1 /5 Jay Jay: Yiyi, my hygienist, was fairly friendly. However, I felt that my cleaning was not as thorough as expected, given that I had not been to a dentist in six years and considering the condition of my teeth and gums. The cleaning itself lasted less than 15 minutes. She mentioned that my gums were inflamed and attempted to upsell a $100 fluoride treatment at the end, which I declined. When I inquired about the need for a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing), she advised against it, which I found surprising given the condition of my oral health.
When it was time to leave, she directed my attention to a QR code on the wall and asked if I could leave a review. Making this request inside the patient room, especially while observing the process, may create a sense of obligation to leave a perfect five-star review. This could explain the high volume of top-rated reviews for this business. A more appropriate approach would be to request reviews upon exiting the building through the waiting room or via email, allowing for a more genuine and unbiased response.
Overall, I probably wont be coming back to this business. However, for individuals with no significant oral health concerns, this practice offers a quick and efficient cleaning process that may be convenient for those with limited time. For those with more complex dental needs, like myself, it may be beneficial to seek care elsewhere. This practice seems to have a culture that prioritizes patient turn over time and money rather than your oral health and hygiene.
