Jennifer Julia Salon - Buffalo Sarah Ertel: Super disappointed with the service and the way the stylist made me feel invalidated about my concerns. Don’t go here if you’re looking for freehand balayage, because you might get a standard full foil with a root melt instead.
The stylists here are talented, but I didn’t feel heard at all when it came to what I wanted with my service. I presented pictures that were rooted blonde, hand painted styles. Bright pops of color and a melted look. I left the salon with almost the exact same hair I walked in with, which was crazy after spending 4 hours in the chair. (Pictures included in the review) (first is before almost brighter second is after) As someone in the service industry, I still tipped slightly over 20% which made my service shy of 400. So, 4 hours and almost 400 dollars later, my hair looks the same! I’m only writing this review because I first reached out to the stylist giving her a chance to address my concerns but instead I felt sort of blamed? She was nice about it, but I felt she was undermining my concerns.
I reached out to the stylist on Instagram, presenting the issue. She claimed it was as blonde as I could get without damaging my hair, which is fair. However, she didn’t address the fact that she gave me a ton of contrast with the highlights when I said I didn’t wanted that. It’s crazy that this happened to me, as I didn’t think my expectations were unrealistic. I actually showed this to another licensed stylist and she agreed that it wasn’t technically a balayage. Which was the service I booked. Do your research before booking. I will definitely be looking at a stylist’s body of work on Instagram before booking next time.
fawn and fox salon - Buffalo Madison Perrelli: Sarah H. has cut my hair twice now and she is truly the best! So funny and personable, which I really appreciate since I tend to be awkward and never know what to talk about at appointments lol. She really knows what she’s doing and always makes me look great and feel so confident. If you are interested in supporting a junior stylist I’d 100% recommend Sarah!
Salina Paris Salon and Barbershop - Buffalo Nati Lopez: Came here before to get a cut and highlights and it was beautifully done. The salon is very clean and pretty! Salina is very nice and talked to me to keep me comfortable while she did my hair for the first time! Definently will be going back!

He’s talented and takes time to listen so that he understands what you want, but also gives great feedback in regards to the type of hair you have, the shape of your face, and what might suit you best. I’m so happy to have been referred to him. And the salon itself is relaxing and comfortable with great music. Highly recommended!

I know am always in good hands, especially with my hair stylist, Carly, who has been doing my hair for nearly half a decade.
The salon itself is absolutely stunning, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The cascading greenery on the walls and ceils immediately puts me at ease when I walk in. I love the salon’s use of only organic products, which not only makes me feel good about supporting environmentally-conscious practices, but also means my hair is getting the best possible treatment.
Carly, my stylist, is also is the owner of Breathe Salon and is incredibly talented and knowledgeable. She always takes the time to listen to my needs and preferences. She gives me some fantastic suggestions and tips that has really enhanced my overall look and make me feel amazing. I am always satisfied with her services.
Overall, I highly recommend Breathe Salon to anyone looking for a fantastic hair care experience. From the stunning salon to the friendly and talented staff, everything about this place is top-notch.

Scenic Salon - Buffalo Meg Saint-Neri: I’ve gotten my hair done by Maggie at least 4 times. She’s my go to hairdresser now! Maggie made my hair so beautiful! Which made me feel so beautiful! She was very professional & had great topics of conversation. I highly recommend booking with her!
