Audra S I dont typically do reviews of doctors. However, I am not sure I can even put into words how thankful our family is for Dr. Maghsoudlou (aka Dr. Mags)!! He LITERALLY has saved my fathers life at least 2 times!!! He has been treating my dad for Parkinson’s, lewy body Dementia, Parkinson’s Dementia, seizures, etc over the past 2 years.
Dr. Mags saved Poppys life when he had Encephalitis, infection in the brain. The other hospital doctors stopped treatment that was working! Treatment that Dr.Mags had started. And 2 days later Poppy was back to being hospital & bed bound. The treatment was restarted after we got ugly at the hospital. And Dr.Mags did orders from home to restart the treatment. Poppy was discharged home 3 days later!!! If it were left to the other doctors he would have died from Encephalitis being untreated!!!
He has come through for us on multiple occasions during hospital stays!! One time upon hearing Poppy was in the hospital, Dr.Mags showed up in his hospital room within 30mins!!! Other times if he cant physically get there, he made himself available for phone consult with the other doctors. And would enter orders & medications from wherever he was.
Dr.Maghsoudlou may seem rushed at times, but he isnt really. I truly think that is just because his brain is just going so fast taking in all the information, including what he is physically seeing and thinking of possible causes & this treatment plans. He is very quick thinking.
Our family will forever be grateful for the care Dr.Maghsoudlou provided & provides to Poppy!! He is intelligent, knowledgeable, caring and available in the times we have reached out in need! Anyone would be lucky to have him as a doctor in their team!!

Ann Linsky Dismissive, rude, egotistical, and disrespectful. He didnt answer questions, and was rushed. DEFINITELY doesnt like to be challenged or entertain suggestions. He tries to make us see a different specialist at every visit because he doesnt think Medicaid patients are worth wasting his "extensive" (?) knowledge base or such expensive time on. So my wonderful daughter is short changed. Im so glad some people got out from his care alive. As a medically knowledgeable person, I asked for my daughter to get another MRI since he couldnt diagnose her and it had been over two years. He just abruptly said "no, nothing has changed." Does that mean he has x-ray vision? Or ESP? It was a responsible question and medically necessary test due to her congenital brain deformity. But the kicker was when, after literally seven minutes, he got up and walked out while I was in the middle of an important question! Our visit was over for him. Oh, he also called in the wrong medication which could have killed my daughter if the pharmacist hadnt caught it. What a medical genius. (At least in his own mind.)
