06-2025 Ideogenesis in Hight rate 12 location for tourist in Auburn, NY, USAMidway State Park - Bemus Point John Gorton: We spent 5 hrs. there today with our Grandaughter and her 3 Toddlers. The 6 yr. old exclaimed it was the best day of her life! Everything was just perfect for a 10 year old or younger. Grounds and restrooms were very clean. Food was expensive as expected but good. All the staff were very pleasant and courteous with the Kids. Wristbands are the cheapest deal if youre staying all day. We were all very happy that we went there for our last Summer Fling! Thanks for all your hard work and efforts..
Chautauqua Belle - Mayville George Lodick: The Belle was a great location for my sons wedding rehearsal dinner cruise. The setting on beautiful Lake Chautauqua and the pleasant late summer weather made for a wonderful start to this marriage weekend.
The staff was wonderful and the sights on the lake were amazing. They provide an interesting history of the famous Chautauqua Institution as we cruised the south side of the lake.
Being in a boat in the water is always a good time and the Chautauqua Belle is a great way to enjoy a few hours on beautiful Lake Chautauqua.
Pearl Gravit Memorial Park - Mayville Gilkinson Sorena (Lic. R.E. Salesperson): Such a great place! New updates to the field have been made and it looks great! A nice pavilion for a picnic or activities area, nice restrooms and concession stand. 2 fields for people to use and lots of green space.
Panama Rocks Scenic Park - Panama Amanda Stohl: Decided to make a spur of the moment overnight trip with my daughter. We had a blast glamping. The accommodations were perfect. Comfortable and spacious. We will be back!! 100/10
Miller Bell Tower - Chautauqua Hildy Eppel Hassman: A quaint stop to admire the houses and calm waters. The bell chimes on each quarter of the hour which was lovely to hear. We walked and relaxed a bit - took some pics.
Chautauqua Institution - Mayville Brandon Whittemore: Reminds me of Carmel, CA. Have not attended any events other than a Jurasic Park showing at the amputheater accumpined by an orchestra for the soundtrack. This place was developed to be the "perfect community". I was half expecting to see the Stepford Wives. I did enjoy the area. Plan on attending some events this summer. Be warned, the Brick Walk Cafe has low standards for the quality of the food served.
Mark Twains Study - Elmira Theresa St. John: Awesome place to visit - who hasnt read at least one of his books??? Very small and simple, but wonderful to go inside and stand where he stood, look out the windows where he gazed off into the distance while he wrote about life. Docents share the history from May to October. Hours are posted on the door and website. Cool piece of history on the college graounds.
Arnot Art Museum - Elmira Lake Kubilius: Small place, but an art lovers gem in the heart of Elmira. Some extremely high quality pieces in a very quiet place. Excellent for a quick, thoughtful stroll with no crowds.
