I trusted that she would do a good job, no pain even when scraping my teeth. And she had on some fun pet play on tv, which was relaxing while getting X-rays and cleaning done. Will Quinn Ive never left a review in my entire life for anywhere. Till today. I went in to Wilson dental today to have a cleaning and an exam done. I had one of them done if you can call it that. My appointment was for 9:45. I was not seen till almost 10:45. While waiting and looking around I notice how dirty the whole facility was. After waiting an hour and getting called in I was bouncing around from a room to room and then to a chair where I was going to be seen by a dentist. I have no expertise in dentistry. I do know a cleaning should take more than 3 minutes. The dentist came over cut my gums worse than Ive ever experienced in my life and said my cleaning was done. A total of 3 minutes maybe four at the most and I was sent out the door and got told to go make an appointment for a exam that was supposed to be done today. In my opinion youd be better going to a veterinarian clinic you would get better help. And better healthcare through a vet. Overall I wouldnt take anybody there. Even in an emergency situation. I also want to note that I had a big piece of my tooth missing and it wasnt even noticed or talked about. And it was the reason that I was going there.

Yingrui L I loved the crown Dr. Torrado made for me much more comfortable than the one done by another dentist previously. He also made time to fix my mom’s crown that had some issues with very short notice. We really appreciate to have known such a great dentist. I highly recommend his practice to everyone.

Andy Feck Absolutely amazing practice. I switched to this dentists two years and don’t want to go anywhere else ever again. I’ve gotten a variety of work done here: fillings, an implant, a crown, my wisdom teeth coming out. The clerical staff is always helpful, caring and supportive and they are very on top of all the paperwork. Each doctor I have been with has always been very friendly and connected with me on a personal level. They run their practice with a “customer first” mindset and it clearly shows. When you are in there it feels like they truly want to reach the best solution for you and your needs, not make as much money as possible (which I’ve had lots of experience with in dentistry). I could not more highly recommend this practice!

Cory Goodfriend I had a mixed experience at Torrado Dental in Rochester, NY. On the positive side, Dr. Torrado performed a root canal that went very well. The procedure was handled professionally, and I initially felt confident in the care I received. Unfortunately, the quality of a subsequent cavity filling was disappointing. The filling was placed directly over a nerve that was close to the surface of the tooth, which led to significant nerve irritation and, ultimately, infection. I returned to Torrado Dental multiple times due to the worsening pain, but each time I was told that the work was fine and that there was no issue with the filling. I was prescribed antibiotics, but the pain persisted and only intensified. After continuing discomfort, I sought a second opinion through urgent care. Their X-rays clearly showed that the filling was placed directly on top of the nerve — a mistake that could and should have been avoided. What’s more troubling is that Dr. Torrado and his staff refused to acknowledge any error, even when the problem became more obvious with time and imaging. I’m now left dealing with ongoing pain and the frustration of not being heard or helped effectively. While I appreciate the root canal work, the handling of the cavity filling and the lack of accountability afterward have left me unable to recommend Torrado Dental with confidence.

Amy Bianchi-Payne Dr. Maggi and everyone that helped us at Cornerstone Dental was amazing. My kids felt a little hesitant and Dr. Maggi made us feel comfortable right away. My son is on the spectrum and she was incredibly kind and patient. As a teacher and a parent I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatric dentist.

Joe The cleaning experience was fine-nothing out of the ordinary. However, be cautious as the office tends to overcharge for basic cleanings and exams. They may also perform procedures/xrays without your prior consent and still expect payment. I recommend confirming all services in advance and requesting a detailed cost breakdown beforehand.

Rhonda Rossi The phone call was a little rocky, but once I got there things quickly changed, and I felt more comfortable. The doctor was knowledgeable and very compassionate to my circumstances. I’m scared for what I have to go through, but not because of him because of my own fears of the past With past dentists. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist, but ask for Jackie if you do a phone call.

Scott Adams I now dont mind going to the dentist!! Everyone on the staff are extremely nice! They are always making sure youre comfortable. I also got a birthday card at my appointment which was very special and unexpected. I would and do recommend them to anyone I can.

