1 /5 Unknown: I specifically asked for French nails. Considering the area and where this salon is located I imagined the service and quality of work being great…… especially because of their prices. The picture is only after adding the tips and dip powder.
For a French-white tip, it would follow my natural nail line- the oval pink line. The tip she applied is straight across the middle of my nail. I tried to get pass this part but I do a clear coat with the white tip. There isn’t any buffing or filing that would hide that white line in the middle of my nail. She told me she would apply color. For a natural looking French the only colors would be sheer pinks- which would be sheer- and not cover that line. It may not be noticeable to other people but for the price I’m paying- because French nails are already an additional charge- I want it to be clean. Other reviews have stated this isn’t the best salon and I didn’t look until I noticed what she was doing so I paid 30 bucks for her services just because I didn’t want to be rude of her time but this was such a waste of my time. As the owner seeing this she shouldn’t have charged me. And they only do dip powder tips, which means there’s additional charges already and I’ve never seen someone apply so much nail glue, bonding glue, and some other kind of adhesive to put dip powder on. I can’t imagine how brittle my nails will be trying to remove this.
I don’t typically do reviews but if you’re reading this… maybe a regular mani, pedi is nice here but tips I know for sure are not their specialty. Price does not always mean you’re guaranteed quality, unfortunately.
