Debra I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed while having a crown prepped on one tooth and a filling put into the one next to it. I was checked in on often to see how I was doing/feeling, and explanations were provided to me throughout to ensure my understanding of everything that was going on (and, just as importantly, why everything was being done). I honestly cant speak highly enough about what a pleasant and positive experience this was.

He has really great staff in place here as well as all of the Family Dentistry practices he is a part of. She took the time to answer any questions I had and made sure I knew what to expect going forward. The dental hygienist, Jennifer, is very compassionate and wonderful at what she does. Jim Rumsey Dr. Harrison, did a fabulous job, I can chew without pain now, as he restored a broken tooth, and this is allowing me to travel. The emergency appointment is very much appreciated, and he did a great job.

Taylor Donohue-Aguero Do not go here. Dr. Devin was dismissive and rude through the entire interaction. As someone with severe dental PTSD and anxiety this was completely unprofessional and will never be returning. Update on August 28th- got this letter in the mail. Did they really need to communicate Im not able to go back? They actually think I wouldve wanted to? This place is an actual joke! Avoid this office!

E. Lynn Villeneuve I hadnt been to a dentist for a few years because of not having insurance. Found him on the list my new insurance gave me a year ago. Love going there, super clean, he works on his own, had 2 cleanings done there, getting some repairs done next month. Highly recommend him.

Trish Darcangelis I had an appointment that I was unable to make because I was extremely sick. I called ahead of time and informed them. Apparently they held a grudge because when I called them in excruciating pain the receptionist (who was the rudest and most bitter sounding person I have ever spoken with) said because you didn’t come to your first appointment we will not see you. I could understand if I had several appointments that I just did not show up to but ONE APPOINTMENT and they turn me away??? How can these people call themselves professionals and treat a human being who’s in horrible pain in such a way. What has happened to humanity??? How utterly shameful for people in the medical field to behave. I would rather deal with this pain that be seen by people who treat other human beings in such a way. I thank God I was raised to be kind to those in need and not shrug my nose up at them and close the door in their face. These people have shown their true colors and I feel sorry for everyone who works in such a place. I will continue to leave my story everywhere I can and make sure people know they are being seen by true evil who takes pleasure in seeing others in pain and refusing to help them. So much for do no harm.

Danielle Risso I actually absolutely love this dentist and had been going to her for years. My last appointment I had some crowns placed in no need to come back until after I had my consultation with an oral surgeon and we could go ahead with a partial. Fast forward not even a year, no outstanding appointments, no missed appointments one of my crowns is falling off and I called to see if I could have it recemented. I was first told they no longer participate in my insurance Network and I would need to pay out of pocket and I said that was fine. I was put on hold to be told that I needed to be seen and they had tried to reach out to me via phone which is untrue. Nothing through the mail, and that I was dismissed from the practice it would need to find another dentist even though most dentists will recement a crown that they have placed with no issue. She wouldnt even fix the work nothing and that I was dismissed from the practice. Seth Chelsea Liddle Dr. Dunlap and her staff are fantastic. Very friendly and professional. They explain every step of a procedure, and even a cleaning. We highly recommend, 12/10 stars.

TheLastBoyScout1976 My filling fell out thatTHEY gave me after about six months and I am not the type of person to go to a dentist unless I absolutely need it. When I called to make an appointment to get it fixed she said they had dropped me as a patient because if I did not come in for a cleaning every six months or every year, they would no longer see me as a patient. What they really mean is if they can’t use you to make money billing your insurance company for cleanings they will not agree to see you only when you need a dentist. If you’re going to build a relationship with a dentist, this is not the one you want because it is obvious they are only interested in making money off of you.

Nancy R The Dentist office at Johnstown Family Dental are fantastic. Very warm and kind people. They make you feel like youve known them for years. That was so comforting for me. The office is clean and modern. Karoline is very helpful with any questions you might have. Shes great. Dr. Zandieh is very caring and gentle making sure your comfortable every step of the way. They are the best in the area. I highly recommend them.

TheOfficial Op-Gaming-OG I have a very long history of dental issues, combined with very very sensitive teeth and extreme fear of dental work, it’s a terrible combination……I haven’t been to a dentist in over a decade or more due to this, and the ones before continued to remind me why I dislike dentist…..until I took a leap and went here!! I don’t have the words to express how absolutely incredible they are! They went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, relaxed and always explained what they were doing to do and after that the following steps so I had no surprises. They took extra attention took to ensure I wasn’t in pain and they helped me so much to not only eliminate the terrible dental pain I was experiencing but to relieve my fear and stress of dentist, and the work done looks incredible to the point it looks natural and blends in like no works been done leaving me feeling more confident and better about my mouth! If you want the best dentist, dental work, the friendliest assistant with a welcoming calming friendly atmosphere then look no further! 5 star plus!

Jessica Extremely nice down to earth office! I had a tooth hurting Id never been there before. They wait listed me which ended up only being a few days. They noticed my anxiety upon arriving and walked me through every step and took the extra effort to help ease my mind. The dentist was very quick and painless to fix my tooth and it looks and feels great. They also are not judgy at all. I explained I stopped fluoride and said they had no problem not using it for my cleaning appointment. Id definitely recommend.

Ryan Warner I recently had a dental crown procedure with Dr Houtz. Between her professionalism and the technology used the entire experience could not have went better. Dr Houtz and her staff have also been amazing with my 2 young boys. This truly is an amazing family focused practice!

Crystal Rose Not Gary but another dentist treated my mother terrible. The lack of disrespect and how he down graded her was unprofessional and pathetic. He doesnt deserve to be in any business dealing with patients. My mom misses Gary cause he actually handled her with professionalism and treated her very kind. This place will go downhill now!! They also claim she didnt have insurance, then we showed them proof. Well they lost a customer now cause I wont let my mom go back there to be talked down to etc.

OG_ FishboneHipE Called 24 hours in advanced to reschedule and the secretary said they had to dismiss me, what a joke. Since when cant you call and reschedule? Absolutely the worst. The dentist is kind of rude as well. When I got fillings I could tell he was losing his cool because I couldnt keep my mouth open for like 45 mins without my jaw getting soar. This place is ridiculous, I do not recommend anyone to go here.

Joshua Allen I had been going to this dentist office for almost twenty years and decided to make a change! This use to be the dentist for me until, due to an unfortunate circumstance, the business went through an ownership change. I have a crazy schedule and unfortunately this dentist office does not seem to be able to accommodate that. Work schedules are crazier than ever and in my personal opinion, some places should be a little more flexible with their customers, especially if they pay on time, EVERY TIME for over two decades.
