I have terrible TMJ and I’m always nervous going to the dentist because my jaw locks. She checked in on me multiple times during my cleaning to make sure I wasn’t in pain and my jaw was feeling okay. She eased my anxiety so much and did a great job with my cleaning

Melissa who received me made sure that my patient forms were taken care of and helped me through any steps which I needed assistance with! Maria my hygienist was and is Amazing! She made me feel like a human and not just another patient or number! She created a “mom and pop” vibe and that was greatly appreciated. She took the time to explain in detail what my procedure would be as well as addressed any concerns that I had! She was thorough and efficient and she definitely represents the office well! Dossi Larkin Excellent dental practice! When we arrived for our consultation, I was a little concerned because of the location; its in a somewhat sketchy part of Poughkeepsie. However, once we walked into the building, we were greeted by an extremely professional, kind and accommodating office staff. Amanda and Sabrina were pleasant, upbeat and made us feel welcomed. Dr. Janet Bodey did a wonderful job answering questions and keeping a calm demeanor. We have yet to have the necessary dental work recommended, our appointment is in a month (I will revisit with what I’m sure will be more praise) but I have complete confidence in Dental Oral Surgery in Poughkeepsie, NY!

Nancy Robles Staff is really nice. However, it felt like the Dr was rushing to get you out. I ended up slightly waking up and feeling tugs only for someone to say “shh shh hang on hang on”. You’re not given instructions of dos and donts. They don’t even give you an Ice pack to go home with. They only gave me 2 sets of gauze to change but wanted me to change them until bleeding stopped. Needless to say I needed more and continued bleeding. The location has no parking lot so parking is first come, first serve on the street. Signs said no smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. They were late for every appointment. I didn’t get seen by the Dr. until 35-40 min past my appointment time. I wish they would’ve put more care post surgery and not made you feel rushed.

Carmen L. My adult daughter had to have an extraction here because theyre the only ones that take her insurance locally. When we first pulled up I didnt even want to let her go in. Its in a semi-seedy part of town and there were people loitering outside the building. However, they had been very accommodating with having to reschedule appointments (they also take walk-ins). They were very professional and they did a great job with my daughter. The total time we were there was about an hour and 15 mins. The dentists bedside manner wasnt the best but she did a great job. Parking is an issue, we had to park on the street. The office is located in an old building that doesnt actually look like an office building. Bottom line dont judge a book by the cover with this one. They actually do good work.

Jenny Taylor Great place!! Entire staff is so friendly. I have anxiety surrounding dental work but everyone made me feel so comfortable. Marina is excellent at cleanings. Very gentle. Dr Piton is amazing! He listened to my concerns and catered the experience to address my worries. He is very patient and explains everything about the procedure. I couldn’t ask for a better dentist!

Polina Kunze Very unhappy with the experience. They refused to do a cleaning to upsell me on some super cleaning. Claimed they cant do a normal cleaning which obviously is a lie to upsell. Ive seen dentists like this. You show up and they suddenly find so many issues you may as well buy a funeral plot! You get a second and third opinion and there are no issues. No wonder this place had availability the week before.

Emily I broke a tooth on Saturday- called today ( Monday morning) as a new patient and got an appointment same day! Very grateful they were able to fit me in for my issue. Will be going back for a cleaning.

Mickie Dr. SuSu Is the BEST and his work shows it. Dr. SuSu promised me a beautiful smile and he did. I was too ashamed to even show my teeth in any pictures. Not anymore... see my picture for yourself.

Nkeba Aref Very considerate and professional. The doctor was very honest and down to earth. The assistant “Rose” was very compassionate and direct in answering all of my questions. The wait was short the space was clean and the TV set up is awesome!! It was my first time going and I have a final appointment awaiting as soon as my partial returns. I recommend going if you need someone to be honest, direct and compassionate. The other assistants were very helpful and nice. Costumer service is a 10!!