Matt Pickering Where can I even start with this office??? From the Office itself to the staff from the second you walk in until you leave people are just simply nice and welcoming. Something I’ve truly never experienced at a Dentists office which is part of the reason I neglected my teeth for so long and I also have Dental Anxiety from past offices that have ruined my experience. I started out with Jamie cleaning my teeth and let me tell you she welcomed me with open arms, got to know me and my fears and made me feel like my concerns were valid. She was extremely gentle and explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it to comfort me….and she’s just fun to be around. 10/10 experience with her….I’ve had 4-5 cleanings now and haven’t had a single issue yet. Just yesterday I started my road to implants (needing 4) I had all 4 molars removed and let me tell you this, I went with the sedation and I remember laughing in the surgery room beforehand and then I remember the staff walking me to the car….once the anesthesia wore off completely I was very surprised to find I was in ZERO discomfort. Sticking with the instructions that Trish (can’t speak highly enough of her as well, if you get the chance to meet her you will know why) she answered any and every question I had and didn’t act put off once! (I had a lot of paranoid questions too!) But again I’m day 2 post extractions and literally have no discomfort. Other than feeling the stitches I honestly do not feel as though I even had teeth removed. Dr. Vella from the second he enters the room makes you feel good. He didn’t make me feel bad for letting my teeth get to the point I did with them, but instead he acted like he wanted to help me and created an Oral Care plan to help me succeed. He’s soft spoken and amazing at what he does. I feel as though through the process he is extremely gentle in surgery and truly knows what he’s doing ( the continuing education that he receives yearly is also very impressive so he’s up to date on his profession and it shows tenfold). I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and remember being in pain/discomfort for days after years ago. I cannot thank the staff and Dr. Vella enough for helping me through this fear and working with me. I look forward to continuing my Dental upkeep at this office and fear for the day he retires! Once you’ve had someone like him work with you, you’ll never go anywhere else. Also the ladies at the front desk are amazing as well! It’s like everyone remembers your name at every visit and welcomes you in and everyone has a smile every visit….(that doesn’t happen anywhere now a days) It’s the little things…. and this office goes above and beyond for it’s patients. Again I cannot thank each and everyone of you enough. Book the appointment you will be very glad you did!

The hygienist Miranda took us in first and did a tooth count and brushing, as well as consulted about her liquid consumption and dental hygiene so we could have a solid hygiene plan. Dr. Goldie followed for a final check. Both Miranda and Dr. Goldie were so good with my daughter! As a father that meant so much to me that the interaction was good and their knowledge was on point. I enjoyed myself so much that I kind of want to go back and just hang out with everyone. And yes, you read that correctly. I enjoyed my time at a DENTAL APPOINTMENT. I was actually blessed to be able to get in today a bit earlier than planned due to multiple patient cancellations caused by our feisty Rochester winter weather. Dr. Lowenguth was absolutely wonderful. Her demeanor, kindness, and the way she informed me gave me instant reassurance that I was in good hands, and that feeling doesn’t come easily to me. Dr. Lowenguth’s assistant, Adam, was also amazing, informative, and just genuinely a pleasure to chat with. During the procedure itself, I felt no pain at all, and we’re talking about tooth removal, an infected cyst in the gum, bone grafting, and stitches… Serious matters, my friends. Typing these words alone is terrifying, and yet the experience was somehow enjoyable and I left with a smile on my face. These people have figured it out. Claudia Petersen I honestly enjoy my visits to Roc Perio & Implants. My cleanings are thorough, effective and painless. I have a lot of staining on my teeth and in the past cleanings were actually painful. The Air Flow technology used at Roc Perio removes more stain from my teeth and makes them cleaner than they have ever been with no discomfort. The hygenists are considerate, professional and very knowledgeable. Dr. Lowenguth checks my teeth and gums at every visit. I feel confident in my peridontal care and would highly recommend them.

