5 /5 Colin Edenfield: People have given Erie County Medical Center a bad rap. I say, you get what you give. I was rolled into their ER about dead. Sure, the wait was long, but they check vitals often and as soon as I started to crash they had me set up with a bed in a quiet room and they did everything they could to bring me back to a point where I could go finish getting healthy on my own. The entire staff was respectful, in kind, and compassionate with the care they provided, including setting up my antibiotics and giving me an all-day bus pass to ensure I wouldn’t have to walk anywhere while I made my way back home. I love these guys. Show them some respect and watch what happens. You won’t regret it.
