3 /5 Elizabeth Rhymer: Google asked if I used this business before I started to leave this review. Well, I TRIED to use this business. In Oct 2022 I emailed Davida using the "contact us" email address on the website saying that I just moved to Troy and wanted to try Davidas but had questions about appointment availability in November. I never heard back. I decided to try again in May 2023 and made an appointment online with Davida for 11:00. I arrived a few minutes early and Davida wasnt there. I waited until 11:10 and left the salon. The stylist who was there tried to text her but no response. Apparently when you make an online appointment, you can choose a day and a time, but its not confirmed until you get an email. I made another appointment after this to see what might have been the problem and saw this message. However... this is not how any other online scheduler works, so I didnt expect this, and also why wasnt my appointment confirmed? Or canceled? I decided against my better judgment to keep the 2nd appointment I made, especially because Davida called me to apologize. I got there about 5 minutes early and Davida wasnt there yet. She came in just in time for my appointment but there was another lady there ahead of me! Either she scheduled us both at 11:00 or she was late to the other persons appointment. Either way, she obviously has no respect for other peoples time and is not reliable. I guess other stylists are independent contractors? No mention of other options for stylists on the website, no information about them, and no way to book with them, only Davida. I guess calling is the way to go (but why have the online booking then??) Maybe she would have done an awesome job, but Ill never know. 3 strikes and youre out. Leaving 3 stars out of extreme generosity and benefit of the doubt.
