I would give 5 stars for all staff with exception of one star for Dr. Suzanne Barth, who was condescending, dismissive, disregarded concerns, and focus was limited.

I have been working with Kathleen for years now, and this is the most supportive, kind, and trustworthy doctor’s office that I have ever visited or even heard of. Everybody here knows me by name, knows exactly how to help me, and have been beyond supportive while I’m struggling with a long journey of mental health concerns. I consider them family to the truest extent of the definition. As somebody who used to be (and still is to an extent) skeptical of the medical field as a whole, this place is a diamond in the rough, and I’m thankful every day that I found them. I’ve seen so many doctors, and specialists that just dismiss my concerns, tell me nothing’s wrong, and take the insurance money. Every time I go to the hospital the first thing they try to do is pump me full of Ativan and hope I sleep it off. It’s so comforting to go somewhere that I know people care, and want to help me find a solution to my problems instead of just getting me in and out. I can’t thank the staff here at Southern Adirondack Family Health enough for their hard work and accommodating attitudes. They are a shining example of compassion in a field that is severely lacking in that department these days.

Ann LaFond I had gotten a deep gash on my ring finger while gardening. Rinsed it thoroughly and realized that I would likely need stitches. Drove myself to HH Warrensburg and was brought in just minutes after arriving. Got set up in an exam room and within a few minutes Dr Maher had my hand cleaned up, numbed and stitched. Everyone without exception was Kind, , Caring, Professional and very Efficient. Great Experience from start to finish!

Ryan Mazierski What a great museum! The Old Fort House Museum displays a great deal of local and national history! The house was built by Patrick Smyth in 1772 using timbers salvaged from Fort Edward. During the American Revolution the house operated as a tavern. George Washington, James Monroe, and Philip Schuyler all visited the tavern during this time. In the years after the Revolution it was a boarding house. During this time period Solomon Northup was an occupant of the house. Northup would later write the book "Twelve Years a Slave." Inside the house each room is set to look like a different time period in American history, in which the house was occupied. It goes from the American Revolution to about the 1950s. The most interesting rooms in the house are Solomon Northups room, and the original tavern from the late 1700s. The house also displays a variety of artifacts. These include a tombstone of Jane McCrea, a chest made by Stephen Douglass, timbers from the original Fort Edward, and a chest that belonged to Philip Schuyler. Outside the house the museum showcases gardens and buildings from in and around the Fort Edward area. Theres on old one room schoolhouse and law office among others. Several displays of local history are also presented in these buildings. This museum should not be overlooked. It offers a lot for a very low admission price. Call ahead to make sure museum is open. Cash only. Is open on weekends. Gift shop offers much in the way of local history items and memorabilia.

Samantha Niro Countryside is a fantastic clinic. I recently moved to the area and hadnt established our pets with a new vet. When my dog injured a nail first thing on a Saturday morning, Countryside was the only clinic I called that was willing to squeeze us in. The staff was patient and incredibly kind from the phone call to heading home. Well be taking all of our pets here, no question.

C D The group of team members were very friendly. We were early and they still got us in very quickly. It was a very nice first time visit for Jung and us. Made us feel very good about our choice. The group of people at Countryside made our fur baby feel comfortable and loved. I would highly recommend Countryside for our furry babies, they made us feel like they were like family.

Holly Steady I would like to say as a nurse who has worked in multiple disciplines it is refreshing to see and be part of a group of nurses and other healthcare workers who care and not just about the bottom dollar but the residents, there loved ones and their staff. This is one of the best environments I have been in. I can tell you to any loved one or resident we hear your concerns and are diligently working one making our term the best so that we can provide excellent care! The Pines absolutely wants the best for our residents!

Jackie Wolcott Elder No one wants to have a loved one go into one of these places, but sometimes there is no choice. Is this place perfect? No. Have I had any complaints? A few. Have my complaints been addressed when I raised them? EVERY SINGLE TIME. I think it takes a special kind of person to be able to do the work that is done here and I give them a lot of credit. I could not do what they do. Special shout out to Dorothy who is an incredible advocate for her patients. When she sees something they need, she doesnt stop until she gets it.

Sharon DAgostino I’ve been fortunate to have the support from so many staff members during my mother’s rehabilitation. The professionalism, dedication and punctuality I’ve received from Elenya has been second to none. She has been extremely helpful as I’ve navigated physician appointments, scheduling, transportation and so much more for my mom’s care. My mother was not expected to walk after an automobile accident, her physical therapist Christian took her from cast and braces to walking, something we never thought possible. The care from her CNA’s Claire and Stacy have been with her every step of the way as she continues to heal. Their care is above and beyond. This has been and continues to be a long process made so much more tolerable because of these staff members, nurses and many others.

Jen Dr. Hite is great. Very kind, calming and reassuring. However, his office has dropped the ball several times during my few months dealing with them, and several of his staff are very rude. Great doctor, nightmare office.

I loved Dr. Hite super knowledgeable, knows what he is talking about, thorough and a very nice eye doctor. All around great visit and I highly recommend this practice.

Joelene Davidson Office is great and friendly. I was also, was turned away, My last primary over medicated me, miss diagnosis and fail to give the pharmacy a dosage for the medication, she called in. My insurance mention to try some wheres else. I did and was turned away.

Kathleen is the most genuine and caring provider I have ever come in contact with. She truly listens and works with her patients to help them achieve both mental and physical wellness.
