2 /5 Gail Moyer: New building,less services. Rude receptionist, nothing is posted when services are given on what days. If the office doesnt post when they work how are the veterans suppose to know. The hours say from 8 to 430 and when they are closed for lunch but that doesnt mean you will be seen or what services are given on what days. Was told only have 2 nurses and only one other person there it was around 930 , so they can only do labs on certain days. Very sad for the local veterans.

1 /5 William Vansteenburg: Dr. Kolby has the worst attitude of any physician I have ever had in 30 yrs of dealing with VA healthcare as a disabled vet. Rude, disrespectful, and don’t ever examine you just sits in chair reading off computer screen. When I called him out to head nurse was told sorry, that’s it. Complained to Albany VA and nothing was done. Was told he was supposedly retiring but they couldn’t do nothing about it. I was told if I had a problem with him I can go to a different clinic or would have to deal with it. Seriously, I thought they worked for vets not vet’s have to take sub par medical care because no one will do their job and remove him. He should have been let go several yrs ago. Very disappointing that I have to go elsewhere for my va healthcare instead of them dealing with this problem they have had with him for many yrs. Thumbs down for Fonda VA clinic. No leadership, just pass the buck. This is thanks you get for your service to our country.

5 /5 Briana Wilson: The Staff works efficiently to successfully meet all needs, fill last minute prescriptions when I forget, move appointments when I have trouble sleeping and just dont have it in me to make it. They constantly refer programs that will assjst me, they make every effort to remind me of my appointments. Louis, the secretary always either answers, or returns my call in a timely manner. Overall , this is an exceptional facility, and it is far more warm and welcoming than other clinics or the VA hospital.

1 /5 Joe: These people are absolutely out of control. I work full time. Arrive at 10:25 for my 10:45 appointment. At 11:10, I was told there were two patients ahead of me. I am changing my healthcare. These people perpetuate the horror stories of VA healthcare.

Sim Lyriti: The photo is deceptive, half of the driveway is blocked by signs of NO PARKING at every yard, like the white signs from the picture are blocking a half of the curve for no reason! Besides that, there are 5 big guys sitting at the Parking entrance to “help” you park the car (so called valet) despite the fact that it is a simple flat open parking where every one can put the car without help. Why are 5 guys there? If these 5 guys are sitting without doing anything, why they cannot observe the driveway and not allow parking instead of blocking it. There is no space to STAY and pick-up a patient or wait for one. Total disrespect for the people AND THE PATIENTS, the whole setting is an ABOMINATION! What is the administration doing? These are the cases where I am ashamed to belong to the same human race!

Cindy Kski: Kickbacks is all I have to say Awful all about money and not patient care. They are in network but took blood in office and sent to out of network labs without my knowledge or concern and when I questioned them they said we are contracted with them. This included my genetic testing which my last pregnancy a previous provider sent to lab in network and was covered 100 because of my age but here. They just put me in medical debt without my knowledge or consent resulting in over $15,000 in charges who can afford that, I had great credit before this. Really disgusting doctors especially Paul Hussler who when questioned about forcing unnecessary out of network test, threatens harm to a 37 week high risk disabled pregnant patient … do yourself a favor don’t go ti this office unless you want to be overcharged. A year later I am still dealing with billing issues that any other office would’ve resolved!! This has not only caused a financial hardship but sever emotional distress!!

Sandy C: This is the only doctor Ive felt comfortable bringing my son to since he was born. He was born at Winthrop and they have all of his records. They arent an actual PCP but I get in where and when I can fit in. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment right away, but the service is never lacking. Im a bit surprised by all of the negative reviews, but it has been YEARS since that was posted. Overall I am satisfied with the service every time we come.

The labor and delivery team was professional yet warm, and their expertise made me feel confident and at ease. The delivery and postpartum care was equally outstanding, with staff continuously offering guidance and support as I adjusted to life with my newborn. I truly felt like I was in great hands, and the level of care I received was top-notch. Thank you to the entire maternity team at South Nassau for making this such a positive experience for me and my baby!