Angelica Lopez wish i could rate them 0 stars. i’ve been going to this location for a while due to the webster location losing the best hygienist Aspen Dental had. so this was me settling. this location is nothing short of unprofessional. I had a cleaning appt scheduled; they called to confirm the appt on friday, and i was at work unable to take the call. once i was able to call them back they were closed. i called back monday morning to confirm i would be there and they CANCELLED AND FILLED MY CLEANING APPT. i took off work and moved so many things around for this appt and i was very upset. i contacted the Regional manager, Megan. i was unable to get in contact with her at the cannadaigua office that day; i left a message for her to call me back and did not receive a call back. super unprofessional and inconvenient. not to mention super unhelpful. i will no longer be going to any location ever again.

Kiely Maldonado They didnt fix the tooth that needed to be fixed because they messed up. They put the wrong number tooth and dentist said the tooth was fine. I then showed them the right tooth but they said no its fine. And this was after they broke my Tooth during an extraction. Had left pieces in my mouth for me to remove later. I still have pictures. Personally Im never going back

Justin H *update** after I left my review Howitt urgent care dental responded and told me I should call there patient outreach program. I naively thought it would be to try and figure out what happened with trying to get my medicine, or maybe to try and improve their process so this doesnt happen to someone else... Man was I wrong. Ive called twice now, about 2 hours apart. Both times an automated voice told me patient outreach was unavailable and I should leave a message. I left voice messages both times with my name and phone number, and a brief description of why I called. I have not heard bake. In my opinion it is insanely unprofessional to give someone a number and tell them to call and its just unavailable. So thanks. Again the dental staff themselves were great but if you need anything from the clerical/support staff GOOD LUCK! If I could leave 2 different reviews I would. The dental staff them selves were incredibly helpful and deserving of 4-5 starts. However the experience Ive had trying to get antibiotics after an extraction has been almost more excruciating than the extraction. Its been 4 days now and they still havent sent a script to my pharmacy. Ive called multiple times and have only managed to speak to an actual person once and they talked to me like I was a drug addict looking for opiates when all I want is antibiotics. They said they would send the script or have the dentist call me. That was 3 days ago and I havent heard anything. Back from them. Make sure they send your script before you leave the building I guess.

Joce Miko I am very happy with our visit to the Urgent Care. My husband has been having excruciating tooth pain for a while, we went into the appointment knowing that he might have to have the tooth extracted. I was worried at first due to the reviews I was reading, but when we went the staff was very nice and accommodating. My husband has some disabilities, so I needed to accompany him in the appointment. When they said he was the only one who could come back, I explained that I am his advocate, and they said it was okay for me to come in with him. The dental assistant was very nice and helped make him feel comfortable, they took x-rays and determined we would need a lot of follow up care if we wanted to save the tooth, and that it might need to be extracted anyway. We decided to have it removed, my husband was very nervous about it, but when the doctor came in, Mohommed, his main concern was his comfort. He made sure he was having 0 pain before trying to extract the tooth. He was very polite and made sure my husband was comfortable. The extraction was very hard, but the doctor and assistant never showed any frustration and remained very professional and nice. Overall, I am blown away by the care he received.

Michelle Zinck Went to the urgent care part. Wait time was crazy but when I got seen the assistant and dentist were super comforting and nice. I was in the er all night with a bad molar, so I was exhausted and hate dentist so the experience was so good. The doctor explained everything to me as he did it, made sure i was comfortable before continuing. Absolutely would go back. Not gonna lie I dont remember their names but they know who they are. Assistant had braces and doctor had kind eyes ❤️

Joseph Guardino I went to East Ave Dentistry last year for a consultation after my local dentist told me that I needed periodontal care and recommended that I come every four months for cleaning. It sounded serious enough to me that I wanted to get a second opinion. After an initial appointment with East Ave Dentistry, it wasnt as serious as it sounded and that hygienist appointments twice a year would be sufficient with proper dental care. So, I switched my dental care to East Ave Dentistry this year and am very happy the care that they provide from the staff at reception to the hygienist and doctors. Plus, I lost dental insurance when I retired, and their dental savings plan has lowered the cost of my dental care.
