Badiana Badio: Absolutely stunning park that is well maintained and has so much to do. From their stunning rose garden, the fountain and water views, the serene walking paths and lush green grasses perfect for laying and relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. There is something for everyone at this park and it shows by the amount of people I see always enjoying it. I feel nothing short of grateful that I am walking distance from this beautiful oasis.

Jacquelin S. H.: Cute pocket park with multiple zones, workout equipment, big kids playground, toddler playground, basketball courts etc. The cute hopscotch, 4square, and us map paintings on the sidewalk areas add charm and functionality. The mosquitoes were bothersome but its definitely worth a visit to let the kids burn some energy.

Joseph Stacey: Very friendly staff, mostly volunteers who care about the history of their area make this happen. Nice collection of local art, goods, firearms, and representation of early life in this very historic area. The library is an excellent resource and working hard to preserve and protect historical materials. They are also working to digitize historical records.

Eric Arnold: I like this place because its a nice, easy walk and its beautiful! A few years ago I saw a bunch of Garter snakes which were fun to interact with. Also, I saw 3 Snapping turtles which was awesome! This year I saw a beautiful Deer that you could get a little close to! Very beautiful place, definitely have to check it out if you like nature.

Laurel Shuster: This fort museum was filled with military antiques and collections of oddities upstairs. The other buildings in the museum court are also historically interesting. The staff was very knowledgeable and pointed out a lot of interesting tidbits. They also had a great lunch suggestion - the Carrot Barn is a must !

John Wood: This is one of my favorite places. I found this park by sheer luck while traveling through the area for work. Theres a beautiful church and graveyard with a museum and some rich local history. The park proper is beautifully maintained by Marsha a wonderful local with a love of lilys and nature and an appreciation for peace and tranquility. Theres a beautiful covered wooden bridge at one entrance to the park where you can enjoy the sounds of the river below and the birds singing their songs. While on the bridge be sure to check out the small stand at one end where a local makes beautiful flower arrangements for the public to take home. Theres also a journal for visitors to write down their thanks and thoughts. The park is about a half mile round trail beautifully manicured and maintained and lined all the way around with lilys! When in bloom this park is astoundingly beautiful! Several local businesses have created small garden spots with beautiful flowers and plants and special monuments such as a giant yin yang and a spiral of rocks where I go to meditate. Im so thankful I found this park and look forward to watching the seasons change while pondering the meaning of life surrounded by beauty and tranquility.

Tim Welch: Really cool medieval style German house. The house tour is free and the docent is very helpful with good historic information. Its worth a stop. Seeing the old huge beams and wattle and daub construction is well worth it.
