Five Star Bank - Auburn (NY)

1 /5 Christian Rudio: My father had an account here, getting anyone to call me back when he passed has been a huge hassle. They have one person designated to handle these requests and her phone goes straight to voicemail. They sent the death certificate back without even a note explaining what the next steps will be. Horrible experience, cant imagine why anyone would put money there.

Very rude especially Josie Apparently she talks to everybody rude and she’s ok with that and then refused to put on the manager on the phone after asking for one. They need to be a little bit more compassionate, because they don’t understand what people are going through. Will not be recommending this bank. And if you speak another language, other than English, your best bet is to find another bank who will help.

1 /5 Cristina Palladino: They charge you to make a car payment and you can’t use a debit card on the computer to make a payment you have to connect a bank account transfer so weird. DO NOT USE!!!

4 /5 Jenna Dorsey: I give 5 Star Bank Credit. Someone online offered to donate money to AuburnRox through cash app. They were able to then use that to get into my bank account and attempt to take money from it. 5 Star recognized this to be odd and shut it down. I’m still a bit leery of banks now, but they are always pleasant. The workers in the Auburn 5 Star bank have been nothing short of helpful and patient.

1 /5 Howard Perkins: They gave me a good rate on an auto loan and over the life of it I made one late payment back in 2017 because it slipped my mind and I thought I already paid it for the month. The only late payment on my credit report. Even after settling the loan they refused to remove it so Ill never do business with them again.
