1 /5 Kali T: I came to this salon back in October 2023 for highlights and styling. They advertise themselves as being inclusive of all hair types and textures, but as someone with 4B-4C hair, my experience really didnt reflect that. The highlight service with Ari went well. However, the styling portion of my appointment, which was pre-booked, was handled differently than expected. Without explanation, I was transferred to another stylist who appeared unfamiliar with my hair texture. They applied a strengthening treatment for an additional $45 that left my hair feeling dry. When I inquired about the styling that I had booked after the poor result from the second stylist, I was passed to a third stylist. Throughout this process, there was minimal communication about these changes. The payment situation was a mess too. After paying about $500 (with tip), they told me the payment didnt go through and asked me to pay again. I found out later they were having issues with their payment system and this had happened before - but nobody told me that at the time. Being non-confrontational, I agreed to the second charge, but ended up leaving the salon with a double charge of over $1000 on my card. While they did eventually fix the payment issue, I walked out with no clear idea of when Id get my money back, and poorly styled hair. While the highlight service itself was okay, the lack of communication, stylist swaps, and payment problems made this a really disappointing experience.

5 /5 Marcela Landres: My straight baby fine hair resists products and styling. Luckily, Jenny G also has my hair type and intuitively understands its possibilities and limitations. As I described the look I was going for she listened attentively, made great suggestions, then executed a fab cut that frames my face and fits my lifestyle as a mom of a young child. I’ve already booked my next appointment. If you’re a member of the straight baby fine hair club, I highly recommend you too book an appointment with Jenny G.

4 /5 Xiao Chen: Update: After reaching out to them directly, Gloria personally assisted me with the haircut. Now, the hair is not uneven and I have received many compliments. Thank you, Gloria! ----------- The worst cut I’ve gotten in years and this was my first visit to this Salon. Couldn’t tell right after the cut when she blew it out but can tell the contrast in the “layering” once hair is washed out. I wasn’t asking for a complicated cut… I asked for shoulder length cut with a little layer and a face frame. She even asked what length I want the face frame to be, which is around the chin (the shortest hair). However, the layer is shorter than my face frame so top half looks like a mushroom when my hair dries. I’ve been using a clip for the top ever since I got this haircut. Also, came in with hair parted to the right and left with hair parted in the middle. Thought I would just go for a new look but the hair cut is just horrible, regardless of the parting. 5 /5 Dana L: Ann Marie did my wedding hair and it’s beautiful. She’s so meticulous and detail oriented. I was very well taken care of. I was worried about time but she was very efficient and they even took me in a few minutes early as soon as I arrived. The other people at the salon too were so kind and they even gave me a little gift bag! Would definitely come back to try a haircut or color!

5 /5 Kate Detrick: I never write reviews - very occasionally you have an experience with a vendor that restores your faith in humanity and this is that for me. I had a miscommunication with my stylist (who’s a lovely person) re a cut and color which was very distressing. The general manager Gloria reached out to me and insisted she fix it personally. I had the best time with her at my correction appointment - she’s a kind, thoughtful, down to earth person who has the traits of a true leader, and has created a hair salon environment that feels like a community. And my hair looks amazing now. Stylists are knowledgeable and talented, and good people to boot.
