2 /5 Kelly: Maria Tucci butchered my hair. I mean hacked semi-long hair into a shapeless mop on top of my head. She talked about drinking and offered me wine at noon. And overcharged! She did do a good job waxing my eyebrows, but Ill never go back for a haircut and it will be at least a year until grows out.

1 /5 Carla Williams: PROS - the staff was kind and friendly (at first) and she did a great job with my eyebrow and lip wax. CONS- You be the judge by the pictures! My main purpose for going to Maria was for highlights. I showed her pictures of what I didnt want and pictures of what I did want and stressed my dislike for the tiger strip, stringy highlights. I explained that I wanted everything to blend nicely. She used the cap method- which made me question her skill from the very beginning but I stayed hopeful thinking she would perform a root smudge at least. That was not the case. My hair came out exactly the way I was scared it would. They were terrible. Like, go home and sob to your husband kind of terrible. I called the salon back and expressed that I was dissatisfied. She had me come back later that day to try and fix it. When I arrived she was argumentative stating "Im in love with it" and "its not stringy. Its blended". She tried to make me feel like I didnt use the right terminology and that it did indeed look like the picture I showed her. I explained that the highlights DO NOT blend and I can see exactly where each one starts at the root and showed examples of the big streaks that werent blended. Also, that it was brassy and the roots needed to be darker. She continued to argue with me and her tone was aggressive, annoyed and rude. She set me up with her coworker to work on my roots. Donna was kind and compassionate, which was nice. We got to talking about my earrings and Maria thought we were talking about the highlights and told Donna "dont talk to her. Dont try to convinced her". I was blown away. Maria didnt show any empathy, acknowledge her mistake or offer an apology throughout the whole experience. The root touch up helped to make it okay enough to go out in public but its still embarrassing and Ill still need to find a colorist that can perform a color correction. I paid money for a service and was unhappy with the results and she fought me about it. Its unbelievable. Save your hair and money and stay away from this salon.

5 /5 Alexandra Herr: I came here with a hot mess of a situation. I had at least 3 different old dyes in my hair as well as an uneven bleach job. It was a disaster! I didnt know how well anyone would be able to fix it. When she was done with my hair though, I LOVED the result!! It was beautifully even and a white/platinum blonde. The photos really speak for themselves. You would never have been able to tell what a disaster it was before. Plus, Maria and her staff were very nice and me feel at ease. I strongly recommend getting your hair done here for a fair price and excellent quality!!

5 /5 Gioia Saporito: I’ve been a client of Maria’s for over twenty years; Maria is an extreme hard worker; and is a complete sweetheart. She’s always made me feel welcome; and she cares about her clientele. The haircuts are excellent and precise; the waxing is phenomenal: she strives to make you happy. Gina is also excellent with haircuts/styles…and Donna is fantastic with blowouts; and hair straightening!! It’s a fun experience listening to the banter; and having coffee; and feeling like your home away from home:)
