1 /5 Anthony McEachin: The receptionists are not helpful. I went in because I had tooth pain, which led to having to schedule a root canal. I asked if there were any payment plans that I could set up and the receptionist gave me an attitude with no help. I called a few days later because I was in so much pain, I couldnt see out of my right eye. The receptionist told me too bad they dont prescribe antibiotics. I had to call the branch in Wappingers and speak to a manager to get any sort of help and a scheduled appointment. After my last cleaning, I was given a rant by one of the dentists saying I needed oral surgery. I told her I couldnt afford it and she told me I had to figure it out. When I asked for her recommendation in writing, I got nothing back. I called and the recommendation they gave was "Teeth are good. Brush and floss twice a day." The exact opposite of what I was told the day before. Today I tried rescheduling my cleaning appointment, and they told me the next open appointment is 3 months from now. When I asked if I could go to the Wappingers branch, I was met with an attitude "Patients shouldnt go from branch to branch." What difference does it make? Its the same company with dentists and receptionists covering for both. I said "Should I just go to a different dentist?" And she said "Well thats your choice Im taking you out of the schedule." And hung up on me. I have a lot of patience, especially for customer service positions, but I cant handle this anymore. This place is giving me anxiety attacks because I have no idea if the information Im getting is even correct, and if I ask questions, Im met with attitude as if Im the problem. I wouldnt recommend ANYONE go here to get dental work done. And Ill be sure to tell everyone I know at work that this is NOT the place to go.
