Jakes on the Water - Potsdam (NY)

5 /5 Traveling Cosmos and Tacos: Thunderstorms forced us inside but we still had a view of the lake. The area is beautiful. There’s an overflow parking lot across the street, and a row of Adirondak chairs facing the lake off to the side. The restaurant was very nice inside. The food and drink menu had a very nice selection. Will be back again during nicer weather so I can enjoy outdoor dining. My favorite appetizers were the calamari and cauliflower. My table also ordered Greek salad, ribs and fish & chips. Everyone enjoyed their food.

5 /5 Tiffany Brown: We had a reservation, got in quick with no problem. Asked for our choice seating, which was accommodated without haste. Food was delicious, drinks were spot on. Absolutely will visit again!

5 /5 Deepnath Majumder: Great atmosphere and views! We were served by Holly; she was very humble and hospitable. We tried the kung pao cauliflower, the buttermilk pancakes, and the french onion soup. All three items were delicious. The prices were very decent as well and we were served with good portions.

4 /5 Valeria Escrich: I’d dare to say it’s the best restaurant in the area. Excellent food and portions. The service was very good. Despite having available tables, we were seated near the bar and the door, so we couldn’t enjoy the view or the Christmas decorations.
