1 /5 Traci Vega: I don’t do “Selective Client Servicing”! At the recommendation of my daughter, I walked into
This shop around 9:55AM. Mind you I’m told they open at 10AM. However, once there, there was 1 young lady already being serviced and her friend? sitting by her side - waiting I guess. I was nicely greeted by a young man/nail tech. I told jom I had been advised to ask for time with the nail specialist named “Jackie”. Jaxkie was the person working in one of the women when I arrived. Fine, so I was offered the option to wait or begin with another specialist. I waited a minute and then approached the guy and asks if he’d take care of me - to which he said of course. He then prepped my nails by soaking them for the powder dip. So I was asked to have a seat while this process takes effect. I went to the restroom, came back and there was another woman at his table. He was prepping her nails the same as he did mine - only she never got up!!!! I went over there and questioned what’s up with this? I had already sat for 1hr. Okay. The owner “Peter” tried gaslighting me with some crap about the process of removing the previous nails and the guy prepping me for Jackie. I simply asked another tech to remove the foil from my nails, told Peter the foolishness he hoped would be enough to accept and told him Communication is key!!! Had I been told this is what was being done, idk maybe I would’ve waited. But nothing! They made a conscious decision to move the white woman to my chair and have me wait for Jackie - only I didn’t know of their decision to redirect me w/o speaking to me.