Mike Marchese I cant say enough good stuff about the care I received. Dr. Magda and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I originally was sent to an endodontist in Latham NY, which is near where I live for a root canal on tooth#2. I was charged $550 for a consultation, x-rays and a scan before even sitting in a chair, and then the Dr. disagrees with me about which tooth is causing me pain and refers me to surgeon to have a wisdom tooth removed. The surgeon did a full examination and found nothing wrong with the wisdom tooth and suggest I find another Endodontist. I was already out almost 800 dollars, and nothing was done to my painful tooth yet. Finally, I reached out to my insurance company for a list of Endodontists. Dr. Magdalena Goralczyk was the closest and she was 90 miles away. But at this point I am looking into the thousands to repair this tooth, I called the office, and they took all my information including insurance, my dentist, the endodontist and the surgeon I had seen. I was dealing with this tooth for 3 months bouncing around dental offices. When I arrived for my first appointment, I was expecting just a consultation, but because they had all my information ahead of time, and knew I had come so far, she began the procedure. Dr.Magda immediately knew which tooth it was and proceeded through the 1st stage of the procedure, I returned a week later for the 2nd stage, Dr, Magda began to worked on the tooth but apologized because she said your tooth is still so infected I have to send you home, she subscribed me a different antibiotic because I have been subscribed the same one 4 times by everyone else. A week later she was able to finish the root canal procedure. Dr.Magda truly cares about her patients, she made sure the infection was all out, she cared about the distant of my drive. the girls up front had all the insurance paperwork all taking care of and my co pay was minimal. but the most amazing thing was that she not only saved the tooth but because it was part of a bridge, she saved me thousands. I waited a few weeks to before writing this and I am so happy to say I have no pain, and I can chew using that side again. Long winded review I know, but sometimes just saying she was good cant express my appreciation for the skilled care Dr.Magda had given me and the truly knowledgably friendly staff she has placed around her.

Vinson Valega Saw Dr. Magda today for my root canal after visiting last week for a 3D scan, which she showed me clearly indicated an abscess. She was clear and helpful and answered all my questions. Then the actual procedure went completely smoothly, with nearly zero pain as she numbed me up. The actual time spent in the chair: 30-45 minutes with literally zero pain. She cleared out the abscess and now Im recovering with a glass of wine and pasta. :) Her staff was also exemplary - the lovely two women up front who have smiles and warmth and were soooo supportive. Loved them! And Derrick, her assistant, is also full of smiles and professionalism. Overall? A+ office, A+ expertise, A+ experience! Highly recommended; feel free to reach out to me to ask any follow-up questions. Im a huge Dr. M. fan now!

Christine Vogg Dr Magdelena Goralczyk is the absolute best! I have had so much dental work done throughout my life that has caused major anxiety, but she and her staff are wonderful and keep me calm, and she does amazing work. I am so grateful to have found her and I can’t praise her enough!

Stephanie Hourani I had a great experience however when I was in the exam room, the lady named Kayla hygienist told me to change into the dentist glasses and they are not prescription. I have prescription glasses so I have to wear them at all times when I am inside the building. I was feeling weird during my walk today.

Katy Priest This place is a major scam. I have gum issues but i came in and they basically refused to clean my teeth unless i agreed to pay $87!!! The dentist was so rough. I’ve never been in so much pain. I would never come back!

Kevin Lashomb This dental practice is top notch. They have dental equipment I have never seen before as it seems they have the latest most efficient. Dr Vilimas is extremely proficient and caring making sure you are comfortable with no pain. Highly reccomend!

Robin Torres Dr. Maron is as current and innovative as he is kind and compassionate. He’s cared for our family for years, and this week, he saw me same day, at 6:40pm to start an energency root canal, and staff all stayed over time. He is a continuous learner and always ahead of the best practices curve. He does what is necessary and not what is profitable, and the whole staff is just so kind. 10 out of 10.

victoria castro I am not one to write a google review, but my experience here was so bad I feel I must share to warn future patients and if I could give negative stars I would. I had a tooth extracted here and Dr. Cuomo performed the surgery. He has the WORST bedside manner I have ever experienced. He raised his voice and yelled at me multiple times throughout the surgery. I was in pain throughout the entire procedure and every time I tried to communicate that to him and told me I was not. And ultimately, left me with a DISLOCATED JAW. Immediately following surgery they told my driver I had to be taken to the ER at vassar since “that is where the oral surgeon is”. I was never even offered a wheelchair from the dentist office to my car. Upon arriving at Vassar the staff there (who were all exceptional) were astonished as to why I was there. Considering north eastern is an ORAL SURGERY office they should have been able to help me there. Instead Dr. Cuomo had an extremely rude attitude of “I don’t want to deal with this patient anymore so I’m just going to send you elsewhere”. My surgery with Dr. Cuomo went wrong in every possible way. I left traumatized not only mentally but in extreme physical pain. With extensive medical bills and and WEEKS of recovery. It has been a few months since my surgery now, and my jaw is still not the same. DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!!

