Alice Nails - Bronx Victoria: The way I was treated at Alice nails was truly despicable, mind you Iāve been going there for over a year & I tip the women very heavy & good because they work hard & im sure they have families to support. The way Erica treated me from her attitude to laziness to trying to be intimidating was horrifying. I just canāt wrap my head around about how unwarranted it was. Hereās my experienceā¦
Iām getting the leveled up pedicure treatment rather then regular treatment so Iām expecting to relax & be taken cared of because majority of the women there know what theyāre doing & are very good at it. The pedicure involved sugar scrub mud sea salt etc, now Erica putting this on it very carelessly not even wrapping my legs & feet with the clear wrap completely. As sheās cleaning/filing my toes she was very rough I was fighting the pain the whole time as sheās digging under my nail & around my cuticles . Sheās rushing me to get my hands done as sheās doing this, fine no problem. Then the massage was terrible!! Truly Horrible all she did was rub lotion on my legs literally thatās all she did with no massage movements no relaxation no pressure just spreading the lotion on my legs barely even on my feet. When I saw this is what she was really doing not just getting ready to massage because I was giving her the benefit of the doubt but I had to ask her to please do my feet the last few minutes it was a 20 minute massage so now im upset because come on Iām paying for a $100 pedicure do something right here because itās been terrible this whole entire time! She forgets to give me the hot stone that was part of the service until another employee had to remind her when the massage was over or rather say lotion being circled around on my skin was over because that was not a massage. Then she puts the paint on my toes rushing so the color is streaking from the clear coat under I ask her to fix the big toe at least. Then I go to dry my nails she grabs all my stuff mind you throughout this is asking me to pay but my hands were wet because Laura was painting my nails which I felt forced to have to do because she kept stopping my pedicure, the chair was so far from the dryer because she just dropped my stuff which fell on the floor so Iām shimming my way closer to the dryer not being able to do it myself obviously my nails are wet & I would hate for them to have to redo their work Iām there for less than a whole minute she runs up on me with a demeanor so aggressive & forceful I felt I was getting mugged on the street with her saying āyouāre going to pay nowā Iām like yes miss no problem I then go to get up my toe swipes those rubber sandals they put on while painting she screams out loud āoh my godā I looked up at her appalled I couldnāt believe her behavior as she then orders me to come sit back on the chair to fix it, she places just another coat over the smudged nail. At this point this is just laughable I was so fed up with the treatment I shouldnāt of had to endure none of it. I then go to dry & sheās just standing there waiting to get tipped for the horrify treatment and service she did I felt so uncomfortable as she stood there laughing & speaking Spanish with her coworkers the whole time after she had to redo my toe nail rushing me out with my nails being wet now coming home to go to an event tomorrow with my toe nails looking terrible & surprised all the who I believe was upper management or owner just to say sorry sheās usually good. I mean this was just unbelievable & I just canāt believe anyone would think it was okay to treat someone thatās paying for a service youāre getting paid to do, I donāt believe Erica wants her job nor cares about her performance as long as it appears done or she gets people in & out the door. The other women Laura did my hands, they look great & appreciated her tip , Erica was lazy, disrespectful & careless.
