Several year ago, I bought our engagement rings and wedding rings through the Syracuse location. That’s when things went downhill.
If you aren’t buying anything, their in-store customer service is abysmal. I have a lifetime warranty on our rings, and have to do semi-annual inspections, and for years they acted like they had no clue what I was talking about, but I keep my records. So make sure you do to, or they will pull one over on you.
Getting your jewelry serviced there is also a pain, they only give guesstimates on when your jewelry will be done. Like today, I go to pick up our jewelry at the time they said, and “sorry, only one item is done, you’ll have to come back”. You might say “well why dont you call ahead”, much like everything else at this location, it’s a waste of time, because you call ahead and they just claim the pick up time is the pick up time. I would argue, if they have an appointed pick up time with a customer, good customer service would have a business call so a customer doesn’t have to waste their time fighting traffic and the construction.
Moral of the story, buy somewhere else, not sure where, but it can’t be worse than here.