Hannah Luria I had a tooth pulled here in December 2022. Everything went fine with the extraction itself. I was quoted about $100 (after insurance) for the tooth extraction, which I paid at the appointment. I received a large bill in the mail months later and I called to find out if there was some mistake. Sure enough, their billing department found that an error was made and I did not owe them anything, in fact, they owed me a $40 credit. They said they would send me the $40 credit in the mail in the next few weeks. A check never came and I have called many times since then (it’s now been 1 year, 4 months since my appointment). I am always told that the checks are going out soon and that it might take a few weeks. And every time no check arrives. I’m at a point where it’s not worth my frustration to keep calling and being given a line that they clearly don’t intend to follow through on. I’d be happy to change my review if I received the check in the mail. But I won’t be returning here or recommending this practice to anyone because I don’t trust their billing practices.

Two FishFiveLoaves went to have implants done given a course of work to be done . when i arrived i was given a list of things to sign saying i would pay what my coverage would not pay .My problem here it seemed like i was going to be charged for something other outside of the negotiated so i had questions on this because the total showing was over 5700. for two implants and bone grafting. My insurance and dentist had agreed to a negotiated payment of 4800. My insurance paid but i have almost 2000. out of pocket expense due before any service given. Once i asked about payment everything went left. my money was taken and i didn’t receive all of what i paid in advance for, dentist claims he missed that i had a spot that was not healed even though the office had did 3 scans of the area. So he did and additional bone graft. i asked was there an additional fee he looked me in the face and said no. when i got to the window he told the worker to put it in a low grade fee what ever that meant. when i said to the rep he said there wasn’t another fee she said he didn’t say that. when i asked are you using the payment for the implants to pay for bone graft she said it will cancel each other out in also we will bill your insurance. I wasn’t sure what was happening starting to feel disrespected even more as a customer i did not have the answers or full understanding my prescription was sent to wrong drug store my change was not given to me or a refund for only having half of the service done at the time . i was suppose to receive a call back until this time no call no refund no answers . I believe clarification and integrity should be first and foremost in any business and people should be treated with respect even after you receive their insurance or cash payment for treatment I left feeling like this was totally wrong

Scott Edgar Dr Scott Kupetz has been my dentist for many years. Because of my anxiety about seeing dentists before Dr. Kupetz, my teeth were not in very good shape. Although the office is a 45 minute drive for me, I chose Dr Kupetz because he was known for painless dentistry. The doctor and his entire staff are all non-judgmental, personable, friendly, and kind. They treat patients like family. I have had cleanings, extractions, bone grafts, and am currently having dental implant work. I experienced no pain and the doctor and staff worked with my insurance company to ensure a fair and reasonable cost for me. I would definitely recommend Dr Kupetz and his staff.

Mary Kelly I highly recommend Scott Kupetz DMD! I had scheduled an emergency next day appointment for a chipped tooth and they were able to fit me in next morning. Dr. Scott and Ray, hygienist, were very professional and friendly and made me feel very welcomed which was so comforting after chipping your tooth! Dr. Scott provided a very thorough examination and provided me with detailed expectations/preventative tips. I would definitely recommend Scott Kupetz DMD for your dentistry services!

John Namerow I had a dental emergency and needed to find a dentist on the weekend. I wasnt optimistic I would be successful. Dr Kupetz called me back after leaving a message, and was very understanding of the necessity to see him right away. He patiently explained the procedure, and was very congenial, which helped a lot because Im sure he could tell I was stressed. Not only that, his assistant was very pleasant and laid back as well. Thank you Dr Kupetz and his staff for making it into a positive pleasant experience for me under stressful circumstances.

Karen Angel Addendum: On a recent visit, the lovely and very thorough hygeniest, Mary, recommended an irrigation tool similar to a Waterpik but much less expensive that has worked wonders for my teeth. Its like a power washer for your teeth! In many decades of dentist visits, no one had ever recommended this very simple, inexpensive yet effective dental tool. Very thorough, knowledgeable, caring, patient-centric dentist and staff. I have tried a number of dentists in the area, and this office is head and shoulders above the rest when it comes to both dental care and patient service. I feel extremely fortunate to have found them.

Most of all I like that he is a perfectionist. My Hygienist was wonderful, gentle and efficient. His assistant Terry Is terrific as well as the rest of his staff, they are super great!

