ever coloring my hair!! I was so nervous at the beginning but right from the consultation I knew I was in good hands! Michelle is so sweet and I could easily tell not only does she deeply care about her work but she loves what she does, and it’s because of that passion that her work is impeccable!! The staff was so sweet as well, very kind and welcoming!! I definitely will be returning and I highly recommend synergy ❤️

Eva Pearls Update: I did my Bayalage with Rocilia and it was honestly one of the best decisions Ive made . Ive been doing the Keratin there for a while with Claudia, but I am pleased to say that Rocilia who is the owner is very very good at hair color. I really enjoyed my experience today. I recommend the salon the ladies are very nice, very experienced and knowledgeable. The prices are very fair and Im happy.

Elizabeth Hansbury What a wonderful surprise!! Called to have a Keratin Treatment last minute on a Saturday. The entire staff could not have been more helpful to schedule me in for the appointment. The whole experience was delightful - a great group of people and funny!!

Mel Bethel Rocilia is Dope! Claudia is less experienced, but does a decent job w.wash/blow. The salon specializes in Keratin treatments, weaves, and Bridal/Bridal Party Styling. Rocilia, the owner, is Super sweet and highly recommended.

Diana Drysdale Anthony is the absolute best at what he does! I’ve been getting my hair cut short/pixie cut for the past 4 years now by him! My family has been going to HairBiz for over 20 years! My visits are always amazing; great conversations & quality products used!

Shameka Loney Ive known of Anthony as a familiar face around White Plains before a friend referred me to him after expressing to them my hair needs. After being natural for a few years, he really knows how to treat my unprocessed hair. The salon experience is heightened because he caters to one client at a time. Which sets Anthony apart from other stylists, who tend to maximize their time by doing many clients at once. He knows that it is truly quality over quantity that matters.

My hair was blown out so bad that some parts of my hair were not even blow dry? I had a wedding to go to that night and I had to redo my entire hair. Never again. 70 dollars down the drain.

Stephanie Paute HORRIBLE DONT COME HERE THEY MESSED UP MY HAIR AND CHARGED ME $160 THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO NOT COME HERE! The man that did my hair obviously didn’t know what he was doing and was really defensive about his work and made me and my cousin feel like we were dumb and that we didn’t know what we were talking about when it came to hair. I came for copper hair all over and this isn’t it. This is ridiculous and I went somewhere else to fix his mistake.

Leette Eaton-White The nail salon portion if the business is inconsistent at best. The first time I went here the service was good. Simple gel manicure. The second time I requested tips using SNS dip color. The first and biggest issue by far was a lack of professional skill and courtesy by the manicurist who was not licensed . My middle finger nails were not the same width or length and my ring fingers nails were both applied crooked. I had to make multiple requests to fix the crooked nails, and she never fixed the width or length issues of the middle fingers. My requests were rudely ignored. I also requested long nails which wasnt done because they insisted on a up-charge for the service on top of the $50 already being requested. That price is only reasonable from a skilled licensed manicurist; not someone clearly still in training. Only two manicurists had licenses displayed and neither were present on the date of my service 7/14/21. The smaller issue was a lack of color selection for gel or dip color; and a clear lack of supplies (one girl searched for a dip color similar to what I selected for over 20 mins, but because it wasnt what I selected I settled on white.) Finally word to the wise, although they foolishly have no signage here; it is CASH ONLY for the nail salon portion and they dont inform customers until after the fact, one lady was forced to go to the bank after her service was completed to pull cash from an ATM: not the right way to do business.

Kevin B The best haircut & beard work I’ve had in a while and at a reasonable price. Sebastian the barber is the equivalent to a Michelin star chef. He’s accurate, thorough, very detail oriented & especially time efficient. I couldn’t be any more satisfied by his work. The styling of my hair/beard was exactly what I asked for, but way better. Hands down, Sebastian is a high quality barber & my go-to guy from now on!!!

Trish S I was so happy with my experience at ALC Hair! From the beginning, I felt so comfortable with Ashley because she explained everything I needed to know before I came in, she both listened to what I wanted and gave her professional input without any pressure at the consultation, and she just had good energy overall. During the appointment, the conversation was pleasant, and she even made me a coffee. She did her work with apparent ease and made my fine hair look SO pretty! I had been a total newb, and honestly kind of lazy, at doing my own hair for a long time, but I was ready for a change, and Ashley was kind enough to answer all of my questions and explain what she was doing as she finished my cut with a blow-dry and style. Not only was I super thrilled with the way my hair looked at the end of my appointment, I now feel much more confident and able to elevate my own look whenever I want (Though not as good as she did, haha. Maybe with a lot more practice!) I will definitely be returning in the future for maintenance or maybe another change, and I highly recommend that anyone reading this go to ALC Hair!

Sarah Washington I’ve officially stop coming here after being a customer for approximately 14 years. This salon has not been the same since Melanie left. They only cater to the Hispanic community and treat them extra friendly; meanwhile, all black customers get is overcharged and heat damage to their hair because the dryer is on the highest setting burning your hair. Dori, the owner of the salon is very kind and I have never had a negative encounter with her. The two woman that work at this establishment daily act one way when Dori is in the building and a whole other when she is not present.

sloane moses First time customer at establishment, they have poor business practices. The prices change for different people. My daughter has shoulder length hair was told $45 fir wash conditioner and blow then charged $55. I can’t argue about a what a business charges, but watching them changes prices for their sub par service was a turn off. If they did an excellent job, I wouldn’t be wasting my time to review. However, the service was poor, and with a blow my daughters hair lacked the body and bounce. They suck! Only people who go here have been going there for years because they don’t want to travel for quality service.

Caridad Garcia Pricey for inexperienced hair coloring & hairstyling service. I went there to get a root touch up…what a mismatch of colors on my hair. I will need to go somewhere else to get it redone. I was also left under the hairdryer for a long time. She forgot about me because she got busy with others that came after me. I had an appointment but it didn’t seem to matter. My first & definitely my last time there! Your choice but I do not recommend this hair salon.

Fancy M Beware of this salon. I went to Maria for a wash and set for weeks and noticed my hair started to thin out. I stopped going and started washing my own hair due to this. It has been weeks and I feel as though it is now getting strong again due to home care. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
