1 /5 Cindy Kski: Kickbacks is all I have to say Awful all about money and not patient care. They are in network but took blood in office and sent to out of network labs without my knowledge or concern and when I questioned them they said we are contracted with them. This included my genetic testing which my last pregnancy a previous provider sent to lab in network and was covered 100 because of my age but here. They just put me in medical debt without my knowledge or consent resulting in over $15,000 in charges who can afford that, I had great credit before this. Really disgusting doctors especially Paul Hussler who when questioned about forcing unnecessary out of network test, threatens harm to a 37 week high risk disabled pregnant patient … do yourself a favor don’t go ti this office unless you want to be overcharged. A year later I am still dealing with billing issues that any other office would’ve resolved!! This has not only caused a financial hardship but sever emotional distress!!

5 /5 Cynthia Martinez: Love this office! The front desk staff, appointments and billing staff are very helpful and accommodating. I’ve been coming here for several years, and all throughout my pregnancy, and haven’t had an experience where I felt the office staff weren’t helpful or friendly. I also love my doctor, Dr. Nodelman, but would easily see any of the other doctors at this practice (and did throughout my pregnancy). I would highly recommend!

4 /5 My Brooklyn Pilates: I had a good experience with most of the doctors here, with Dr. Husserl being the exception. He openly contradicted one of the other doctors regarding current protocol for inductions (the other doctor was in the right). My final pelvic exam prior to delivery was the worst ever and performed by him. Luckily, at 39 weeks I labored at home with a doula, arrived at the hospital just in time to deliver, and Dr. Ventimiglia was on call the night my son was born, so I never had to see Dr. Husserl again. Five years later and expecting my second, I’m sad to see this Dr is still with this practice but happy I chose a midwifery practice the second time around where bedside manner, professionalism, and compassion are incomparable.

1 /5 P: I am a patient of Dr. Nodelman and needed to be seen urgently so I was scheduled to see Dr. Paul Husserl. Paul was dismissive, disengaging, condescending, and overall a really bad clinician. He did not bother to ask me any questions relating to my concern like scale of pain, frequency of occurrence, or its interference with my daily life. I emphasized to him repeatedly how much pain I am in when my condition flares up to which he responds "well thats not that bad". As a man who has not experienced any acute or chronic pain in the reproductive area, his lack of empathy was truly astonishing. I feel bad for his regular patients that they have to deal with such incompetence and lack of empathy. He refused to order lab work, diagnostic imaging, or any further testing at all even when I requested it. A really bad clinician, I would not recommend him.