Joseph Barros Horrible experience got my cavity filled but started hurting again went in to go check it out. Had an appointment at 12 and they took me in at 1 no one in the office btw. Lady came in to take my x ray 1 x ray took 35 minutes to get my results lady’s came in tapped my tooth with unhygienic tool said if it hurt and said I need root canal not even the doctor I was with just a random doctor that came in. To rough long wait 2 hours for 1 x ray and filled in my cavity wrong never going here ever again

Rosalie Czarnecki I had this dentist for about maybe 2 years when it came to cleaning my teeth they was good but I just recently went in to get fill in I was having painful migraines and it was because of my cavities. I only had 2 when I went in and when I came out she said I have 7 I’m like how tf so I’m like ok whatever so the first fill in she did was to high I had to go back in because I couldn’t eat it was painful she does another 2 fill in and that was some what ok but now I have a big gap between my teeth so big my tough fits between my took I’m fed up I’m looking for a better dentist at this point smh she lucky I don’t sue her butt I’m so angry and she was very rough on my teeth I really hope no one goes to her

Magdalena Ledkovsky I love this dentist! I’ve been going here for about 2 years and Dr. Rawlings is the best! She is so funny and kind and comforting. She has fixed a load of cavities and has taught me how to do more/better preventative care to take care of my teeth! Ever since I started going here I stopped having cavities develop since she taught me the proper way to floss. She is intelligent and makes you feel so at home. I highly recommend. Idk why these reviews are so negative I’ve never had a better dentist!

Bethany Linden A+ Amazing, from start to finish!!!! I cannot say enough good from the check in to the check out... and especially the services in between. =) The staff are incredibly kind and put me right at ease.... even though my pain level was absolutely an 11 by the time I walked in. Im pregnant, and SO many places didnt even want to touch me because of this. However, when my local dentist recommended them to me, they made a way for me to receive emergency care IMMEDIATELY!! It turned out that my molar was very infected, so Dr. Blondin took care of it. He was very kind, gentle, understanding, and thorough. The assistants that helped were also wonderful! I was in tears.... but the GOOD kind.... when I walked out. I feel like they saved my life, no joke. THANK YOU, AMAZING Dr. B & TEAM!!!!!

june jacobs I went to Blondin for a root canal replacement. Not only did they fit me in the same day of my referral, but they were incredible thorough. Its always scary to have a tooth opened up and exposed, but they were very considerate of the risks; I felt safe and in great hands. They called the next day to check on me which I really appreciated and their staff has been nothing but professional and empathetic. I highly recommend them!

Amanda Miller I had to find a new dentist as my previous dentist no longer accepts my insurance. I am happy I found Dr. Karounos and her team. Dr. Karounos and Shereen are quick, personable, and efficient. I had to return to have some cavities taken care of and suddenly got nervous beforehand, worried about getting a needle to pain management. I was pleasantly surprised that the discomfort was absolutely minimal and again I had a quick, easy appointment and was able to return to work afterwards. Shannon is also very knowledgeable about insurance and was able to prepare me as far as what to expect and I was able to plan my finances around each visit. I highly recommend this team!

Maria Harrison This is by far one of the "best" experiences I have had with a dental office in a long time. I was looking for a new dentist with more of a personalized experience vs. get them in and get them out with no real interest in you as the patient. I found just that with Dr. Maria, Shannon and Charice. Dr. Maria is top notch and knows her stuff. She has a very gentle approach and makes sure the patient is always comfortable. The office itself is modern and fresh and the atmosphere is welcoming. There is not a lot of waiting and everything has been very well planned. Shannon is super helpful and always greets you like she wants you there. Charice is one of the best. I can honestly say that I like going to the dentist! Its like visiting friends. Dr. Maria is a gem!

Danny Callahan I love this place. Quick and easy. I would not describe Dr. Nizam as “tender” but I personally prefer someone who is straight to the point and can give me solid recommendations. His front desk person is also sweet as can be and super helpful.

Dr. Jo at Fishkill Family Dentistry is a master of his craft ; turning those who may have loathed the dentists chair into happy converts. Dr. Jo sees my entire family including my small children. He has always been kind , caring and thorough- this extends to his office staff as well. The positive experience starts by calling the front desk and doesnt end until the kids pick something from the treasure chest. We Love Fishkill Family Dentistry !!
