1 /5 Jonathan B: I visited Lotus for a simple, no-frills haircut—just a 1.5 on the sides and a light trim on top. Frank, the stylist (and owner), instead gave me an extremely short and uneven fade. I had to repeatedly point out areas that needed correction, but the results only got worse.
Things escalated quickly. When I saw the haircut going south, I told Frank to stop and that I wouldnt be paying. At that point, he locked the front door, got in my face, and aggressively demanded payment. He even told me to take off my glasses—implying he wanted to fight. Not wanting to escalate the situation, I asked how much he was charging, and he demanded $40—despite my previous haircuts at this salon costing around $25. He refused to show me a price list and yelled that he could charge whatever he wanted because it was his store. Feeling trapped, I paid the $40 just to get out of there. Only then did he unlock the door. As I was leaving, I warned an approaching customer to stay away—Frank responded by cursing me out.
I strongly urge anyone considering this salon to stay far away, especially from Frank. Not only is he a terrible stylist, but he is also unprofessional, aggressive, and dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs.
