1 /5 Jacie Morris: Here is the email I sent to the business about a week ago now, and STILL haven’t received a response:
I had an appointment at your location in Watertown today, for a NYS inspection. I wanted to say, the ladies at the front desk are very friendly, and have great customer service.
When everything was all said and done, I got into my car, and the smell of cigarette smoke was absolutely overwhelming! Meaning, the gentleman working on my car were smoking in or around my car, in the garage, while it was opened up. My husband and I do not smoke cigarettes, and I absolutely cannot stand the smell.
I went back in to complain, and the ladies were very friendly and understanding. They asked the gentleman who worked on my car to spray the detailing spray to mask the smell. I understand that was the best they could do in the moment, but they shouldn’t have had to even do that. Plus, when I got back in my car after that, the chemical spray they used made me cough and irritated my lungs greatly. I had to drive with the windows down until it aired out a bit.
I understand that it is cold, and they may not want to smoke outside. But, when it effects the customers, or it effects their vehicle, it just unacceptable. I hope the smell goes away, otherwise I will have to pay, out of my pocket, to have my car detailed. I shouldn’t have to walk out of your shop, worried that I may have to detail my car, because it smells like cigarettes due to your staff.
I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone else, and for anyone else to experience their trust in a business broken, because of any similar situation.
