5 /5 John Grana: While visiting friends in Avon NY, we were deciding where to go for dinner.
We thought we would try a new restaurant and bar off Route 5&20 near Avon NY.
Heard from a friend the did some pretty good wings.
Arrived around 5:30PM and had a quick pint while waiting for my wife and her friend - and had a short chat with the cook and owner (I think her name was Pam).
BTW, nice selection of beers on tap! Some local, some national - nice variety!
Pam was fun to talk to! Quite a nice person and was proud of her cooking and work at Eastons!
My wife and her friend showed up and we were seated quickly.
I ordered some wings, mild with a side of hot. Our friend ordered some mozzarella sticks.
The wings were as I was told - fantastic. Perfectly cooked - crispy but still juicy on the inside. The Buffalo medium sauce had just the right amount of heat and tang - the hot on the side - well, it was hot indeed!
The mozzarella sticks were nicely breaded and wow, the side of marinara sauce was a big hit!!!
We then ordered some burgers. I had the Eastons Burger and my wife the special of the day - a Korean BBQ burger.
Both were big - close to 1/2 lb and cooked medium as we requested. Mine was tasty with the crispy pickles and lettuce, cheese and a nice creamy sauce.
My wife loved her Korean BBQ burger. The sauce was sweet and savory. She finished the entire burger (rare for her).
We both passed (sadly) in fries for side. With all the traveling we needed a break from fries.
My side of macaroni salad was really good. Not too thin, not too thick.
Overall we had a fine nosh - and will return the next time in WNY!!!
