Roma Pizzeria - Oxford (NY)

1 /5 Luz Cardona: Dear Gabe, I am writing to bring to your attention a concerning experience I had at Roma Pizzeria on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at around 4:45 pm. During my visit, I observed one of your employees ( Richi) handling food while wearing gloves, then collecting cash payments, and continuing to touch the food without changing gloves or washing hands in between. This is extremely unhygienic and raises serious food safety concerns. In addition to this, when I politely raise my concern about the hygiene issue, the employee responded in a rude and dismissive manner which made me feel very uncomfortable and disappointed. When he decide to take off the gloves he continued touching my vegetables barehanded while his hands were very sweaty, he never washed his hands. I ask him if he has more gloves but he just ignored me and to make it even worst when I received the pizza was very cold. I have always expected better standards of cleanliness and customer service from your restaurant, because I have been a loyal customer to your restaurant for many years now. I hope you will take this complaint seriously and address the issue by reinforcing proper food handling procedures and providing additional staff training on professional customer interactions. 1 /5 Jay Vandermark: Just to keep it short and simple, The establishment was nice and the staff was very friendly. Service was disorganized, and the food was hardly edible. All around, from Appetizer, to salad, to entree, it’s a meal I’d soon like to forget about. There was a lot of food leftover over, yet not a single person in my party requested a take out container.

4 /5 Krystal P: Food was SO good! Stopped in while driving hours for work, very peaceful atmosphere and the waitress was very nice. We had pepperoni pizza roll and garlic knots(they were amazing) we ate all 6! Hah

1 /5 Matt: Im not gunna water it down...the food was bad. I ordered bruschetta as an appetizer, it was so soaked in oil it was soggy like eating a wet sponge, couldnt eat it..$15 waste . I ordered a seafood scampi, last I knew "scampi" is a garlic butter type sauce....it was some heavy pesto sauce and well overcooked seafood and pasta. I took like 2 bites and couldnt stomach the rest, $29 waste. Waitress was nice had no issues with her....but it was clear I wasnt at the slightest satisfied with the experience, but wasnt really asked about it... I wasnt gunna give her a hard time over it,.. the bread was fresh and good and Ive had their pizza before and is usually excellent..but the 2 times Ive gotten entrees...no good. sticking with the pizza

2 /5 Jenn Phetteplace: Have been supporting Roma’s since the original ownership. Tonight I was in shock at how down hill it has actually gone. The pizza was lacking flavor, sauce and cheese. The pic shows just how the quality has suffered. The current owner was also the one making pizza so this is obviously acceptable for the product now they serve. So disappointed as this was not how it used to be. For over $22.00 for a large half Roni I would expect a little better.
