1 /5 Elizabeth harris: I was very happy in the beginning with good customer service and price. This year when I received my insurance bill, it had went up by $135 with no explanation. I looked around and found insurance $200 cheaper, so obtained it. I received a threatening email from the agency and immediately called to cancel and the person I spoke with told me I couldnt cancel. Actually it is my right to cancel and I have sent the notification via mail.

A friend told me about them when I complained about how expensive my auto insurance was - they beat any other prices I had ever found (my premiums dropped almost IN HALF by switching! for the same/equivalent coverage, and I had been shopping around pretty regularly) & everyone Ive worked with in the office has been lovely. Update 12/27/22: stopped by to add another car to my policy and when I got to the DMV I realized I needed an update to my insurance card. I called the office and the receptionist and Madeline were very helpful and were able to email and fax the updated card right away saving me from another trip to the DMV. Thanks so much!

It was after hours, so we contacted Buffie through FB. She called and helped us from her home!! She is one of a kind. Her agents are also terrific!!

Riann Nova: Be aware if youre moving out of state and using True insurance. Ive been a customer for over a decade, and have moved out of state several times with no issues-- Until now. True is now refusing to cancel my policy and is making me pay for my current NY policy PLUS my new policy in the new state I moved to, until they can receive PROOF FROM THE DMV that I turned your plates in. Ive talked to several insurance representatives from other companies ( including one from Erie Insurance who is my actual provider) who all say this should NOT be the case and that I have the right to cancel my policy at any time I want to. According to True, this is ONLY their policy and has nothing to do with the DMV nor my actual insurance provider. So unless you want to get completely screwed by having to pay for 2 insurance policies at the same time, LEAVE THIS COMPANY IMMEDIATELY.
