C. K. First time I got my foot done and it was done very well. My nail technician, Nancy, is informative and does want you want... It helps that the location is fairly clean and a bit modern. In comparison to other locations in the area

Diana Narcisse The nail technician, called FONG, always has an attitude. She told me she won’t do my nails anymore because I kindly correct her sloppy work. She even gets offended when I simply look at my nails to make sure I’m satisfied with what I’m paying for. If Fong can’t handle that, she shouldn’t be a nail tec. On top of that, she’s been telling other clients that I’m picky. Learn the difference between being picky and wanting quality work for my money. Sorry, but if the work is sloppy, I have every right to speak up !!!

{Naylani Nelson} Never going back again.. I went at around 6:00 pm to see if I could get a mani-pedi but acrylics. I understood I came kind of late, I had school and work so my schedule was very weird. I have gone before and had no issues, however, I was taken care of by Fong and she always has some type of mean attitude when she has to work. My pedicure came out bad and got dirty 5 seconds after leaving the nail salon. I was given attitude when I said I wanted to do acrylics AFTER I ORIGINALLY SAID THATS WHAT I WANTED AND WAS TOLD THAT WAS WHAT I WAS GOING TO GET. Fong yelled at me and said “What?! No I dont do acrylics for you, I am tired I want to go home” yet there was a lady behind me getting acrylics done at such a late time. I had no words and I am a younger person who goes there often and uses my minimum wage check to get a simple short nails never anything crazy. Instead of just telling me she cant because they are gonna close, she yelled at me and says she wants to go home. Never again, hated the experience and gave too many chances. Also fongs nails never last, they get very loose and sometimes the designs are very poorly executed. Had a nail break after a week.

Shauna M This was an incredible experience for me. I got a spa pedicure and a matching full set. The employees were professional and had wonderful attitudes. In general, Im quite finicky about my nails. My nails looked extremely well-groomed and manicured. This place was peaceful and calm, which I appreciated after being in full-time mommy mode. Also, the salon is stunning. I love that I was offered water. I never had that experience before out of all the nail salons i’ve been to! It is a true spa experience, and I would strongly suggest it to all of my friends and family.

Atlantis Gaming I love all my experiences At Posh Nail Bar & Spa, the environment is a zero discrimination store. There should not be a single person that will entertain any sort of racial or discriminatory comment just to keep a happy customer. Diversity is a great thing for any company. Differing opinions and cultural backgrounds are something to cherish for their learning effects. They welcome all race, sex, religion, ethnicity, and immigration status. I am happy to be in a welcoming salon that is black owned and is open to diversity with customers and employees. My experiences are great. I received my piercing, pedicure, tips and my first facial At posh nail bar and spa. Amazing services, I love it. I had family visiting and felt very happy to be able to take them to a clean, professional and welcoming environment. When I asked why there was no smell of acrylic I was told the entire store from ground up including all nail station and pedi chairs was fully ventilated with fresh outside air. I was even more impressed!!!

Nichelle .Thomas Absolute worse nail salon Ive ever been to. I was the only customer and it was freezing inside the salon. When I got home, which was about an hour later, the gel manicure already began to deform on the nail and peel off. I paid around $36 and gave a $10 tip. I am so disappointed about this...now I have to repay to get another manicure STAT. Not only that but the owner stopped my manicure to make me pay before being done, just because she was in a rush to leave and I guess wanted to shut down the credit card machine. Would never recommend to anyone.

3.Alice Nails

Address: 1934 Williamsbridge Rd, Bronx, NY 10461

(91) Reviews Alice Nails:

