1 /5 Marjorie Hallenbeck: It has taken me a while to decide if I wanted to leave a review or not. I dont leave reviews lightly, but I think other people should know to be mindful with what you say or do around Dr. Devin. You might just say the wrong thing and find yourselves receiving a letter of discharge. This Practice has been my entire familys dentist for over 30+ years, and at almost 63 years old I now have to find a new dentist! Not to mention all the many friends I have referred to go there over the years. I hope they received better service from him then I have.
I want everyone to know, right from the start, that this review is in no way directed towards Dr. Alex, she is a sweetheart and is very professional in her field, and has done a wonderful job on my teeth over the last 5 years, I will miss seeing her. This review is entirely towards Dr. Devin Harrison. This dentist has been in my mouth 2 times for 2 cleanings over the last 5 years, and a week after my routine cleaning, I receive a letter that there has been a disruption in the doctor-patient relationship and they are withdrawing from any further dental care for me (what the "F" does that mean?).
I keep running that office visit through my mind. Maybe he didnt like the fact that I came in with a painful back issue and I wasnt sure if I could sit there for very long, but I was there trying (receiving NO sympathy), but the assistant was so kind and sweet, she got me a pillow to put behind my back, which helped a lot, maybe he should take lessons from the workers on how to treat patients. Maybe it was because I questioned if my ex rays were due and when they were last done, or maybe because I refused to do a fluoride treatment or maybe it was because I asked how his dad was doing (considering he was my dentist for so many years, it seemed like a polite thing to do). Maybe he was just having a bad day, but to take it out on a 62 year old lady thats been a long time patient is unacceptable! Plus to boot, I have two bridges in my mouth, these were both done at this practice and should have been needle flossed when my cleaning was finished (this is ALWAYS done) but it was not, I had to do it myself when I got home to remove the tooth paste grit from over the top of them. Maybe his expertise is not in cleaning teeth, because my visit was quick and unfinished. I bet my insurance was charged full price though.
Im sure this review will try to be passed off onto the previous owner like was done in other bad reviews Ive read on Google. His own father was the previous owner and it has been, I believe, 5 years since he has retired, so shame on you trying to pass the buck onto your dad! If this review helps just one person whos in search of a new dentist, it was worth spending my time to type it all up!!
