5 /5 Evita Noelle: Came to this restaurant last night for my birthday dinner with my husband. We have been eyeing it after seeing all the food posts on socials and hearing buzz in the community. To start, the hostess is very pleasant and all the staff were wonderful. Our waitress was Tia and her service was excellent, which really adds to your dining experience. Even as you go to restroom, every staff you pass is welcoming and acknowledges you. Now this may not matter to everyone, but I noticed how well the staff were put together, almost dressed up, as if they were going out for dinner and not just another night at work and for me that really elevates the dining experience to another level. The ambience is very nice, dim lit mood to match the moody and eccentric decor. The faucet in the bathroom is really cool & high quality towelettes always a plus. Now for the food, we ordered a lot as we usually do and I can say the portions are so large we would have been better off with another couple joining us, of course we took left overs to go. We ordered 3 apps, the cacio e Pepe mozzarella corrozza, the special king crab leg oreganatta & spicy tuna crispy rice. Tuna was my favorite, 4 large pieces. The crab leg was honestly on the dryer side & quite difficult to scoop out the meat, cant say I would order it again esp for $75, the mozz en corrozza was soo gooey and large portion definitely something unique. On the saltier side for my own liking but husband had no complaints in that regard. For entree we shared truffle mushroom gnocchi, beef Wellington deconstructed, and their special chicken trio. The gnocchi was exceptional and cooked to perfection, again on the saltier side and more peppered than my personal preference but still very enjoyable 2nd favorite dish of the night. The Wellington steak was cooked to perfection would definitely order again. The chicken was amazing but notably a heavy dish with all the sauce. If we had 4 people and could sample little of everything I maybe would have had more room to enjoy at this point. I imagine eating that dish with having just 1 appetizer beforehand would have been amazing. The dessert we went with was the tiramisu & bread pudding with pumpkin tartufo. I always order tiramisu when dining out and this is a top fave, very unique, large portion, as full as I was at this point I had to eat it, the kinda dish you cannot leave behind. The bread pudding was on the drier side for my liking and not a fan of the pumpkin tartufo, to be fair it was too much and not pairing well with the tiramisu but my husband very much enjoyed it. He likes dishes more well done and crispy I prefer more moist so could be a preference thing. Presentation of every single dish was beautiful, very much elevated the experience and your eyes ate first. Overall we very much had a 5 star experience and look forward to coming back, can see this being a go to spot for a simple intimate dinner, group outing, or another celebratory occasion. One of the owners came up and asked us how we were doing, clearly they are very involved in their customer experience and present on the floor. They brought out a sparkler with my dessert and happy birthday chocolate placed into the dessert. One of the staff surprised me with a non expected moment and staff sang happy birthday. Thank you Terina for a lovely and memorable birthday experience.
