Elizabeth Elow Isabel is a fantastic hairstylist! I have curly hair and it’s hard sometimes to find someone who understands the struggles. She took my very bleached curls and brought life back into my hair. I have also received keratin treatments from her and I absolutely love it! If your looking for good hairstylist, she’s your girl!

Traci Wyss One of the hardest things to find when moving to a new area is a hair stylist! I am VERY picky with my blonde coloring and she knocked it out of the park the first appointment!! Isabel is not only is amazing at hair, but she is kind, honest, informative, and efficient. She is up front about pricing and services being provided. Kelly Maria Tucci butchered my hair. I mean hacked semi-long hair into a shapeless mop on top of my head. She talked about drinking and offered me wine at noon. And overcharged! She did do a good job waxing my eyebrows, but Ill never go back for a haircut and it will be at least a year until grows out.

Carla Williams PROS - the staff was kind and friendly (at first) and she did a great job with my eyebrow and lip wax. CONS- You be the judge by the pictures! My main purpose for going to Maria was for highlights. I showed her pictures of what I didnt want and pictures of what I did want and stressed my dislike for the tiger strip, stringy highlights. I explained that I wanted everything to blend nicely. She used the cap method- which made me question her skill from the very beginning but I stayed hopeful thinking she would perform a root smudge at least. That was not the case. My hair came out exactly the way I was scared it would. They were terrible. Like, go home and sob to your husband kind of terrible. I called the salon back and expressed that I was dissatisfied. She had me come back later that day to try and fix it. When I arrived she was argumentative stating "Im in love with it" and "its not stringy. Its blended". She tried to make me feel like I didnt use the right terminology and that it did indeed look like the picture I showed her. I explained that the highlights DO NOT blend and I can see exactly where each one starts at the root and showed examples of the big streaks that werent blended. Also, that it was brassy and the roots needed to be darker. She continued to argue with me and her tone was aggressive, annoyed and rude. She set me up with her coworker to work on my roots. Donna was kind and compassionate, which was nice. We got to talking about my earrings and Maria thought we were talking about the highlights and told Donna "dont talk to her. Dont try to convinced her". I was blown away. Maria didnt show any empathy, acknowledge her mistake or offer an apology throughout the whole experience. The root touch up helped to make it okay enough to go out in public but its still embarrassing and Ill still need to find a colorist that can perform a color correction. I paid money for a service and was unhappy with the results and she fought me about it. Its unbelievable. Save your hair and money and stay away from this salon.

Alexandra Herr I came here with a hot mess of a situation. I had at least 3 different old dyes in my hair as well as an uneven bleach job. It was a disaster! I didnt know how well anyone would be able to fix it. When she was done with my hair though, I LOVED the result!! It was beautifully even and a white/platinum blonde. The photos really speak for themselves. You would never have been able to tell what a disaster it was before. Plus, Maria and her staff were very nice and me feel at ease. I strongly recommend getting your hair done here for a fair price and excellent quality!!

Gioia Saporito I’ve been a client of Maria’s for over twenty years; Maria is an extreme hard worker; and is a complete sweetheart. She’s always made me feel welcome; and she cares about her clientele. The haircuts are excellent and precise; the waxing is phenomenal: she strives to make you happy. Gina is also excellent with haircuts/styles…and Donna is fantastic with blowouts; and hair straightening!! It’s a fun experience listening to the banter; and having coffee; and feeling like your home away from home:)

Serina Dorsagno We were married 7/1 and hired Christina D. & Julia as the hairdressers to do updos on 8 girls. Everyone looked GREAT! The hair was in place all night, despite dancing and sweating! They showed up to the venue on time and ready to get it done! They were personable , fun, and most reasonably priced! The girls truely were an asset to the day!

Philip Edkins Amanda has a great place called Posh Salon. Besides me my son, his wife and my grandkids all get haircuts here! She knows how to make us look good. She and the crew will help you with your hair needs.

She said a she need a few dollars more for product and it was an extra $30! She said NO LAYERS and requested a blow out, they failed on both requests.

Bodily Charm This shop is absolutely delightful. From the initial call to book the appointment to the checkout phase, everything was entirely wonderful. Brenda is not only a complete marvel, but shes ever so charming and very knowledgeable about her craft. I cant recommend the shop more highly, nor praise them enough to do them justice. A supreme experience!!

h. I called to ask for some prices and the guy couldnt hear me so he just hung up the phone. I called back right after and no one picked up. I went in person, trying to give this place a chance and they had me waiting there for a while, I get it, you have to take care of your customers. What I didnt like is that they were making it seem like I cant afford it and giving me dirty looks. Its hard getting a good stylist for curly hair especially since upstate is so small.

Hunny B Lash DOES NOT last. Trust previous reviews when they say falls off within 24 hours. It was coming off the fresh set the second i got done as I lightly brushed thru with the spoolie provided. This was a first timer for me, never done lashes before, this was a birthday present from my sister. And i didnt like it. Definitely is Not worth the money.

When we arrived we were welcomed as if weve been customers for years. We loved every minute of the appointment and my daughter absolutely LOVED her hair. It was so pretty. However, on the day of the appointment, I attempted to contact Aneta in advance by phone to inform her that I would be running slightly behind schedule, approximately 5-10 minutes. Unfortunately, my call went unanswered. I arrived at the shop at approximately 8:40 AM, but upon entering, I found that there was no one present. I knocked on an interior door and made approximately seven phone calls, one of which resulted in being directed to voicemail. Despite my efforts, I did not receive any response. I also, texted & no response. This kind of customer service is highly unprofessional, ignorant, & inconsiderate being as I cancelled all of my clients at work today to come to an appointment to be ignored. I could have went somewhere else and now I have to go on my vacation tomorrow without my nails and feet done due to an incompetent worker. Idk if its vecause im black, but If you dont want to service black customers thats all you have to say instead of booking appointments and cancelling we will gladly take our money elsewhere. Two Blue Eyes Photography I HIGHLY recommend Nicole George at Something Beautiful. Not only is she a gem of a person, but a true artist. She squeezed me in last minute for a pretty drastic haircut and listened to what I wanted to do and made sure I was ready to take the leap to much MUCH shorter hair. She tailored the haircut with precision and I recommend her to everyone I know.

It was obviously not directed at us, but anyone with those manners and lack of respect to other business owners — their own customers should be aware of it and doesn’t deserve anyone’s service.

Amy Thayer I dislike being the bearer of a bad review, BUT... As nice as the ladies were there was inexperience as far as the cut my daughter wanted. ( grunge, layered) And it was not styled (feathered 70s) in the manner I presented through a video I shared. I would have rather been told and let her hair be done by someone else.
