5 /5 Mary Naughton: This is a lovely park. I came for the lilac festival this year. I didn’t see any lilacs, nor anyone selling anything lilac related, except for the “official lilac festival merch” shirts and sweatshirts, clothing. No bouquets or lilac flavored or scented items. There were a lot of nice things despite not seeing lilacs. There were nice items for sale. I loved the metalworks and I got a metal lizard that I’ll display outside my home in the backyard. Despite not seeing lilacs in the park (they- the lilacs were all around in the neighborhood around the park - in the people’s beautiful manicured gardens) I did see other beautiful flowers and interesting trees to photograph.

5 /5 Daniel Rosenhaus: You gotta admire, love and be thankful for this park! The lilacs, rhododendron and azaleas, when in bloom, are spectacular displays of nature’s bursting color and splendor. Only for short periods in spring, but man are these worth visiting.

5 /5 Carol Ann Jason: Highland Park is a lovely outdoor space in the Rochester area. We enjoyed walking around the park and seeing the variety of trees that were labeled. We recently had the opportunity to return in May just after the Lilac Festival. There were still a few lilacs in bloom; however the Azaleas and Rhododendron throughout areas of the park were magnificent.

Tinker Nature Park / Hansen Nature Center - Pittsford

Alisa M Oldacre: Great place for nature and wildlife fanatics, as well as history buffs! The trails are awesome, winding through wetlands, dense forests, and fields of wildflowers. Theres a historical house and conservatory building on-site, with lots of educational stations that highlight the history of the area and the wildlife within the park. There are clean restrooms, tons of parking, and even picnic shelters. Great place to spend the day!

Selena Jackson: Where else can you marvel at our Creators wonderful works, especially the water cycle wrapped up in the clouds. We gze at the sky as the cloud formations make us wonder about the questions God posed to Job. Job chapter 38, verse 336 & 37 asks: "Who put wisdom within the clouds Or gave understanding to the sky phenomenon? Who is wise enough to count the clouds, Or who can tip over the water jars of heaven...." Come to Charlotte Pier often and gaze in wonder!!

The wildlife is abundant and most of the time it is quiet and without a crowd. Youll never know what youll come across as the plants and scenery change from day to day giving an ever changing and beautiful experience ✨

I Love ROC Sign - Rochester

Cirrus Sanofi: Rochetser is a small town and you wont find anything special, but the Main St is definitely interesting with the diverse architecture and the sign I Love ROC, it creates a meeting point in the city and a feeling that there is some kind of center here. The whole park around is very nice, new and nicely lit up in the evening.

Lower Falls Park - Rochester

P P: This place was really good we hiked around and saw the falls only down side was the bridge was under repair so couldn’t walk over the spillway.

Clubhouse Fun Center (Greece) - Greece

Trista Samson: Wow Factory is now open on weekends. If you cant get the ball cages to dump, tell an associate and they will dump them for the kids :) No Ariel course anymore its gone. Arcade is high end games and nothing. Was broken when we were there. Prizes and points fair and good variety.

Maplewood Park - Rochester

April: Maplewood Park is past its prime, but it was a nice option near work to have lunch. Most people stayed in their cars, even though the weather was nice. There were people working on the grounds to get ready for the late Spring/Summer season. Personally, I would not go there at night. Its a rather secluded location right in the middle of a busy area. I dont feel its the safest park in Rochester, but not the most dangerous by far.

Washington Grove -

Paul Kretchmer: Beautiful earth trails in a portion of old growth forest in the heart of Rochester. Beautiful in any season and especially beautiful in the autumn.