Victoria The way I was treated at Alice nails was truly despicable, mind you I’ve been going there for over a year & I tip the women very heavy & good because they work hard & im sure they have families to support. The way Erica treated me from her attitude to laziness to trying to be intimidating was horrifying. I just can’t wrap my head around about how unwarranted it was. Here’s my experience… I’m getting the leveled up pedicure treatment rather then regular treatment so I’m expecting to relax & be taken cared of because majority of the women there know what they’re doing & are very good at it. The pedicure involved sugar scrub mud sea salt etc, now Erica putting this on it very carelessly not even wrapping my legs & feet with the clear wrap completely. As she’s cleaning/filing my toes she was very rough I was fighting the pain the whole time as she’s digging under my nail & around my cuticles . She’s rushing me to get my hands done as she’s doing this, fine no problem. Then the massage was terrible!! Truly Horrible all she did was rub lotion on my legs literally that’s all she did with no massage movements no relaxation no pressure just spreading the lotion on my legs barely even on my feet. When I saw this is what she was really doing not just getting ready to massage because I was giving her the benefit of the doubt but I had to ask her to please do my feet the last few minutes it was a 20 minute massage so now im upset because come on I’m paying for a $100 pedicure do something right here because it’s been terrible this whole entire time! She forgets to give me the hot stone that was part of the service until another employee had to remind her when the massage was over or rather say lotion being circled around on my skin was over because that was not a massage. Then she puts the paint on my toes rushing so the color is streaking from the clear coat under I ask her to fix the big toe at least. Then I go to dry my nails she grabs all my stuff mind you throughout this is asking me to pay but my hands were wet because Laura was painting my nails which I felt forced to have to do because she kept stopping my pedicure, the chair was so far from the dryer because she just dropped my stuff which fell on the floor so I’m shimming my way closer to the dryer not being able to do it myself obviously my nails are wet & I would hate for them to have to redo their work I’m there for less than a whole minute she runs up on me with a demeanor so aggressive & forceful I felt I was getting mugged on the street with her saying “you’re going to pay now” I’m like yes miss no problem I then go to get up my toe swipes those rubber sandals they put on while painting she screams out loud “oh my god” I looked up at her appalled I couldn’t believe her behavior as she then orders me to come sit back on the chair to fix it, she places just another coat over the smudged nail. At this point this is just laughable I was so fed up with the treatment I shouldn’t of had to endure none of it. I then go to dry & she’s just standing there waiting to get tipped for the horrify treatment and service she did I felt so uncomfortable as she stood there laughing & speaking Spanish with her coworkers the whole time after she had to redo my toe nail rushing me out with my nails being wet now coming home to go to an event tomorrow with my toe nails looking terrible & surprised all the who I believe was upper management or owner just to say sorry she’s usually good. I mean this was just unbelievable & I just can’t believe anyone would think it was okay to treat someone that’s paying for a service you’re getting paid to do, I don’t believe Erica wants her job nor cares about her performance as long as it appears done or she gets people in & out the door. The other women Laura did my hands, they look great & appreciated her tip , Erica was lazy, disrespectful & careless.

SK Paid $90 for this nails just last Saturday, and on Monday 2 of them broke up. I went there to fix them, and the manager or the owner of the place did fixed for me but in a rude way. Today one of my other nails did broke up again. Just stay way from this place, is not worthy to pay a lot of money for this garbage. It never happened to me before. It’s a rude place, with rude people and cheap products, just stay away from this place

Diana Drummond WORSE pedi ever . They only place my feet in warm water , cut my nails, rub each feet for 2 minutes. There was cracks on my feet and when I show it to the lady she said she can’t remove it all so I should return 2 weeks time. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND MY WORSE ENEMY

Wendy Corona Lady was nice & did a good job. But when I asked about pricing. At first I was just asking about their premium pedi. Gel + French tip is an extra $30 which is ridiculous. And I just wanted a regular pedi with gel and French. My toes came out okay. I would have wanted a pinker tone. Plus they included tip at the end. I always tip but, to include it in the service is terrible customer service. Not coming back !! I spent $87…

Lisamarie Vazquez I had been trying to get an appointment with Peter for weeks (recommended by a friend). I finally got an appointment for a Thursday at 5. I was arrived to said appointment about 15 mins early, but someone else was still taken before me at the time of my appointment. When he finished with that person, he announced he was too sick to take me. I wasn’t seen until after 7 by his wife. She was so sweet and accommodated my crazy wait time (with a sleeping toddler). She did my UV gel for the first time, which I loved! She even gifted me a nice lotion. I really appreciated her trying to make things right. I loved my nails! Thank you Michelle!

Traci Vega I don’t do “Selective Client Servicing”! At the recommendation of my daughter, I walked into This shop around 9:55AM. Mind you I’m told they open at 10AM. However, once there, there was 1 young lady already being serviced and her friend? sitting by her side - waiting I guess. I was nicely greeted by a young man/nail tech. I told jom I had been advised to ask for time with the nail specialist named “Jackie”. Jaxkie was the person working in one of the women when I arrived. Fine, so I was offered the option to wait or begin with another specialist. I waited a minute and then approached the guy and asks if he’d take care of me - to which he said of course. He then prepped my nails by soaking them for the powder dip. So I was asked to have a seat while this process takes effect. I went to the restroom, came back and there was another woman at his table. He was prepping her nails the same as he did mine - only she never got up!!!! I went over there and questioned what’s up with this? I had already sat for 1hr. Okay. The owner “Peter” tried gaslighting me with some crap about the process of removing the previous nails and the guy prepping me for Jackie. I simply asked another tech to remove the foil from my nails, told Peter the foolishness he hoped would be enough to accept and told him Communication is key!!! Had I been told this is what was being done, idk maybe I would’ve waited. But nothing! They made a conscious decision to move the white woman to my chair and have me wait for Jackie - only I didn’t know of their decision to redirect me w/o speaking to me.
