04-2025 Lugo Hair Studio in The Best 18 Hair Salons in Queens, NY (part 2) Xcellent Beauty Salon - Bayside Andrea Santos cruz: Booked an appointment a few ago and the prices are crazy for the results. I didnāt even ask for highlights or some crazy stuff, I only asked for one simple hair color and the lady messed it up, it all came out different spot colors and they were about to proceed and style it right after which had me in shock they did not even ask if I was okay with the results till I told them to please fix it and of course they had to but they went to go redo and fry my hair more. I spent nearly 400-450 and plus having to give out tips for me to not even be satisfied and ended up coming out worse with my hair very fried, scalp feeling weak and at this point I didnāt even want to say anything because i still felt bad for the lady and i know they wouldnāt have gave me any of my money back.. Point is, donāt come to this place or make sure you have a person with actual experience.
Exotik Hair Salon - Elmhurst Kelly: Been going to the manicurist for 3 years following her everywhere she goes. Amazing service, does a great job in her cleaning. Have done my eyebrows with Andre and the skillset is AMAZING. The waxing, facial, etc is beyond amazing and the hair stylist are overall phenomenal. The entire team is great, professional, and make your time pleasant while youāre there. Definitely recommend!!
NEW BEST CUT HAIR SALON - Elmhurst Mary belle Nery: Iāve been coming to this salon since 2020, and my hair has always been amazing and healthy. I also absolutely love the people who work here, especially Sam. They always take such great care of my hair, and everyone here is so warm and welcoming.
Hairealistic salon - Flushing Stephannie: Had such an amazing experience with Dee! Her service is like no other. It felt like I was hanging out with a friend passing time. She knows hair! From color to extensions she does it all! Would not get my hair done anywhere else and her prices are extremely affordable! Worth the travel from NJ!
Hair Flair Salon - Jamaica Olivia Rose: As you can tell if you read my reviews, I stick with the old and familiar. This Salon has been in my neighborhood forever. I was there the first day it opened and I have been going there ever since. I trust them with my hair and their stylist are the only ones that I trust to cut my hair. They dye, wash-and-set, deep condition, weaves, whether its a sew in or taking out, and they accommodate all hair types. I Have a few favorite stylist and washers but they are all good. If you want your hair washed and scratched like no other find auntie she does it the best. I highly recommend the salon and their prices are unbeatable. They have begun to charge for bobby pins 4 pin curls so bring your own pins. Stay off following c-19 guidelines but before c-19 we used to get coffee and donuts and orange juice. They love their customers and it shows.
Pelo Pelo Hair Salon - Richmond Hill Alexandra T: I went to this location back in August 2024 based on reviews. I went as a walk-in. He took me without appointment on a weekend. Luckily theres only one client inside. The reviews were right about how nice and talented this guy is! My hair needed some fixing, I showed him a pic of what I had in mind, he went ā in and did a great job! For that Im very grateful!
The only down-sides are: the place is smaller than expected and can use some TLC! Also, he did not wash my hair before cutting it! A bit disappointed cuz it was dirty, but I went with it.
Fancy Wave Beauty Salon - Flushing Edwin Caceres: This salon is very professional, accommodating, and clean, with very kind and respectful barbers, stylists and assistants/washers. Ive been getting my haircuts from Derrick for over 15 years now. Like stated before he is very accommodating as he will give you a FREE CONSULTATION; so just speak clearly or show a picture of how you would want your hair cut and hell give you that exact cut due to his abilities which are high class. Also, as well as if he feels it wont fit you; he will make recommendations of which haircut/style would fit you best based on your head shape/hair type. Ive never been disappointed with a haircut hes given me and Im 100% sure you wont be either.
Muri Hair - Bayside Yumi Chung: This is my second time here for layering and hair thinning and I am sooo happy with the cut once again! Iāll definitely be going back every couple months for my maintenance cuts. The owner is always so welcoming and nice and my appointment was fulfilled in a timely manner. I havenāt had to wait at all. I also really love that they respect the length you want cut. Thank you muri hair !
Estelle Hair Boutique - Jamaica Firstclass Lady: Estelle is humble woman and she knows how to do my heir just the way i like it. Here prices are affordable. I been coming to here for 4 years now and she never disappoints, if I could I would give here 10 stars āļø
Muse Hair Studio - Jamaica Shytera Rice: First time EVER getting my hair cut in she did a amazing job Its my birthday and wanted something new showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered exactly what I asked for.
